- Recent changes is a great first stop, because you can see what pages other people have been editing, and where you can help.
- Questions? You can ask on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
- Don't know what to do? We have many Projects on the wiki, like the Referencing Project and the Fight Summary Project, feel free to join and help out!
- Here are some more pages you might find useful:
- Policy - follow this to ensure harmony on the wiki
- Sign your name in discussions by typing ~~~~, which automatically adds your signature and the date, so we know who's talking!
For referencing purposes, can you tell the source of those names for the japanese voices?20:09, September 5, 2011 (UTC)
That's fine and yes, it would be best.20:18, September 5, 2011 (UTC)
I don't know. I hadn't joined the wiki when that episode came out... I hadn't even heard about Fairy Tail when that episode came out! lol20:26, September 5, 2011 (UTC)
In order to update fight pages you must be a member of the Fight Summary Guild.19:11, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
I didn't undo your edit because it was a bad edit, but because you cut it down TOO much. It's fine if you edit and cut it down a little to make it easy to read and understand. Just don't cut it TOO much because cutting it down too much messed up the placement of the images and the Magic and Abilities section. So what you were doing was great! just go easy on the cutting.03:16, November 8, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for understanding. About capitalizations, Mage and Magic should be capitalized as they are Important Terms. Guilds sometimes should be capitalized (like if you are saying Fairy Tail Guild) and sometimes should't (like if you are saying: then Team NAtsu returned to the guild). This message was sent from my school computer XD 17:07, November 8, 2011 (UTC)
Immblueversion, you've been on this wiki FAR too long not to know how it works by now. You've suggested dozens of name changes on this site so I know you know how it is supposed to be done. We never just change names without discussion. If it's Bozu, then you need to make a section on the talk page for the community to discuss it. Don't just change it. I expect this never to happen again. ✦Rai✦03:36,6/19/2012
No need to apologize, I understand completely. I just had to make sure you weren't jumping the gun. No hard feelings. And O_O...sounds bad, XD. ✦Rai✦05:47,6/19/2012
Hi There :)
|Please read this message!|
|Hello SubZeroSilver, please note that we have an Image Policy that you need to follow whenever you upload and add images to articles. All images must have a Fair Use Rationale (or FUR) and a License. Here are some steps in adding those two to images: (Note that when uploading images, it's better to use Special:Upload as it will make adding the FUR and license easier.)
Failure to follow this policy may result in you being blocked. If you are still having trouble with images, please leave me a message on my talk page. I am more than happy to help. Thank you! 23:32, June 30, 2012 (UTC)
Didn't you read Klodoa's talk page? I said there:
I have an update. Apparently, the note that appears at the end of the volumes assuring that Mashima provided the names did not show up in either Volume 18 or Volume 19 so for the moment we won't be updating names, thanks for telling us about them though. :3
I can assure you that it's not a matter of not believing you. You've proven yourself very trustworthy. Thanks for following up on this issue though. It's really appreciated. :) ✦Rai✦17:05,7/14/2012
Well, to be honest, I don't really pay much attention to the voice actors because I can't read Japanese and as such, there's really no way for me to confirm or deny any voice actors. I'd say remove Reedus and Zoldeo for now and then open up a community discussion on a talk page or forum and we can get this whole mess sorted out. If you don't feel like starting the discussion then I'd be more than willing to for you. And if you do start it, alert me, so I can add it to the Quick News and Sorcerer Magazine listings. ✦Rai✦18:36,11/19/2012
Hi. Do not remove the voice actors without a prior discussion. Thanks. Just because you open a discussion, it doesn't mean you can remove them.20:22, November 19, 2012 (UTC)
Oops. I just read the message above ( ._.).20:23, November 19, 2012 (UTC)
Hello there, I noticed you recently made an addition to a character's page with the newest content. While it definitely isn't against the rules, it would be preferred if the utmost newest content can be handled by the special team we have here at the Fairy Tail Wiki dedicated to ensuring all of the character pages are updated in due time. It would help less complicate the system we have going on. We greatly appreciate your support.
Happy editing! 20:22, June 7, 2013 (UTC)
Hello, could you please leave updating character pages based on the latest chapter to the Lightning Update Tribe as linked above? The members all earn points by completing the updates and risk being kicked out of the team if they do not complete their jobs even if someone takes their job for them--
Again, thank you for your help but as said earlier, it is preferred that the designated users should update the pages. If the appropriate updates were not made after a significant amount of time, our tally system will not be affected and will be fair game for anyone to edit without complications. Thank you.

