Warren Rocko (ウォーレン・ラッコー Wōren Rakkō) is a Mage of the Fairy Tail Guild.

Appearance

Warren's former appearance

Warren is a slim man of average height with black, straight hair, which was initially styled in an undercut-like fashion, with most of it being kept quite short aside from a prominent wisp on the right part of his face. Warren has black eyes and a mildly prominent nose, with his most distinctive facial feature being his long, and thick lips. Seven years after the disappearance of Tenrou Island, the only difference in Warren's appearance seems to be his haircut, with his hair now being left free to partially cover his forehead, being styled in a single prominent spike on top of his head.

Warren initially donned a high-collared red jacket, with striped brown padding over the shoulders and neck areas, with part of it protruding downwards on the chest, following the zip closing the jacket. Each of its light-colored cuffs bore a line on the back edge, and the jacket was closed around Warren’s waist by a light belt with a round buckle, somehow shaped like a mechanical device, with a small, dark capsized pyramid on it. He also wore a pair of white pants tucked inside boots, with the parts covering his feet being black, and the ones coming down from his elbows being reminiscent of light, loose shin-guards made of cloth. After the time skip, Warren now wears a double-breasted sleeveless green tunic held closed on the chest by four buttons, with pale green sleeves emerging from under it, tucked inside long, similarly-colored gloves, and a light green sash circling his waist. He also wears light-colored pants, similarly tucked inside simple boots.

History

Warren, although he may not look it, is classified as one of the more powerful Mages in the guild, and he has gone on a huge number of jobs alone. His fear of heights causes him many problems in his life. At one point he took a girl on a date, but as they were crossing a bridge, his mental shouts of "Help, save me!!! I'm scared!!!" were heard by everyone in town.

Synopsis

Macao arc

	Warren is seen drinking with other Fairy Tail members

When Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia and Happy enter the guild, Warren is drinking alongside Vijeeter Ecor and some of his other guild mates. As Natsu starts an all-out guild battle by kicking Krov in the face, Warren joins the fight alongside his comrades. However, the brawl is put to an end when the master arrives and begins to scold the guild members, including Warren.

Lullaby arc

After Team Natsu return to the guild, having successfully subdued Eisenwald and Lullaby, Erza and Natsu fight each other as a fulfillment of Erza's promise to Natsu before the mission. Most of the members of the guild are present to watch the fight, Warren being one of them. However, the fight is interrupted when a messenger from the Magic Council arrives and arrests Erza.

Phantom Lord arc

Warren attacks Phantom Lord alongside his guild

One day when Warren and everyone else is absent from the Fairy Tail Guild, Gajeel Redfox, an S-Class Mage from the Phantom Lord Guild, attacks and damages the building. He later assaults the members of Team Shadow Gear; Levy McGarden, Jet and Droy. These two unprovoked attacks causes guild master Makarov to declare war upon Phantom Lord, and he charges towards the rival guild, bringing with him most of his Mages, amongst them, Warren. Warren manages to defeat a few Phantom Lord members, but is ultimately pummeled to the floor and beaten by Gajeel.

At the battle of Fairy Tail, Warren is forced to fight Max Alors in order to escape from Freed Justine's Enchantment runes, and successfully manages to defeat him. He is later defeated himself, through unknown means.

Just as Erza is about to sacrifice herself, in order to save Magnolia by destroying Laxus' Thunder Palace, Warren uses his telepathy to contact all of the guild members. He tells everyone that they all need to come together to take out Laxus' Magic that will otherwise destroy the town. Erza asks how Warren knew about the situation and it is revealed that Warren is with Gray Fullbuster, who had told him about it.

Then Max, the person Warren beat in the battle festival, raises awareness of how angry he is at Warren for beating him up. This results in everybody complaining at other guild members for their senseless fights. Gray then yells for everyone to concentrate on destroying Laxus' palace, although they yell back for him to shut up. Warren, alongside everyone else, then destroy the circle of lightning and as a result, they get electrocuted. Warren and the other Mages exudes happiness that the threat has been dealt with, and are amazed at how much greater their guild is, when everyone unites as one.

Warren is briefly seen at the guild with other Fairy Tail members when Team Natsu and Lisanna return from Edolas. He also joins the welcoming party and is dragged into the usual fight among the guild members.

Warren is also present at the S-Class Trial announcement. He is among those who answer Lucy's questions about the exam and he tells her that the exam is always very difficult.

Warren's sadness

Seven years after the disappearance of Tenrou Island, the guild is reduced to a small tavern with only a few members remaining, one of whom is Warren. When Nab gets annoyed about how few job requests that are sent to them, Warren tells him to ignore it, remarking the fact that Nab doesn't even take any jobs anyway. After Droy shouts that Levy will never ŕeturn, everyone in the guild falls silent just as a group of men from their rival guild, Twilight Ogre, enter and begin to demand payment for the debt that Fairy Tail owes them. The new guild master, Macao Conbolt, informs the group that they were unable to collect enough money to make the payment, but that they will pay twice the amount next month. The group then leaves after trashing the guild and promises to return next month for the money.

