|Welcome to Fairy Tail Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the User:LightningGeist page, and thanks for joining our community! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.
is a great first stop, because you can see what pages other people have been editing, and where you can help.
While I was checking Coco and Mystogan's page, their use of Legion is listed differently, where Coco has it under magic and abilities as Legion Rider, but Mystogan has it under Equipment as Bird/Legion. What should it be then?10:59, 15 October 2020 (UTC)

Replacement Wiki Manager
Heya LightningGeist, I'm Alex, the new Wiki Manager for Fairy Tail Wiki since Neffyarious is unfortunately no longer working at Fandom. I can assist you as he did, particularly if you've had any issues with the migration to UCP — if there are any outstanding issues that have arisen or feedback you'd like to report I'd be more than happy to assist you with that. You can contact me here or on Discord @
If it isn't the JS issue, then it's very probable that the
togglers JS present in MediaWiki:Common.js is not compatible with UCP in its current state without some tweaks or a rewrite. However, that kind of JS is generally advised against. Unless you are using nested switch templates anywhere (i.e. switch inside switch), what I can do is rebuild your switch template to use
<tabber>, & use CSS to make it appear identical to the way it appears now everywhere outside Infoboxes. Then I could modify your Infoboxes so that they'll interpret the tabbers as image tabs, which are fully mobile-friendly in a way the current setup is not. Again, with CSS to keep the look identical to the way it is now. I've done this procedure on a variety of wikis such as Hunter X Hunter (example of rebuilt switch). Would you be interested in this solution?
I think I'll be able to take care of it all for you, but I'll let you know if any blockers come up 👍🏻 Just keep in mind it may be later in the week when I get around to it, hope there's no rush.
Not sure why they can't scroll, working for me, but I just added some CSS to fix the overflow issue. Some broken avatars were displaying way larger than they should have been, which was warping the table everything's contained within. Clear cache to see the fix.
All the examples you sent me are fixed, although if you notice any "switch" templates that I missed please let me know & I can rebuild 'em. Further, take a look at these two edits — you should perform this action for all the Portable Infoboxes on the wiki that have images going inside
<navigation> tags. By switching to
<image>, the Portable Infoboxes will interpret the new tabbers as Infobox galleries, which not only makes 'em look a bit better in desktop but also significantly improves the mobile experience for images. If you can take care of that I think I'd say the JS tabs issue would be completely resolved.
Ah yeah those are some I missed, thanks for pointing them out — they should all be fixed now.
Glad it's resolved, & yeah, Animaltamer7's explanation of the tracking category is pretty accurate.
It's good that it's resolved itself. If you see it again, try
?action=purge on the page ( ). That should resolve the issue, but if not then wait a bit to see if it returns again — it may be more intermittent issues that'll get resolved in time. If it stays broken for an extended period of time, & purging does not work, contact me & I'll be happy to take a look.
guess the editing isn't as bad as before, you can use auto fill again cause it would of been annoying if you couldn't lol. Can you ask that wiki manager about fixing the main page twitter sliding tabs, it won't let me scroll up and down to look at hiro's or the anime's twitter. Good looks bro21:16, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
oh ok cool some of the infoboxes still are busted though like in Rift in Space and Time, anyway they can fix that? 07:21, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
i know the top part of faris' profile isn't norm but it's no real reason to create page for the original since it's likely just a reference so that's the only reason I put it there, I fixed it up and bolded some stuff so make it more sound, let me know about that
also i meant to ask since there are "dragon god" techs now that we have dragon god's brillant flame and dragon god's fang I was gonna update the brillant flame one, just gonna add ds magic to the info box along with fire ds and fire gs magic while moving it down natsu's magic section as a standalone spell since it's no reason to add general ds magic to natsu's info tab, basically similar to how sink or blast is on august's page, thoughts?22:25, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
can you ask the wiki mangaer to fix this pages on this section https://fairytail.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Pages_with_reference_errors 09:50, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
Hey Lightning, I'm wondering how the wiki got it's wiki activity back after this ucp migration.04:42, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
Okay thanks for your help.05:37, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
You're welcome, found that weird category happening at the GGGnK wiki so it was a relatively easy fix. I'm okay with not being promoted though, besides I know a way to revert more than one edits, even if it's not by a single click.13:26, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
I wouldn't even know where to find it bro, the method you're doing is fine13:41, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
I need help
Well, I am looking for someone who knows "AuroraOfDeath", if you are anyone else who knows and is still contacts with him, inform me right away. I really need help with something. Sonic2479 (talk) 2:20, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
White arts/white magic
yo as dumb as it sounds I think we have to flip white magic page > white arts and vice versa, neither the anime or manga have made a difference in the two (white arts in jpn is majutsu/white magic in jpn is maho but there's no difference unlike black magic/arts). Can you contact subzerosilver for his opinion on it, I'm trying to see if we should flip or merge white arts/magic page10:15, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
yeah I ain't gonna touch it, it sucks cause japanese people get the differences but they translate it the same for other languages. Only hope is the anime makes a difference04:19, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
Can you create a general elentir navigation tab, just so we can stick elentir-related there. Also feel free to chose a color for the character template for elentir people14:56, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
Hi there, I've been looking at a few FT gameplay of past games and I was wondering if you or anyone knew a way to translate spell names in these videos. —This unsigned comment was made by Striker10 (talk • contribs) .
Well thank you, I'll see to them then. Also, can anyone figure out what the spell "Beast Arm-Ringyuu" means cause there's no kanji for it. It's one of Elfman's spells in the first Portable Guild game, I know "gyuu" means "bull" but the "Rin" part is still unclear, I don't know if it's a new spell or an unnamed existing one which would be Beast Arm: Stone Bull.Striker10 (talk) 22:15, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
Is it now? There is no romanji on the Scale Bull page so it was no way to tell. I was really hoping it be the Stone Bull one just so we get an official name. Thanks again for your time and help.Striker10 (talk) 11:12, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
