Oh wow. So much good and so much bad stuffed into one chapter. This looks like a job for... my rants and raves review! ( ^____^)
- Rave: OMG!!! That colored Erza color was amazing. Say what you want about Mashima, but artwise, he really has virtually no equals. Dude's a beast. ^___^
- Rant: This arc has been a complete and utter disappointment so far. When it first started off, we were presented with these larger than life foes whose powers seemed nearly insurmountable, and it was my sincere hope that they would be defeated through careful calculation, but nope. Virtually all the Spriggans have been defeated in a chapter or less in wholly unsatisfying battles. And what's worse, some have even been one-shotted like poor Neinhart. :( Although tbh, I can't really be mad anymore. I got my hopes up early on in the arc, they've been crushed and ngl, I'm kinda numb to the shitty fights at this point. :P
- Rave: Kagura slashing down Simon. Glad she finally got over the initial shock of seeing her "brother" back in action. And in typical Kagura fashion, she did it in a badass way. ;-D
- Rant: Okay, so last chapter Jellal looked like he was ready to fuck a bitch up, and I read the spoilers and they said that Jellal summoned an entire planet, so I was pretty excited... until I read the chapter and realized that all he used was fucking Grand Chariot. Like... seriously? ( ._____.)
- Rave: Lady Eileen!!! She's both powerful and sexy af. My type of lady. :D And tbh, I need another hot red head in my life now that I can NEVER look at Melisandre the same again. :( Now that I see her though, I've kinda given up hope that her connection to Erza will be deeper than a family tie, but I'm still hoping that Mashima will do something unexpected and interesting here. Also, please, please, PLEASE Mashima. Let Eeileen and August have good battles. That's all I ask. :(
