Chapter Cover

459 had an amazing chapter cover. One of the best color covers we've gotten in a while, imo. :3 And 460's cover was pretty good too. Lucy is as sexy as ever. ;D

Okay, I'm going to say this chapter was good and at least a thousand people are going to try and murder me for it. But let me explain first, lol. I normally like to review chronologically, but I think I'll tackle the elephant in the room. Brandish being defeated by Cana due to her pollen allergy. Firstly, before anything else, can I just say how adorable she looked while sneezing? I literally can't even. Secondly, before there are a gillion different people whining about how one of the Spriggan 12 was defeated so lamely, in my opinion, I think it's pretty obvious that this is some kind of ploy. Mashima isn't going to have Erza of all people being almost killed by a Spriggan to another one being knocked out by Cana and pollen, lol.

As far as the rest of the chapter goes, it was pretty good in my opinion. Erza falls from the sky, finally succumbing to the wounds she suffered from Jupiter and Ajeel's dehydration, but Natsu saves her and they share a beyond adorable moment. ^___^ Elsewhere, Mirajane and the others are facing off against Wahl. And I gotta say, I absolutely loved it. Firstly, I got the feeling that Wahl wasn't really a direct kinda fighter, but had some pretty interesting abilities and I wasn't wrong. His Magic, Weaknesss, allows him to essentially create robots that exploit his opponents weaknesses. Gray's is fire, Juvia's is steam? Ummm... say what? ( .___.) I don't really understand how that makes any sense. Especially since Juvia can turn into steam herself. But okay. Elfman's is a fast opponent and Lisanna's is a strong opponent. And Mirajane's... is Elfman.#DEAD While these five are dealing with their weaknesses, Wahl goes to finish off Freed. And we actually get to see Bickslow and Evergreen fighting in what feels like the first time in forever. :D Although they don't get to do much since Wahl exploits their weaknesses as well. And their Eye Magic doesn't work on him because he isn't a Mage, but a robot!!!!! :D But just when all hope seems lost, Laxu- No, Ichiya appears. Y-yay? ( .___.)

Overall, this was a pretty good chapter in my opinion. I know some people are going to hate on the comic nature of the chapter, but honestly, after the seriousness of Erza vs. Ajeel, it was nice to see a little comic relief. And as I previously mentioned, I don't think Brandish is really down, so... there's that. ( .___.)

460

460 was good as well, but I personally fond 459 better, so I'm not going to harp on it too long. Long story short - everyone defeats Wahl's weakness soldiers by switching opponents and Wahl himself is taken out by Freed and Ichiya's combined efforts. As previously mentioned, I think it's obvious that Wahl and Brandish aren't down quite yet. Or else the Spriggan 12 would literally be jokes. I'm glad we got to see the TGT back in action after so long. And I hope they get other battles in this arc as well. ^___^ The thing I'm most curious about, however, is how they treated Ichiya "cruelly?" :D Pretty much every chapter with this guy is amazing. I hardly ever laugh as hard as I do when I see him. XD

Rants and Raves

Natsu catching Erza was sweet. Love their relationship. ^___^ And by relationship, I mean friendship so we're clear. ( .___.)
Wahl's Magic is pretty legit in my opinion and I love the fact that he's a robot. No one will believe me, but I was just thinking of how cool it would be if a robot showed up in Fairy Tail. :D
"Mira-chan has no weaknesses" Why thank you for saying so Gray. Anyone who compliments my Mira is alright by me. :D
