Video game Unison Raids
These are the names of all Unison Raids in the game, not counting Holy Shadow Dragon's Flash Fang:
- Natsu & Lucy - Phoenix offImpact (フェニックスインパクト Fenikkusu Inpakuto)
- Natsu & Gray - Brilliant Flame / Gungnir (火竜の煌炎＋グングニル Karyū no Kōen + Gunguniru)
- Natsu & Gajeel - Fire Dragon Roar + Iron Dragon Roar (火竜の咆哮＋鉄竜の咆哮 Karyū no Hōkō + Tetsuryū no Hōkō)
- Lucy & Juvia - Hydro Screw (檄流砕波 Haidoro Sukuryū).
- Gray & Juvia - Water Nebula / Ice-Make: Ice Geyser (水流昇霞＋氷欠泉 Wōtā Nebura + Aisu Geizā)
- Erza & Mirajane - Rampant Demonic Blade (魔人繚乱剣 Majin Ryōran Ken)
- Erza & Kagura - Sword Flash: Union Stance (剣閃 「絆」の型 Kensen: "Kizuna" no Kata)
- Erza & Jellal - Grand Chariot (七星剣 Guran Shario)
- Wendy & Sherria - Leading Sky Arrow / Trailing Sky Arrow (天空甲矢＆天空乙矢 Tenkū Haya & Tenkū Otoya)
I suppose Hydro Screw counts as the official name of Lucy and Juvia's Unison Raid in the manga, and that we could make a Unison Raid variant for Grand Chariot on the page if we can't make a new one. I can also verify that the "Geyser" in Ice-Make: Ice Geyser is and has always been ゲイザー Gaizā in Japanese, not ガイザー Geizā. SubZeroSilver (talk) 11:05, August 5, 2020 (UTC)

in the anime's ep 191, the rogue of the future doesn't use White Shadow Dragon's Roar, he uses White Shadow Dragon's Rough Silk before being stopped by the ultear.
good night. i just posted the images you asked for, check if they are in accordance with the wiki guidelines and sorry for the quality but they were the best i got (the spin is bad to take print).
Anime-exclusive Acnologia full name
I've just found a blog that says the anime-exclusive Acnologia had a full name, Proton Acnologia (プロトン・アクノロギア Puroton Akunorogia), but it doesn't say where it comes from, and there aren't many other sites that mention it. All I can say is that this blog has a long history of being very reliable when it comes to information about Fairy Tail, such as the names of the Garou Knights before they were officially revealed in the next chapter since they were part of a drawing contest (it also mentions that Cosmos's name was originally "Fione"). SubZeroSilver (talk) 16:38, August 5, 2020 (UTC)
yo bro I think we should change lightning ds magic > thunder ds magic. 3 sources, funimation subtitles, manga, and game all go with thunder and I can't find any official source that said lightning ds magic outside of Laxus' guild card that says he can use most forms of lightning magic, that's already listed on his magic box. It's hella spells i think we can get joebot to do and we'll just clean up after, what you think?--04:23, August 9, 2020 (UTC)
https://s1.mangabeast01.com/manga/Fairy-Tail/0350-001.png yeah we should change that too, idk how we overlooked this for so long, I guess it's cause how sherria's name used to be translated by the fansubs as "chelia".. anime subs that are being used now are from crunchy/funimation now instead of fan subs -- 04:49, August 9, 2020 (UTC)
exactly, just like red lightning won't change either. it makes sense thinking of it cause a spell like thunder palace was never called lightning palace even know it uses the same kanji/romaji--04:56, August 9, 2020 (UTC)
i thought the same but compare the kanji to the other ones, the romaji is the same but it's meant to be in a different tone in japaense due to the writing so so I guess it's supposed to "style" instead of "form". koei tecmo is doing some updates like fixing spelling mistakes and cana's name but this seems accurate giving the small difference--06:10, August 9, 2020 (UTC)
I don't agree with this because I've also seen multiple translations in both the anime and manga where they refer it as Lightning, even now during the 100YQ. The fact that they both translate to the same character 雷 could mean that both are just as true, even "Lightning Magic" has the character in it so it could just as easily translate to "Thunder Magic" in some cases. but I believe it should remain as lighting for English because it's the more specific way to describe their abilities, we see Laxus control lighting itself but not thunder.