Ah, P.S, if you're willing to take the liberty of updating the pages, please ensure you have proofread, fixed any spelling mistakes and appropriately referenced, as I noticed you made a few typos, left out some essential involvement and referenced the wrong chapter. Thank you!10:09, June 15, 2013 (UTC)
I know someone has already asked Chaos about the kanji and romanji for those three characters. However, please wait for confirmation before adding anything. Also, the kanji and romanji you were adding look nothing like the ones from the RAW chapter. >_>

I will ask for my own benefit: Was there a discussion held for the renaming of the page from Light Team to Allied Forces?
- Yes, though IamJakuhoRaikoben was the only one who responded, and said they were okay with it. I did bring up how 連合軍 (Rengōgun, lit. "Allied Forces") was the name used in the Japanese version, and was frequently used in the English dub of the anime, while "Light Team" seemed to be more of a fan term. I noticed that you add a lot of the wikipedia voice actors to our articles. Thank you! But I just want to let you know that you can always add :
and not the whole thing.
Here. Enjoy! :D

Re: Kodansha name spellings
Hey there! Yeah, I didn't really find any other difference from Crunchyroll to the Kodansha publication. If there were any, I'd bring them up but otherwise, they seem to have been consistent.
The deal between the two is that Crunchyroll does their own translations and then sends it over to Kodansha for proofreading. I believe sometime between the two releases is when Kodansha decides on fixing anything they may not feel comfortable with from the Crunchy translations.
Alright, I'll fix up the page lol I mean, you could easily do it yourself, it would make great practice.. but I'll just get it out of the way lol
See ya around!

Never mind bro lol all good, all good05:10, February 13, 2016 (UTC)
Hello SubZero, I wanted to know if you can proofread Timelapse as I'm not sure if it's meant to be as is or as Mangastream calls it "Ravines of Time". Would it be better to go with what Crunchyroll states it is? My japanese is medicore but Ravines of Time/Narrow of Time is closer than Timelapse. Can you provide the translation from Crunchy? Thank you! :)--SageSlayer (talk) 01:42, April 9, 2017 (UTC)
if possible can you add the kanji/romaji for White Tiger? If you need the video where he says it let me know but I don't have the actual japanese script. Thanks-- 13:08, August 4, 2017 (UTC)
Article on Mashima's "Fairy Tail" one-shot pilot?
I get what you're saying but the closest thing this wiki did is to add those infos on the characterter's trivia just check natsu's trivia section where it mentioned "In the short-story version of Fairy Tail, Natsu wasn't a human, but a spirit with horns." so i believe you can just do that to all the characters inspired by the short story and just follow the format used on natsu's page.
Even though mashima himself said it was the inspiration for his fairy tail series its still not part of the fairy tail manga so there's no need to make an article page about it. Just like how plue and jellal are mainly seen as inspired by rave this info was added into their trivia section but rave itself doesnt have an article in this wiki.
The closest thing this wiki did concerning a diff manga is when a crossover happened and those crossover characters will have their own page created while only using the info shown in the crossover manga or episode just look for Hana Adachi, Meliodas & Haru's page.01:31, April 23, 2018 (UTC)
Oh yeah it does exist XD, I wasn't able to search it earlier, so since that article exist then i think its ok to make a page about fairy tale. I think the rules about creating articles hasn't change so feel free to make the page and just heavily follow the rave master page format for consistency.03:41, April 23, 2018 (UTC)
I believe that its already good as it is since its more similar to the Rave Master page and its role to the fairy tail series than the fairy tail spin offs which based are on fairy tail itself and not the other way around. 13:50, April 23, 2018 (UTC)
Good Day SubZeroSilver, I saw that you've been updating some Kanji in various pages and i appreciate the help. Im just curious coz in some edits like this you mentioned that the source was chapter 517 and i was wondering if that same kanji was ever used again whenever wendy uses her magic or its just a one time thing? coz now we have an inconsistency throughout the wiki since majority of pages uses the older translation while the main page uses a different translation, if its a one time thing i think for uniformity we should just stick the the older translation, if its the new name that mashima started using then we can keep the updated name in the main magic page and just use the older translation with the rest of the wiki for uniformity especially when we don't have enough people to update every kanji in the wiki. 01:39, August 1, 2018 (UTC)
can you add the kanji and romaji for Ash Magic thanks-- 16:53, September 19, 2018 (UTC)
Hi there! Could you please tell me where do you get the chapter dates for City Hero, and the raw titles? Because I found this online, which is a slightly different timeline than the one you added. I don't know where does this manga serialize so I can't figure out when it could be coming out.