After the group has left, everyone in the guild notices Reedus' sketch book littered on the floor. The sketch book is shown to contain Reedus' sketches of the guild members back when the guild was strong and complete. Seeing the sketches, everyone in the guild begins to grieve and reminisce about what has happened since the disappearance of their comrades. Suddenly, the Mages hear a sound from outside and everyone heads out only to see Blue Pegasus's Christina. The Trimens then get off the airship and inform the guild members that they have detected something in the Ethernano waters around Tenrou Island and that the island still exists.

In one last attempt to find their missing guild mates, Warren, joined by Alzack, Bisca, Jet, Droy and Max, heads towards the place where the island was destroyed. During their voyage, they encounter a girl with long wavy hair standing on top of the ocean. The girl raises both her hands and Tenrou Island, inside a sphere bearing the mark of the Fairy Tail guild, appears before them. The group then follows the girl who leads them to Natsu's motionless and half-buried body.The group soon find the rest of the Team Tenrou, and discover that the girl they had encountered is the ghost of Fairy Tail's first guild master, Mavis Vermillion. She informs Warren and the others that she saved Team Tenrou from Acnologia's blast.

Warren and the others return with the Team Tenrou and lets them explain how they were saved. The rest of the guild then cries in joy of their return.

Warren invites Wendy to dance

While the members of Fairy Tail are practicing social dancing, Warren asks Wendy to dance, with her accepting. Later on at Balsamico's castle, Warren, Happy and Carla sit outside watching the scene of the ball through a communication Lacrima that Warren had previously set up. Warren suspects a few people within the ball of being the criminal Velveno, but can't confirm anyone. A young boy asks Wendy to dance while Warren, Happy and Carla later discover that the real boy who is dancing with Wendy is actually tied up. Warren then warns Wendy that she is actually dancing with Velveno.

After Lucy accidentally turns herself invisible and heads to the guild for help, Warren and other guild members start to have a fight with each other as Lucy unintentionally starts the brawl. After Gray attempts to fix Lucy using his Magic, the ice melts and the others state it's creepy. Warren, along with the others, watches Freed try and fail to fix Lucy using his runes. When Lucy begins to disappear permanently, Warren and the others start to forget about her, until Natsu and Happy remember her again. Happy then slams into Lucy, flinging the ointment bottle all over everyone, causing them all to go invisible except her.

After Lucy's cousin, Michelle Lobster appears with a task for the Fairy Tail Mages to retrieve the pieces of an ancient weapon called the Infinity Clock, Warren and the other Mages scatter in various locations in order to acquire the pieces. Doing so, however, results in the reborn dark guild, now known as Reborn Oración Seis, acquiring the clock parts, assembling the Infinity Clock and using it for their own purposes.

Fairy Tail then decides to counter attack and reclaim the Infinity Clock from the dark guild, and thus sends various members around the continent to search for it. Warren is one of the members that is chosen to stay back at the guild in order to protect it, should an attack towards it occur. Around that time, Warren uses his Telepathy and, via Cana's Magic Card, he manages to contact Laki Olietta, who informs him that the Michelle Lobster accompanying Lucy's group is probably an impostor. Upon hearing this, Warren says he will immediately inform Makarov and Lucy about the sudden turn of events. However, he is interrupted by Vijeeter Ecor, who announces that the leader of Reborn Oración Seis is heading for the Kardia Cathedral.

Bisca and Alzack decide to go there and stop him, asking for Warren and the other Mages present to take care of Asuka during their absence. Warren then tries to communicate with Lucy's group and tell them that their Michelle is an impostor, but fails to do so because Elfman is unconscious and thus cannot listen to Warren speaking, while the other Mages are busy fighting with Reborn Oración Seis. Later, however, Elfman regains consciousness and contacts Warren himself, as Imitatia defeats Natsu and Lucy, but Warren is unable to hear what Elfman is saying due to him speaking quietly to not be noticed.

Warren later welcomes Elfman when he returns from his mission and reports that Michelle Lobster is in fact Imitatia, the sixth member of Reborn Oración Seis and that she captured Natsu and Lucy. Before any action can be taken to save the two Mages, the Archaeologists Lucy had met earlier appear at the Fairy Tail Guild, requesting to meet with her.

After learning that Lucy has been kidnapped, one of the Archaeologists reveals to Warren and the rest of the Fairy Tail Mages that he is a descendant of Will Neville. He then proceeds to explain how Jude Heartfilia acquired the hand of the Clock, as well as how dangerous Real Nightmare will be, if the Infinity Clock isn't stopped soon and so requests from Warren and the other Fairy Tail Mages to prevent Real Nightmare once and for all. Soon after that, Blue Pegausus' airship appears in the sky, and a team of Fairy Tail Mages accompanies Ichiya and heads towards the Infinity Clock. Warren, however, is one of the members chosen to stay behind at the guild.