The fundamental difference between Lighting and thunder is that lighting is energy and plasma while thunder is just sound, in fact thunder is simply the noise that lighting makes, "lighting" being the main source while "thunder" is only a side effect.
yeah i'm not saying you're wrong G but the official manga uses thunder, funimation subtitles in the anime uses thunder, and the game uses thunder. What you might of read is fan translation manga and anime subs before, it's like how we had sherria's name wrong for awhile. It's why japanese is so hard but there's no official source outside crunchy roll subtitles that used Lightning before in reference. When you have 3 official sources (manga, anime, game) using something majority rules. And in the same breath look at what I told LG look at the kanji/romaji for thunder palace. It's similar and We never called it "lightning palace'. So yeah bro I get it but honestly the wiki is so outdated in a lot of shit that the RPG is really helping us fix it. Hope you understand and appericate the help, --13:31, August 9, 2020 (UTC)
Might I also add that there were other things that we had wrong for the longest time, like Charles for Carla or Cuberos for Cubellious. It will take time, but we should get used to it being Thunder Dragon Slayer Magic. Also, just to note that lot of series in media normally mix lightning and thunder together.14:00, August 9, 2020 (UTC)
Sorry I couldn't respond sooner, my electricity was out. I don't know much Japanese writing, sometimes one thing can mean multiple things, so I assumed thunder and lighting meant the same in Japanese because they both use the same character. Unless you can distinguish both, like you mentioned one of Laxus' spells was is written as as "Thunder Palace" instead of "Lightning Palace". If it's the same for "Thunder Dragon Slayer Magic" and "Lighting Dragon Slayer Magic" in the difference in writing, then I won't complain.
It just bothered me a bit cause I'm a kind of OCD. If "Thunder" is really what the author actually intended then that rules out everything, I'll even help out and encourage it if needed. Can you also give me a link the official manga?Striker10 (talk) 11:36, August 10, 2020 (UTC)
Hey, just dropping by.
I am not exactly kept up with things, but for the sake of clarity, can y'all reference any new namings that come from the game as such? It is important to point out when information comes from a secondary source, for example, I believe there are some names that came only from FT Monthly Magazine and ChaosKnight referenced them as such. Also, I hope I do not need to stress this, but obviously manga takes priority over the anime or the game, so any names or information from the latter two should be ignored in favor of the former. (i.e. do not rename already known stuff just because the game named/translated them differently).
Definitely do not rename Lightning to Thunder either, please... The DS use (and eat) the element their attacks are based on and I'm sure we do not see Laxus throwing rumbling noise at his opponents.19:18, August 9, 2020 (UTC)
I'm starting the s class quests now, outside of that and some arc names it's pretty much it for canon stuff, I'm prob take a break for a little lol outside of 100YQ stuff just giving you a heads up bro--13:14, August 11, 2020 (UTC)
updated, it's the same thing different spelling--13:30, August 11, 2020 (UTC)
good evening I just put the last images you asked for. I also put gifs of ep91 (hammer) and ep137 (shovel) in case you want to add. I also found an image of gajeel ep 101 using the hammer. Viniciusbs03 (talk) 21:18, August 13, 2020 (UTC)
I am still learning to do as much as I know and put a scene without editing, but if it is within my reach I can do it without problems.
and I would like to ask if you know any site to download the anime that does not include the subtitles included (when I went to get the images in the eps the majority had subtitles in pt-br, and I imagine that would not be nice on the page) Viniciusbs03 (talk) 23:58, August 13, 2020 (UTC)
It's mostly me just testing, and cause like the slayers it is unique only to this series, unlike "Fire Mages", "Water Mages" and "Dark Mages" etc. are generic in all fantasy media. All the info I got is from other CS pages, I know they're all based on Lucy but that's because she's the only CS mage the show focuses on, all the others have either lost their keys and/or magic, Yukino who as far as we know is pretty at the level Lucy was at the beginning of the series, being only able to summon one at a time.
