The world of Nil is a realm of infinite nothingness, this endless grey void is home to black phantoms known the "people of nil" who serve the Mage who summoned them by opening the Gate of Wraith Wail. It is accessed by casting the Genesis Zero spell, where it unleashes many of its residence to drag the users' targets into their world. The victims who are brought over into this world float endlessly and eventually have their soul, memories and very existence erased, rendering them into nothing. Escaping from this endless abyss is near impossible, the only instances this has occurred is when the victim is able to burn through the user’s magic spell or when the user is distracted enough before the gate is completely close, allowing the trapped target to break free.[1][2][3]