Everyone except Erza is influenced by Real Nightmare

Later, Warren and the others watch as the Fiore Guards attempt to fire at the Infinity Clock using Lacrima cannons, only to have their attacks reflected back at them. Suddenly, Warren and his fellow guild mates begin to experience similar effects from the Magical object, which result in Warren taking on a very muscular form. As Erza hits Warren and the others with the hammer, they return back to normal within a few seconds.

Under Byro's orders, Kanaloa is supposed to board Christina and attempt to prevent Warren and the other Mages from going any further. Ichiya tells the Fairy Tail members that he will handle Kanaloa, and they, under his orders, jump directly to the Zentopia grounds, leaving Ichiya's fate unknown. Later, Gildarts contacts Warren and he reveals to the Mages present that the Archbishop is being mind controlled by Lapointe.

As Warren's group reunites with Natsu, Gildarts and Coco, they witness a defeated Lapointe revealing that the only way to stop Real Nightmare is to kill the source of the Clock's power, Lucy Heartfilia, only to disappear soon after saying this. As the Legion Corps is determined to dispose of Lucy in order to save the world, Fairy Tail divides into two groups, one in charge of healing the Archbishop and one in charge of saving Lucy.

Warren listens to Happy's plan

Warren joins the first group, and he watches as Wendy tries to heal the Archbishop. When she manages to do so, Happy realizes that in order to save Lucy, the Reborn Oración Seis has to be defeated. Warren passes on the message to the Mages that went after Lucy, hoping they can put an end to the dark guild. Some time later, Warren learns from the other Mages back at the guild that Happy's speculation about saving Lucy was correct. After this, he and Wendy discuss Lucy's possible fate after the dark guild is defeated.

The Archbishop talks through Warren's telepathy

He along with Wendy, Laki and Carla learns that Lucy will soon be consumed by the Infinity Clock. He contacts all of the Fairy Tail members, asking them to hurry and defeat the dark guild. At the same time, Romeo, who has arrived at the Infinity Castle, is noticed by Warren, and reveals that he was hiding inside Christina all along in order to help them. While Warren communicates with the other Mages, Byro appears at the group's location and asks about the Legion Mages' whereabouts. In that same moment, the Archbishop regains consciousness and announces that while he was being controlled, he was able to hear the thoughts of the dark guild members and thus knows how to halt the procedure of Lucy's absorption by the clock. Warren listens as the Archbishop reveals both to Fairy Tail and to Legion Corps that everyone should cooperate for now in order to halt the Infinity Clock and destroy the chains linking it to the Earth, and Warren uses his telepathy to pass this information on to everyone else.

Later, as Warren, Wendy and Carla run throughout the Infinity Castle, they are contacted by Levy at the Fairy Tail Guild, who along with the Archaeological Society has discovered some important information concerning the clock. Warren telepathically communicates this information through to everyone, stating that since Lucy used Real Nightmare to help Natsu in his fight, she accelerated the merging process, and that Jean-Luc Neville and the others at the guild have found a way to save her. Using this information, Lucy manages to control and destroy the Infinity Clock, saving the world from Real Nightmare and at last finishing the adventure surrounding the mysterious device.

Fairy Tail bids farewell to the Legionnaires

After the Infinity Clock crisis, the Legionnaires stop by at the Fairy Tail guild in order to apologize for their actions, but it soon ends up as a huge party. Max and Warren discuss about Macao and Wakaba being forced to attend a religious ceremony, while the other Fairy Tail members are enjoying themselves. Later, Warren, along with his guild mates, bids farewell to the Legionnaires, since they embark on a new mission to find the Infinity Clock pieces and seal them for good.

Grand Magic Games arc

Warren shocked at Natsu's strength

A few weeks after the Tenrou Team's return, Warren watches Natsu and Max fight. As Natsu greatly struggles against Max, Warren begins to wonder if their new strength during the seven years means they can beat Natsu now, though he quickly changes his mind after Natsu uses Lightning Fire Dragon's Roar, which makes Max forfeit.

Warren is present when Makarov announces Gildarts as the next master, but instead Makarov realizes Gildarts has declined the role, but not before reinstating Laxus Dreyar as a guild member and making Makarov the master again. After this, Romeo brings up a way for Fairy Tail to become the number one guild in Fiore again by participating in the Grand Magic Games. Warren and some other members oppose this suggestion, but once Makarov hears the prize for winning is 30,000,000 , he announces their guild's participation.

Warren shocked after seeing Mavis

Warren then joins the other Fairy Tail members as a spectator in the arena of the Grand Magic Games, the Domus Flau. He is shocked when he sees that Mavis Vermillion is also there to support the Fairy Tail team. When Fairy Tail's second team, Team Fairy Tail B, enters, Warren and the others cheer them on, and though Mavis notices the man disguised as Mystogan is Jellal Fernandes, she accepts Makarov's decision to let him participate.