There's also the possibility that CS Magic is on the verge of becoming a Lost Magic since the amount of practitioners have greatly reduced since the Zentopia incident, with Lucy and Yukino possibly being the only known mages with Gate Keys. Putting it in the same state as the Slaying Magics.
The effect was never shown but Juvia was training with cubes of water before the GMG arc. Is the game image replaceable with this? File:Juvia_training_anime.png --PineappIee89 (talk) 06:16, August 18, 2020 (UTC)
Hello again, I know you admins are probably busy with the current game but I don't have it so I've been investigating spell names in Zeref Awakens. I don't have any videos/source other than the fact that I downloaded a PSP emulator and save data of the game to play it. Can I add the Japanese names to existing pages/where appropriate or would you like me to do it in a sandbox-esque page? example, this is a list of Levy's spells. Sorry if this breaks image licensing stuff. --PineappIee89 (talk) 08:28, August 22, 2020 (UTC)
Side project is perfectly fine! I'll do the compiling on my profile over time. This idea came from procrastinating so it might take a while. Another problem is that the save I downloaded has finished the game, but hasn't unlocked the spells for every character. I'm not fluent in Japanese, maybe JLPT N2-3, and the game is really hard (combination of the controls (nub and arrow keys not super friendly on my keyboard) and I find the gameplay quite tough too - not the best gamer). But I'll do what I can until I get stuck and get back to you! --PineappIee89 (talk) 11:20, August 22, 2020 (UTC)
Hey Lightning I need some advice, you see on this other wiki there are two characters who are the paternal uncle and aunt to this girl. The uncle is repeatedly said to be the older brother of the girl's father, however the uncle and aunt's last names were never said, in any episode credits or other available official sources. Though in another episode confirms that the girl's mother changed her last name. They are however given the last name from the Japanese wikipedia, which the others on that wiki say is a reliable source for the series. The series also takes place in present-day Japan, where the only difference is that there are yokai in the world as well. How much inference would be needed in a situation like this?13:39, August 22, 2020 (UTC)
Sorry, I phrased the mother's surname situation-thing wrong. What I meant was that the mother's aunt never married, keeping her family name whereas the mother's surname is that of her husband, which is officially given. Thanks for your opinion about this, it really helped.14:31, August 22, 2020 (UTC)
I've been thinking that maybe we should merge the Animal Soul's partial transformation pages with their respective full form ones. As the official name suggests for spells like Animal Soul: Snake, she can likely turn into a full snake and yet it's still referred to as 'snake' rather than 'Animal Soul: Lamia' when she used the partial form, the same can be said for Animal Soul: Cat. Showing that Lisanna doesn't differentiate between her full and partial forms like Elfman.
A possible exception to this being Animal Soul: Mermaid, suggesting that she may have gotten it from an actual Mermaid or a Siren like one of the games monsters depending what the game officially calls it.
Interestingly, I just notice that Lisanna's Harpy form in the game resembles that of her Harpy form during the final anime season, both having white feathered arm-wings and feathered 'ears', the difference being in the anime she kept her normal clothes on. Presumably she found and copied a real Harpy during the 1 year time skip to replace her make-shift partial form from early on.Striker10 (talk) 02:55, August 24, 2020 (UTC)
Hi, can I just weigh in here. While I believe we should wait for what the game will call it when she is released, I just wanted to mention some stuff.
In her fight with Azuma (first series Episode 105), Lisanna already used a variant of Harpy that only has wings and legs (no chicken thigh). Compare with the current image for Harpy. This would most likely be the same variant as the final season anime (despite the lack of ears).
The other point is that in the game Zeref Awakens, the description for both of her spells related to her Bird form goes something like "Imbuing the power of Bird in her legs/arms, she delivers an attack." The only problem(?) is that Bird is not written in the equivalent quotation marks (i.e. 「鳥」) which would refer to the spell, rather it is standalone (鳥の力を...).
I think merging the bird related take overs into Bird is the best idea too. After all, as pointed out by Striker10, Snake and Cat aren't full body take overs either.
