Hello, I've been trying to fiddle with the portable infoboxes, but I am absolutely terrible with .css and I haven't been able to figure out how to do some things (even with the help pages). And you said that we could ask questions if we got stuck, so I'm going to take you up on that offer, lol.
- How do I center headings? For example, I would like "Natsu Dragneel" and "Characteristics" here to be centered on the infobox.
- How do I change the infoboxes (and its borders) colors? I'd like to use an alternating red and white color scheme like the one found on the original template.
- In our current infoboxes, the text that is physically entered on each page is black, but the text on the infobox itself can be black or a different color. Is it possible to differentiate this? If so, how?
- As mentioned on the forum, we have like 20+ infoboxes and they all use different colors, how would we go about setting up those individual themes in .css and in the actual templates?
I know these are a lot of questions, and I'm sorry about this, but my understanding of .css is very limited and even after reading the help pages and looking at other wikis, I'm still pretty confused. Thanks for your time.02:48,8/31/2015
No worries. :D And that's great! As far as questions go, the ones I previously asked are the only ones we have currently. ^___^17:16,10/9/2015
Czech, you screwed something up. Many of the infoboxes are red links right now and I am too lazy and too tired to look into fixing it--
Re:Portable infoboxes: the return
Thanks, but I'd actually prefer to try to work out all the kinks prior to it going live because there were a few major issues that concerned me as well. For example, we use switch templates on a good many of our infoboxes. Is this something that can be used with the portable infoboxes as well? And our fight and event templates are coded a little weirdly. I'm worried about how that will transfer over. 09:02,3/13/2016
I hope it's not a problem if I respond to this matter, but I just checked 14 templates (I hope those were all of them) on different pages and none of them had any red links for me. Therefore, it appears that it all functions properly now.
- I did notice red links before as I posted here, but I believe that Rai fixed the issue. 16:06, March 13, 2016 (UTC)
Oh no, that's completely my fault! I should've been more clear. What I meant by switch template was the image switching template that we use in several infoboxes. Will that still function properly with the portable infoboxes? And we'd prefer to preserve the colors we have now as they're indicative of different affiliations within the series. And as far as infoboxes that worry me go, the only ones I was really worried about were the fight and event templates, but since you say the coding won't be hard to transfer over, then I'm good as far as that is concerned. ^__^ 19:42,3/13/2016
I'm just sort of confused over why this category exists? It appears it was created today and I don't know what purpose it gives, except that it adds an entire category to the GMG fights that I don't see a use for. I'm not really complaining or anything, just wondering. Thanks for taking the time to explain. ;o

I understand that, I like categorization myself, but the category is appearing on the fight pages too. What I specifically don't understand is why it would need to be on Grand Magic Games fight pages as well, since they are all categorized as fights to begin with. That's what I was trying to say initially, I guess.

Ahh, thank you very much~ Will do!

I didn't even think of the noinclude tag, for some reason. Thanks for the explanation.

Re:Re:Portable infoboxes: the return
Really? That's awesome! And thanks so much!! I've always meant to categorize our templates, but it's a huge job and I never quite got around to it. I truly appreciate the help!!16:16,3/14/2016
Sounds like a plan! Always happy to help out. ^___^16:38,3/14/2016
They're absolutely perfect!!!!! :D Thanks so much!! I do have one very, very quick question about one of the infoboxes you provided though. Is it possible to alter the width of the spell box? I only ask because the images/gifs on spell pages are all 200px. 05:08,5/4/2016
Hi. I've gone ahead and approved all those drafts. And yes, that plan sounds great to me! ^___^16:42,5/4/2016
Hi :D Thanks for your help with the infoboxes! Just wanted to let you know that there is a bit of an issue with the switch template for the Spell infobox, for example see Urano Metria, and with indented lists in the combatants for the Fight infobox, for example see Lucy Heartfilia vs. Angel, and I was hoping you could take a look at it and help us fix it please? It'd be much appreciated :) 16:53, May 4, 2016 (UTC)
Thanks a bunch!17:28, May 4, 2016 (UTC)
I think we are good since that was the only page that required a double indentation and removing it makes it look great so we are just gonna leave it how you left it since, as you said, it doesn't really matter in that case. I was actually looking at it in mobile and I love how the new infoboxes look. Thanks so much for looking into it :)17:36, May 4, 2016 (UTC)
Thank you so much for all your generous help :)17:10, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
Hi there! Just wanted to say thanks again for all your infobox help. We really appreciate it! For the most part, they all seem to have been uploaded seamlessly. But there does to be a very slight issue with the concurrent field on the fight infobox. And the infoboxes for fights and chapters seem to have odd white space by the images. If you could check that out when you get a chance, that'd be great. Thanks. ^___^ 23:22,5/10/2016
Hello there~ Thanks for your assistance. The image thing seems to be fixed. As for the Concurrent issue, my browser is Chrome 50.0.2661.102 and I use Windows 10 Home. Since you mentioned zooming in and out, I tried to do so in Chrome and - as weird as it sounds - zooming in to 110% as well as zooming out to 90% made the issues disappear. I checked Firefox since I have it installed, and the issue wasn't present with that browser.18:46, May 18, 2016 (UTC)
Thanks again! Seems to be fixed on my end. We'll see if the change of the word would work~19:43, May 18, 2016 (UTC)