During Lucy's fight against Flare Corona, Warren, alongside his guild-mates, cheers for Lucy and doesn't notice Flare taking Asuka as hostage to make Lucy vulnerable and punish her. Alongside the others, he is very surprised when Natsu figures out Flare's plan and frees Asuka, allowing Lucy to fight once more. When Gemini, summoned by Lucy, transforms into Lucy only wearing a towel, Warren expresses happiness at the sight. Using Gemini as her aid, Lucy casts Urano Metria, but falls in the fight due to outside influences. As the final battle of the day starts; a match between Fairy Tail B's Jellal and Jura Neekis, Mavis begins to become uncomfortable, and Warren is shocked to discover it is merely because she needs to use the restroom, and not due to the fact that Fairy Tail is cheating by allowing Jellal to participate.

Jellal too falls in his battle due to outside interference, but despite Fairy Tail being in the bottom two positions, the guild heads out to a bar to celebrate, and Warren tags along, sitting at a table and drinking with Max. He listens as Makarov gives an encouraging speech to all present, and watches from afar as chaos descends at the guild party. After a number of drinks, Natsu and Max fight, with Natsu easily overpowering the Sand Mage. Seeing Max defeated on the tavern floor, Warren openly wonders how the Tenrou Team managed to improve their skills in such a short period of time. Meanwhile, Cana is approached by a Quatro Cerberus Mage and convinced to a drinking contest, and after seeing her fall to the heavy drinker, Warren comments that he has never seen Cana floored before. When Macao and Wakaba attempt to attack the man for taking Cana's bra, the Mage easily overpowers them, causing Warren to question just who exactly he is.

The second day of the Games begins the following morning, and Warren watches on, disgruntled as Gajeel and Natsu lag in last place in the Chariot event due to their motion sickness. Despite their sticky situation, Natsu and Gajeel refuse to give in and shout their want to finish the event to show everyone that Fairy Tail has not fallen, as well as make it up to those who were left behind for the seven years. As he listens to Natsu's speech, Warren begins to cry with the other Fairy Tail members.

The next day, Warren watches happily as Erza volunteers for and dominates in the Pandemonium event. Due to the other participants needing to rank too, a secondary event is soon organized, and upon seeing Cana step forward for the B Team to compete, Warren wonders aloud whether she is completely wasted, having drunk both before and during the event. When the battles of the day begin, Laxus is called forth to battle Team Raven Tail's Alexei. Due to the previous cheating by the said team, Warren puts his Telepathy Magic to use to communicate with Bisca, the Thunder God Tribe and Lisanna, all of whom are stationed to watch Ivan Dreyar and Team Raven Tail to make sure they don't get up to anything. The battle begins and Laxus soon takes a thrashing from his opponent. Seeing this and not being able to believe that somebody like Laxus could be overpowered so easily, Warren hastily contacts those on watch, only to hear that Raven Tail appear to be up to nothing, having not moved since the battle commenced. However, Raven Tail have in fact cheated, the Team Raven Tail members in the audience being mere illusions, whilst the entire team all appear before Laxus and attack him. Witnessing the heart-throbbing fight that follows, Warren, alongside other Fairy Tail members, celebrates Laxus's victory over the entirety of Raven Tail.

Chaos at Ryuzetsu Land

Later, Warren and the other Fairy Tail members party at a local bar for their successful day. Warren, along with Vijeeter Ecor, laughs as Natsu crashes into a pile of barrels, Gajeel and Wendy. He continues to laugh while watching Lisanna being forced by Natsu to barrel surf. Later that night, Warren cheers in joy with Jet and Droy as the guild decides to visit Ryuzetsu Land. While there, he and Max praise Wendy and Sherria's innocence as they play. He ends up fainting with the rest of the people there as Natsu attempts to thaw a frozen pool with his Magic.

Warren proud of Fairy Tail's "strongest team"

On the fourth day of the Games, the Grand Magic Games administration decides to reorganize the teams due to Team Raven Tail's disqualification; Fairy Tail as a result reorganizes its team to consist of five members. Warren, together with his fellow guild mates, is seen in the audience, proud of their new "strongest team", comprising of Natsu Dragneel, Gajeel Redfox, Gray Fullbuster, Laxus Dreyar and Erza Scarlet.

The tag battles begin soon after, and upon seeing that the bunny member of Blue Pegasus is none other than Nichiya the Exceed, Warren is speechless. During the conclusion of the battle between Natsu, Rogue and Sting, Warren watches in shock with the rest of the guild as he waits to see what the outcome of the Dragon Slayers' clash was. At the end of the match, Warren joyfully witnesses Natsu defeat Sting and Rogue by himself, leaving Fairy Tail in the ranking's first place at the end of the fourth day.

Soon after, the final day of the games gets under-way and the participating teams enter the Domus Flau. Along with the rest of the guild, Warren watches as Team Fairy Tail enters the arena and happily cheers for them.

When the final event begins, the entire audience and all of the participants are shocked to see that Team Fairy Tail is merely standing by and doing nothing. It is soon revealed that the Team Fairy Tail is acting according to Mavis' battle strategy, which proves to be very effective, as Fairy Tail climbs to the top of the ranking again, much to Warren's happiness and excitement. After hearing that Mavis calculated Gray and Rufus Lore's meeting, Warren, happy to hear this, asks Mavis if that means Gray's victory is secure. However, Mavis tells him and the rest of his guild that Gray winning this fight is still uncertain, but that it is vital that he wins; since Rufus is the key to Sabertooth's strategy. Gray though, manages to utilize all of his new-found abilities to take out Rufus, earning Team Fairy Tail a point and thus greatly pleasing Warren.