I still disagree with Harpy being video game exclusive, provided Harpy is the name the game will give it. If the game gives it a name and we have an anime counterpart (and in this case a manga one too in Chapter 496) then it doesn't have to be video game exclusive spell. The same thing happened to White Dragon's Iron Fist right?
To organise my points, 1) put all bird related take overs into Bird but 2) if game calls the spell Harpy, still keep it under Bird but it can redirect to its own spell page with the corresponding appearance in the anime/manga.--PineappIee89 (talk) 09:39, August 24, 2020 (UTC)
The same should be said for Animal Soul: Bunny to merge with Animal Soul: Rabbit.
Also, here's why Animal Soul: Mermaid can't be a partial form of Animal Soul: Fish, the fish's tail fin is vertical like all fish, while Mermaids is horizontal like most non-fish aquatic creatures like Dolphins, Manatees, Seals etc. all mammals. Ergo, Lisanna must have come across some mermaid to attain this form
Lastly, I don't know if Beast Arm: Scale Bull is in the new video game, I got the name from his skill list in the Zeref Awakens game on his page, I checked some gameplay to confirm if the arm is playable.Striker10 (talk) 13:37, August 25, 2020 (UTC)
good evening I reviewed the daphne bow and compared it to the lizardman page data and noticed a few things. -> when the lizardmans copy the earth they copy their armor. -> when they copy the elfman they also copy its complete beast soul form (not just the partial transformation). the images you asked for will post tomorrow with some gifs.
And one last thing, it would not be better to separate the page of the lizardmans in two - one page for the natural ones (like what the elfman transforms) and another for the artificial ones created by daphne. and it would also be nice to create a page for the artificial dragonoid that she created and arrested natsu.
Good Morning I just posted the images of ep 70 that you asked me for. I put 3 of the lizardman using virgo drive for you to choose which would be better, in addition to images of the lizardman copying 2 armor of the erza. the lizardmen don't use the vigo chain charm (I didn't find anything interesting to make gifs in this ep) the lizardman using the Beast Arm: Iron Bull has been posted before, so I will not post it. Viniciusbs03 (talk) 11:55, August 26, 2020 (UTC)
Good Morning I just uploaded images and gifs of eps 71 and 72 on the lizardmen that I found relevant.
I would also like to suggest a modification to the lizardmen page so that it is standardized, since for some magics (Earth Magic, Regulus, Smoke Magic) it is detailing the spell used, while for other magics (reequip, take over) it is just being listed the magic without mentioning the spell used. in the case of take over, it is only listing the partial transformation, and they also do the total transformation (https://fairytail.fandom.com/wiki/File:Lizardman_ (Elfman_Version) .JPG).
mangaseeonline . us connect the words together, search for fairy tail for all offical translations, the link is counted as spam for some reason
i remeber yukino saying something about it's her signature stance or form --13:28, August 26, 2020 (UTC)
yo did want to gifs for the enchantments? I dind't know what the format is on here. do enchantment pages get gifs?--17:59, August 30, 2020 (UTC)
oh ok if you need them I'll upload but if not i'll do it another time--19:35, August 30, 2020 (UTC)
good evening I just posted the images you asked me for lisanna, but when I went to post I ended up naming those from ep 292 as ep 92. And one more thing, I don’t think that this transformation of lisanna is harpy form, because if you look at the photos you can see the ears of the cat form in it while using the wings, maybe it’s a mixture of the cat and harpy forms. Viniciusbs03 (talk) 23:58, September 3, 2020 (UTC)
Partial Take Over and extras
1) Lisanna's Penguin spell doesn't have to be unnamed. She shouts "Penguin" when she used it in Episode 105 and 118.
2) Doesn't Mermaid give Lisanna the ability to use Lightning Magic too? She first summons lightning bolts to use Mermaid Typhoon.
3) Are Lisanna's spell names in the game enough to name the pages Harpy and Mermaid? The attack names in her Cat form are just Animal Scratch and Animal Attack. I think your original idea of having a main "Bird" page with all the variants (Wings, Half Bird, Harpy, Bird Manga ver.) listed underneath with images and descriptions is best.