Hmm, to tell you the truth, we do not have solid evidence that the releases on Sorcerer Weekly (SW) (the only site that actually translated the chapters as I found) which are the one Baka-Updates listed are 100% correct, but we do know for sure that they're much much more likely to be. Because, for an example, the pocket site says the the 6th chapter releases today on the 30th, while in actuality, the 7th chapter just got released on SW, and every chapter there has an earlier publication date there than the ones in the pocket site - except the 1st, and its logically impossible for such an online site to get hold on chapters before they're released to the public. Furthermore, fan-sites tend to be, for the most part, pretty accurate and consistent. Plus, with the exception of Chs 1&2, every two chapters there have a constant one week in-between, signifying a constant weekly release. My best guess is that, the pocket site acts....kinda like Crunchyroll. The first chapter was released simultaneously on 26/10 everywhere, then the second got on the 29th, but the pocket waited till the 2nd to post it, and from then it releases chapa bit later than the actual date (Maybe even the chapters we're seeing now are just because we're not subscribed or sth - like the free-for-view chapters? Or that chapters go on the mobile app itself first, then on this site later, a good thing to do is to wait until the 7th goes up there and is free to read). It's definitely not clear but I assume it's safe to adapt the release dates of SW as the authentic ones.
PS I tried contacting the SW to get further info anyway.

hello, can you provide kanji/romaji for the following pages
thanks! --02:06, May 1, 2019 (UTC)
Good Day SubZeroSilver, whenever you're free can you check these categories and add or double check their Kanji/Romaji, no need to do it immediately at least you can check on them from time to time. If it is possible thanks in advance. 03:34, August 1, 2019 (UTC)
Official 100 Years Quest translations
Good Day SubZeroSilver, Since you have access to the official translations is it possible for us to change them one at a time instead of implementing all the changes in one go, maybe you can give me a list of the official translations and i can implement them one by one that way it wont be all over the place and we can focus on one translation at a time as well as updating all the spellings on various pages that mentions Ermina, Guiltina and so on.16:41, August 1, 2019 (UTC)
Also kindly slow down a bit when making multiple talkpage messages about changing the spellings coz its will be hard to manage all of them especially since we have limited active editors so for now feel free to compile everything in my talkpage, at least them being in one location will be easier to see and manage.16:49, August 1, 2019 (UTC)
Ok i think im done updating everything related to Guiltena & Ermina but the wiki hasn't updated the changes yet so even if i search the words Giltena & Elmina it still pops up so I will double check again later, as for touka & the five dragon gods i'll do all the changes once Giltena & Elmina has been cleared all over the wiki.17:37, August 1, 2019 (UTC)
I believe i've updated all of them, feel free to update me if i missed anything & if there are new official translations that needs to be implemented.10:23, August 2, 2019 (UTC)
Ah... I kind of figured it was Monthly Fairy Tail. Honestly, that magazine gave us some rather questionable information (such as Sting's Magic being Light Dragon Slayer Magic, which we know is wrong...) so, I'd also have my eyebrow raised over Hono no Metsuryu in this case...22:03, October 17, 2019 (UTC)
Re: Image Request
HELLO! First of all sorry for the late reply as I rarely visit anymore, anyhow, if I'm understanding this correctly, I have to point out that that logo for Happy's Adv isn't edited or anything (I haven't really improved my skills to that level...XP) its just a cropped portion of the the series' first chapter, which was full-colored, so it kinda resembled the logos of the FT Gaiden spinoffs and it just worked.
If the image you uploaded was really the same type that is used in 100Q and so, then the violation might have been just the fair use form or the license imputed wrong, maybe it was a quality issue? Better check with Misk if he was the one who removed it to see.