Warren's reaction to Mavis' miscalculation

With Gray's victory, the Fairy Tail members get excited and confident over their triumph in the games, mainly Warren, getting cocky because of his guild's first position on the ranking board. However, Mavis' strategy soon reveals a miscalculation, as Erza Scarlet meets Kagura Mikazuchi instead of Minerva. This prompts her to sadden and cry, which Makarov tries to remedy by ordering the Mages to console her immediately, much to Warren's discomfort. When the threesome between Erza, Kagura and Minerva is announced, Warren covers his face in disappointment.

During the fight between Erza and Kagura, when Kagura effortlessly beats down Erza, Warren is amazed to see that the match is so one-sided, without Kagura even having to unsheathe her sword. He later watches in shock as Kagura unsheathes her sword in fury and aims for Erza, who apologizes to her opponent.

Warren's happiness

Even with her bruises and cuts, Erza manages to rise again and take down Kagura, but before Warren can celebrate her victory, Gajeel and Rogue begin to fight in another part of the capital. During the fight, Gajeel consumes Rogue's Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic, and, seeing him do so, Warren comments on how scary he appears. However, when Gajeel uses this power-up to triumph in the fight, Warren can do nothing but cheer. Warren is later left latching on Max in fear after seeing the extents of Jura's strength through Orga's defeat. Seconds after Team Fairy Tail is announced as the winning guild, Warren is seen crying his heart out and celebrating the joyous moment.

Fiore's mages agree to dispose of the dragons

After the Grand Magic Games have come to a close, the King of Fiore accumulates all of the Mages from all guilds to acknowledge them of the impending disaster and what the Kingdom plans to do to combat against the calamity. The King continues on to request for their assistance against the remaining Dragons who survive from the Eclipse Plan, to which Warren and the rest of the Mages all agree in unison.

Later, when Makarov announces that Fairy Tail is to protect the town square from the Dragons, Warren wonders what will become of the other guilds, but Max tells him that they have been assigned to keep other areas safe. Shortly thereafter, Warren stands next to his friends as he senses an incredible amount of Magic power being released from the Eclipse Gate's location. When one of the Dragons released from the Eclipse Gate unleashes a devastating attack that rips through Crocus, Warren is taken aback by the sheer ferocity of the attack.

Atlas Flame appears before Fairy Tail

When the Dragon Atlas Flame appears in front of Fairy Tail, Warren is left in a state of shock, due to having actually seen a real Dragon. When Atlas finishes introducing itself, Warren and the entire guild are blown away by the burning Dragon's fiery Dragon's Roar. As the smoke clears, Warren is revealed to be shaken, but otherwise unharmed from Atlas Flame's attack. Later on, as the Dragon circling Crocus is attacked, causing it cry out in pain, Warren and Max look up to the sky, wondering what caused such a thing to occur. Hearing Natsu's words that encourage the Dragon Slayers to fight back against the Dragons, Warren watches as Laxus moves to confront Atlas Flame head on, and listens as he demands that they take out the other lizard-like creatures that one of the Dragons hatched shortly before. With the destruction of the Eclipse Gate, the Dragons and the Hatchlings proceed to vanish, granting Warren and the rest of the Fairy Tail Mages victory.

Warren at the Great Banquet

Shortly thereafter, Warren and the guilds that participated in the Grand Magic Games are all invited to the great banquet held by the royal family. Seeing as Levy, and several other Fairy Tail Mages, is worried that Natsu is not present, Warren reassures the pondering maiden that he probably dozed off somewhere. Seconds later, however, he is involved in the discussion of which guild Yukino should join, supporting Fairy Tail, but the small fight is soon brought to an end when Arcadios appears and announces that the King has arrived. Much to Warren's shock, Natsu has taken the King's wardrobe and crown, telling everyone present at the castle that he has become the King.

Warren returns to Magnolia Town with the rest of Fairy Tail, moved by the fact that, after coming in last place for seven years, they finally managed to win the tournament. Moments later, he is both astounded and happy to see that the people of Magnolia helped rebuild their guild's building, and welcome them back with open arms.

Eclipse Celestial Spirits arc

After Asuka is left to Natsu to babysit, Warren watches as they start a shooting contest.

After Ichiya's Handsome Perfume starts a plague in Magnolia, Warren, with the most of the guild turn into Ichiyas. Thanks to the efforts of Natsu, the plague is halted using a Deodorant Lacrima.

Sun Village arc

Talking with his guildmates in the restored guild hall, Warren becomes extremely flabbergasted when Makarov reveals that a request they've received is from Warrod Sequen, one of the Ten Wizard Saints and one of the Four Gods of Ishgar.