3) Is Partial Take Over a term coined by the wiki? I know Full Body Take Over was in the story and it was a big deal because Elfman had poor control of his forms.
I'm bringing this up because it seems to cause problems naming spells and a bit redundant for other Take Over users (his problem doesn't really apply to anyone else). The fact that his spells were originally called "Beast Arm" should be sufficient.
To support my view, none of Mira's spells are divided accordingly even though you could argue Mirajane Seilah is a Full Body and Satan Soul/Sitri/Halphas are Partial, since these 3 retain most of Mira's appearance. Lisanna also calls some of her "Partial" spell directly as Cat and Snake.
4) Levy's Solid Script: Blast was featured on the cover of volume 25 with the whirlwind-like effects shown in the game. I noticed the reference was noted in Ice, but not Blast. --PineappIee89 (talk) 06:49, September 4, 2020 (UTC)
4.5) Actually you could consider the cover of volume 25 to be the manga version of Solid Script: Full Burst. It has her in the same pose with most of the matching spells surrounding her. But I guess she never used it in the story or the effects shown, just a visual... --PineappIee89 (talk) 06:52, September 4, 2020 (UTC)
2) True, I guess the lightning also isn't used offensively. I'll try find an example to make the logic work.
3) Fair enough. I understand.
I also like what you've done with the Bird page. I think what I was disagreeing with was the layout of the page. Because for at least viewing on desktop (Safari and Chrome), whenever you press 2nd Ver./3rd Ver. to look at the others, it's always blank and either takes forever to load or you have to manually press it to redirect you to the source. Maybe I'll do a little sandbox to show you what I mean.
3.5) I don't know if it was the first mention but the instance I recall Full Body Take Over being mentioned is in Chapter 55/Episode 24. I don't have access to raw scans of the manga but from the anime, I can make a solid guess at it being 全身接収. Of course, you'll need the proper source but 全身テイクオーバー is at least what is said as dialogue.
4) The image is here (https://fairytail.fandom.com/wiki/Levy_McGarden/Image_Gallery?file=Cover_of_Volume_25.jpg).--PineappIee89 (talk) 11:24, September 4, 2020 (UTC)
do you have access to a bot? I need something scanned bro--02:23, September 5, 2020 (UTC)
damn I need the bot for the arc names, it's gonna be tedious lol--13:04, September 5, 2020 (UTC)
go ahead and adjust i was just placing a random anime pic instead of manga lol--04:19, September 6, 2020 (UTC)
yo I asked jak for a bot but he didn't know how to get it running so we'll just have to do it manually, I'll take care of manga and episodes and mostly everything else, if you could do character pages I'd appreciate that--12:13, September 7, 2020 (UTC)
Good Day LightingGeist I'm really sorry for editing those pages i didn't know that it wasn't the format of the wiki, i didn't read your first message so i did it the second time i apologize for my actions and have a nice day. (QuickBolt1 (talk) 16:36, September 6, 2020 (UTC))
Good Day again, i wanted to ask why don't you put the characters age after X784 like erza is 19 in X784 but after tartaros arc it's X792 and she should be 20 and after alvarez empire arc it's X793 so erza should be 21 right now but in the wiki they only show the age in the X784 Year. QuickBolt1 (talk) 17:24, September 6, 2020 (UTC)
I'll see what I can bro, that one user always uploads osts. I can write on her page if anything--00:56, September 8, 2020 (UTC)
can you add weapons for this template https://fairytail.fandom.com/wiki/Template:Character_Template_(Dragon)
thanks bro--01:38, September 10, 2020 (UTC)
i don't think she ever used sky, i didn't really double check but I dont remember her using it--14:26, September 14, 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads up about the images. I deleted the Seilah fan art that I believe was the only violation you hadn't fixed.
yo bro if you're ever interested in reading some of the character episodes translated this new twitter acct translates the stories and posts pics from it https://twitter.com/FT_DanceOfMagic -- 11:43, September 20, 2020 (UTC)
