|Hello Beautifully Corrupted, please note that we have an Image Policy that you need to follow whenever you upload and add images to articles. All images must have a Fair Use Rationale (or FUR) and a License. Here are some steps in adding those two to images: (Note that when uploading images, it's better to use Special:Upload as it will make adding the FUR and license easier.)
Failure to follow this policy may result in you being blocked. If you are still having trouble with images, please leave me a message on my talk page. I am more than happy to help. Thank you! 09:35, April 1, 2014 (UTC)
Alrighty, so when uploading an image to the wiki there are a few things you have to remember:
- > If you plan to use the image in articles, it should be of highest quality possible and cannot be a fanart, so only images from official manga and anime can be used.
- > You can upload any other images as long as you do not insert them into articles but use them, for example, in your profile. But make sure to use them as unused images are generally deleted.
- > All images uploaded to our wiki should have a proper filename, something short but descriptive (i.e. 'Sting's grin', but no 'lethbalwkht654646' and alike). If you want to rename (or even delete) your image, you should contact one of the administrators.
- > All images, without exception, must include a Fair Use Rationale and Licencing on their file pages. For example, take a look at this image. Scroll down to see the place below the image, on the About tab, you can see the FUR and Licensing. When you scroll back up and press Edit, you can see how the templates for FUR and licensing are filled in. You can simply copy paste the entire thing into your image's file page, but don't forget to change which episode your picture is from and the description. Following the instructions I left above, it shouldn't be too hard :) You should also check the entire Image Policy.