Tartaros arc

Warren tries to stop Natsu

Warren is put on the defensive as Elfman stares him down, believing he made googly eyes at Lisanna. Warren then, along with several others, attempts to stop Natsu from rampaging by pinning him to the floor, whilst the Dragon Slayer begs to be released in order to take revenge on Tartaros. Albeit, just like Makarov, Warren refuses as he claims that they lack intel. Before long, and after they release Natsu, Loke enters the guild and announces that he knows the location of several former councilors, leading Makarov to form teams and send them out in order to protect Tartaros' targets. Warren stands beside his companions as they cheer in joy when Makarov declares war on Tartaros.

Fairy Tail begins its counterattack

Warren and the others are later contacted via Communications Lacrima by Lucy, and he is told that Michello was successfully protected and that Natsu defeated a member of Tartaros. As the Fairy Tail Mages attempt to locate the former Council chairman, Warren tells Makarov that they've found the addresses of all sixteen former Council members and that they've succeeded in getting the other local guilds to help protect the rest. After the teams return from their mission to track down the former Council members, Warren and the other guild members worriedly discuss the whereabouts of Natsu, Elfman, Lisanna, Mirajane and Erza. When Happy returns to the guild, he reveals that the former chairman is allied with Tartaros, as well as the fact that Natsu, Erza and Mirajane have all been taken as prisoners, which spreads panic upon the guild and triggers Warren's disbelief. Warren then witnesses Levy saying that she will definitely find Tartaros' hideout, as well as Elfman's return from his mission. He looks on as Elfman expresses his incapability to save Lisanna and Yuri, and later turns his attention towards Cana as she snaps at Elfman for not handling the situation. Later, with a shocked expression etched onto his face, Warren learns that Levy has located Tartaros' headquarters; they are directly above them. However, the guild is then encompassed in an explosion; Warren and the rest of the guild members are saved by Cana, who traps them all in her Magic Cards. Warren and the rest of the guild are then flown by Happy, Carla and Panther Lily to Undercube, where Cana releases them, thereby allowing Fairy Tail to begin its counterattack.

Warren informs the guild of Mirajane's safety

During the battle, Warren looks on as Erza emerges into the scene by creating a giant hole throughout Cube, astonishing him and the other guild members. Warren screams Erza's name in relief as he sees her landing. The Fairy Tail Mages then proceed to go through the breach Erza created in order to reach the upper part of Cube. He later is able to make telepathic contact with the entire guild, letting them all know that Mirajane is safe with his group. He then relays Lucy's message to the guild explaining that Wendy and Carla were able to destroy Face, and Happy's message to Makarov about meeting Hades' spirit and the former master's advice to "release the light". Before their conversation can continue, Mard Geer hijacks the mental link and causes Warren to fall unconscious from the pain. He is then sucked into the surface of the mobile island alongside the rest of the guild; left to be petrified in the stone. Later, courtesy of the Celestial Spirit King, Warren and the others are freed from Alegria.

Warren and the others reunite with Lucy

Afterward, Warren and the group he is with (consisting of the Take Over siblings, Jet, and Droy) are attacked by clones of the deceased Lamy; one such clone asks Warren if there are any attractive men in his guild, to which he responds that she's looking at one. Soon after, he hears a loud roar off in the distance. While Warren still has his hands full fighting the Lamy models, he is shocked to hear that the presence he heard is in fact Acnologia. Warren stands behind a wall as the others defeat the many Lamys, angering Jet. Eventually, however, their group reunites with Lucy and Wendy. Moments later, Warren listens to Makarov, who speaks to everyone via telepathy, as he states that Lumen Histoire is a secret weapon of their own.

Warren is then ordered to return to the guild's basement, as Makarov intends to reveal their secret weapon. After Face begins to activate, Warren states his telepathy is not working. However, the Dragons return and give everyone the courage to fight as they destroy Face and claim victory. Shortly thereafter, Warren and the others come face to face with the Dragons that destroyed Face, the group joyously cheering as the Dragons applaud the Mages for their efforts. Albeit, they eventually announce that their time on Earth Land will soon come to an end, as their souls were extracted from their bodies long ago by Acnologia. As they spread their wings and fly into the skies, they bid farewell to those watching them. A week later at the ruins of the Fairy Tail Guild, Jet states that the town had just rebuilt the guild for them, to which Warren replies it makes him feel like saying "not again".

Avatar arc

One year after Fairy Tail's disbandment, Warren joins the rest of the guild as they reunite in Magnolia, and he proudly tells everyone that the Miniature Communication Lacrima was his invention.

Alvarez Empire arc

Warren back in Fairy Tail

During Fairy Tail's reconstruction effort, Warren plays with his communication Lacrima, telling a concerned Laki that in time, Makarov would come back to the guild on his own. When Makarov returns to the rebuilt guild, having been brought back by the two rescue teams, Warren and the other guild members throw a party for celebration. During the party, Makarov attracts everyones attention by apologizing for his failed mission; Warren denies this, saying that his actions were meant to protect them. After Natsu's declaration of war, when Makarov shouts that Alvarez will regret challenging their family, Warren howls out alongside his comrades, readying himself for the upcoming battle. Soon after, Mavis appears, intending to tell Warren and the others about Fairy Heart, as well as of her relationship and past with Zeref.

