Gingers are she-devils that have no fucking soul!!!
Okay, so this chapter was pretty decent I think. It starts off with Irene torturing Mirajane for killing her "children." And I think their interaction kinda ruined how I felt about the previous fight. If Irene was going to show up, why have Mira face off against boring non-entities like Juliet and Heine? Mira obviously couldn't beat Irene, but her fighting against Irene and getting her ass handed to her would've been a lot more interesting than her beating irrelevant small fry. :/
Irene, like many characters before her, has a pretty disturbing sadistic side about her. Even though I can't stand her or her revolting tendencies, I hope she remains the same. Even if she is related to Erza in someway. There's nothing worse than a character who is obviously mentally perturbed *cough*Minerva*cough* becoming good and losing most of their personality in the process. >_> That aside, August showed up and I must admit that I love the dynamic between him and Irene. It's like two nuclear bombs that are just one wrong word from exploding. :D That heartless asshole did try to kill my Mira though, and I have to give Mashima his props - his art here was AMAZING. I don't think I've ever seen an artist convey fear the way Mashima did with Mira here. She looked terrified. My heart sank seeing her like that. :(
Luckily, Brandish was there to shrink Mira's wound. And I know some people are going to complain about Mashima teasing a death and revealing it to be a farce in one chapter, but honestly, does it really matter when he reveals the death to be fake? Anyone with even a semblance of a brain should realize by now that Mashima is not going to kill any relevant characters, so the fake out shouldn't bother you. :/
In other news, Sorano and Yukino met up and it was pretty much what you expected it to be - lots of crying, lots of "woe as me"s, etc. etc. Gotta admit, even though the moment was sweet, I just can't bring myself to care. >___< What I do care about, however, is Rahkeid Dragneel freeing Dimaria. Not sure what's going on there, but I like it. :D All in all, this was a decent chapter - not too great, not too bad. I just hope that A) Mira gets a better fight. >_> B)The remaining Spriggans actually live up to their fucking names C) This war ends epicly. :P