After Mavis finishes her story, Warren is shocked to learn that Fairy Heart is an infinite supply of Magic Power. The First Master then gets upset over dragging everyone into battle, but everyone agrees that it's not her fault. Afterwards, the topic of Zeref's immortality is brought up, and Natsu mentions that his right arm is something that can do the job, but he refuses to tell what it is. Shortly after, Warren listens as Makarov goes over all the information he gathered about the Alvarez Empire. Some time later, Warren uses his Magic Radar to track down the possible attempts of invasion. After locating noone initially, Warren, along with all the other Mages in Magnolia, feels a sudden blow before getting greatly shocked to see that a large number of enemies is coming their way, albeit by air, being the reason why they weren't located immediately in the first place. As Mavis tells everyone to prepare, Ajeel of the Spriggan 12 commences the empire's assault on Fairy Tail. With the attack under way, Mavis orders Warren to send out Osprey and Flying Dragon Squads and he issues the order for them to attack.

Warren is harshly brought out of his breakdown by Max

Warren eventually sees Erza come face-to-face with Ajeel via monitoring from the guild, and mentions that if they deal with the current forces, their morale will go up and they'll be able to take the rest of the invasion forces on. Warren then later notices that a hole has been ripped through Freed's Jutsu Shiki by a member of the Spriggan 12 who can nullify barriers. Warren then detects another member of the Spriggan 12 within the city limits, but his hope fades as he detects two massive fleets numbering three hundred each, with three members of the Spriggan 12 aboard each fleet, approaching from the north and south. Upon revealing that a force of over one million with the last three members of the Spriggan 12 is coming from the east, Warren breaks down into tears. In a state of mental collapse, Warren does not relay Mavis' query to the Osprey Squad, but he is snapped back into reality by Max and contacts the Osprey Squad, where Bisca reveals that only five minutes remain on Jupiter's recharge time. After telling her to save the guild, Warren and Max bicker over the inappropriate way in which Max grabbed his attention. Later, Warren celebrates the guild's victories against Wall Eehto and Brandish.

After the explosion at Kardia Cathedral that incapacitated Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki and the Thunder God Tribe, Warren alerts the guild to a rapidly approaching heat signature coming from the south directly for the guild, unsure of whether it is a single individual or Magic. As Mavis realizes it to be a single, magic barrage, she orders Freed to recast his Jutsu Shiki barrier to which Warren informs her that Freed nor the rest of the Thunder God Tribe are responding. As the barrage comes closer Warren counts down how far away the spell is before impact. When all hope seems lost however, Ichiya intercepts the incoming barrage with Christina, saving the guild hall from destruction.

Warren reports the fall of Bosco

As the second day of the war dawns on Magnolia Town, the guild remains upbeat despite the previous days casualties, because of the other guilds joining the fray. Later on, Warren informs the guild about intelligence he's just received; the entirety of the Guilds of Bosco have been wiped out by the now stationary eastern Alvarez Empire forces. Warren goes on to explain that Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus are heading to intercept the northern invading forces and that Mermaid Heel and Lamia Scale are heading south to retake the captured town of Hargeon. Mavis decides to reinforce the two groups, then asks Warren if he was able to contact the eastern defensive line, to which Warren confirms that he was able to do so, commenting that they are Fiore's finest; the Four Gods of Ishgar. Warren then informs the guild of Natsu charging straight through the enemy lines all the way to Zeref.

The next day, Warren keeps track of the movement of the enemies' forces as well as their own. He informs Mavis that the western army has stopped its advance, while the battle to the north is in a state of stagnation. However, despair covers his face as he states that the Shields of Spriggan to the east have broken through the defensive line, suffering only a single loss, only for him to rejoice alongside his guildmates when the radar shows the defeat of one of the Spriggan 12 to the south, although Makarov soon grounds them in reality by mentioning the defenseless state of the eastern and western frontiers. Later, with the defeat of Dimaria, Warren tells his guildmates that another of the Spriggan 12's signals has vanished, but as they rejoice, Jacob Lessio arrives in the guild, taking them all by surprise. After he reveals that the Mage August has falsified their locations on his radar, Jacob demands a drink, but when he is refused one, he uses his Magic to erase Warren and everyone else in the guild. According to Jacob, Warren and everyone else who was affected by his Magic is alive, but extremely wounded. Although, successfully tricking Jacob, Lucy summons Gemini to copy Marin's Spatial Magic and return everyone from the alternate dimension. Promptly after, Makarov punches the Shield of Spriggan away and sends Natsu flying to him, who finishes him off with Fire Dragon King's Demolition Fist, delighting everyone to see another of the Spriggan 12 being taken care of.

Later, as some Mages are repairing the part of the building Makarov destroyed, Warren remarks that his Radar is malfunctioning, Max recalling Jacob mentioning it as August's doing. With everyone seriously concerned about the Wizard King approaching, Max requests Mavis' wisdom to aid them, only for everyone to get surprised not to find her and wonder where she could be. Later, Warren witnesses Brandish offer to try to negotiate a ceasefire with August, his initial shock turning into joy as her words are a ray of hope in their dire predicament. Some while later, Warren, along with the others at the guild, bears witness to an intense light coming from August's approximate location in the east. Shortly thereafter, the guild is caught in the light of Universe One; after the light subsides, Warren finds that he and most of his guildmates have been transported to the sea, after which he checks his Magic Radar to see where they are, but becomes confused at what he sees. As an army of Alvarez's soldiers appears nearby and his friends prepare for battle, Warren, now aghast, learns that Fiore's entire geography has changed.

During the ensuing battle, Warren continue to try and find the guild to no avail, until, that is, a voice telepathically contacts all Fairy Tail members and not only tells them where the guild is, but to go and protect Mavis as well. After hearing the voice, Warren deduces that the guild is located to the north, and under Makarov's order, he and the rest of the guild push through the enemy's ranks and make their way to Mavis and the guild.

Warren and his guildmates eventually make their way to the new location of the guild building, where they do battle with the occupying Alvarez army. When faced with the might of God Serena, Gildarts reappears to stop the Spriggan 12 member from harming his guildmates, which causes Warren to rejoice. Then, when Gildarts defeats God Serena and opens a path for Fairy Tail to move forward, Warren charges alongside his comrades. However, faced with the sheer number of soldiers against them, Warren and the others face dwindling stamina; in light of this, Erza cuts a path open for them to continue forward.

Their advance is cut short by Irene's use of Berserker, which turns all the Alvarez soldiers into extremely strong, mindless warriors that greatly overwhelm Erza, which shocks Warren, before they turn their attention to all of Fairy Tail. Warren and the others are then assaulted by the Berserkers until Makarov forfeits his life to cast Fairy Law and save them, which leaves Warren heartbroken. Not long after, as many across the battlefield are subject to Larcade's Pleasure, Warren remains unaffected. A bit later, due to Irene's death, Universe One is undone, and as the light envelops the land and Fiore is returned to normal, Warren, at Mavis' behest, grabs her hand to prevent separation. When the light subsides, Warren is elated to find that they are in Magnolia, but is warned by the Thunder God Tribe not to let his guard down, as they still have enemies attacking them. He then readies to sortie under Mavis' new plan.

Magic & Abilities

Warren while using Telepathy

Telepathy (念話(テレパシー) Terepashī): A Caster Magic that allows one to converse mind-to-mind. In battle, it's possible for Warren to read his opponent's mind, so he can predict their movements. His skill in this area can also be used to allow others to telepathically contact each other with him as a liaison; and if necessary, Warren can even conduct mass communication on a wide range of effect, as seen when he contacted the scattered members of Fairy Tail throughout Magnolia. However, Warren's telepathy can also overload him if too many people try to talk through his telepathy at once, or someone brazenly screams in his ear while using him to send out a telepathic message. Warren can also use his Magic to overwhelm his target's mind with telepathic noise.

Equipment

Surveillance Lacrima (監視魔水晶(ラクリマ) Kanshi Rakurima): Warren possess a set of head-like Surveillance Lacrima, which he used to investigate Balsamico Castle.

Miniature Communication Lacrima (小型通信魔水晶(ラクリマ) Kogata Tsūshin Rakurima): A type of Lacrima invented by Warren, that resembles a modern smart phone, which allows one to have an audio conversation with other people who hold the same type of Lacrima.

Magic Radar (魔導レーダー Mahō Rēdā): Warren uses the Magic Radar as a scanner to locate a Mage(s) within its measuring radius by detecting their Magic power. According to Warren, it is a highly sensitive device, which has a handheld portion that connects through a cord to a larger screen display.

As a student of Fairy Academy, Warren is in one of Lucy's classes and is present when Gray falls for one of Natsu's pranks, commenting on Natsu's cruelty towards Gray.

Warren watches in anticipation for Happy to try and transform into Lucy, due to the fact that since Happy does not wear clothes then neither would anyone he transforms into. Unfortunately for Warren, Happy's transformation is unsuccessful, much to his disappointment; though he is excited again when Mirajane transforms into a half naked Lucy.

Upon seeing Lucy enter the guilds' indoor pool, Warren excitingly invites her in.

Welcome to Fairy Hills!!

At the guild, Warren is talking to a another guild member. Later, he and the other men of Fairy Tail clean the pool behind the guild. While cleaning, Warren and the others notice a peeping hole which leads to an underground room under the pool. Warren and the others then take turns looking through the periscope and Gray sees Makarov, who has lost his swimsuit in the pool. Due to the awful sight, he and the others panic and destroy the room along with the pool.

The Exciting Ryuzetsu Land

Hearing about the popular resort known as Ryuzetsu Land, Warren is immediately excited about the opportunity to go. Once there, he and Max hang out, initially watching Wendy play with Sherria Blendy until Max suggests he look elsewhere. While he enjoys his time, everything comes to a halt as the resort is destroyed by the antics of his fellow guild members. In the aftermath of the destruction, Warren is seen lying unconscious in the rubble.
