I really liked this chapter. It was more of a transitional chapter and something tells me this is all we are going to see of their training, but it was interesting for a few reasons. 1. Mira!!!! She was training (although I'm quite sure Mashima isn't letting her play an important role in the tournament), but who cares because her showing up is enough to make the entire tournament epic. And I really like her new look at the end of the chapter because it wasn't the normal frilly dressed Mira, but she was dressed like she did in her days as The Demon (minus the kind smile of course) and it makes me feel like she's actually making an effort to train and get better. 2. Natsu and Gray are men!!! In many shonen's the main character (usually a teenage boy) seems pretty indifferent towards the hot girls in the show and to see Natsu and Gray actually showing interest in a woman makes me respect them a little more, I do say a little as I still do not like Natsu or Gray. 3. Levy's crush on Gajeel was implied more in this chapter, it's already painfully obvious they like each other but to see it mentioned is always nice. 4. Laxus!!! Seing Laxus is always exciting. 5. Caprico's appearance! Who doesn't love to see a goat giving advice? 6. Erza about to invite Natsu in on the bath was hilarious. Though there were some down sides to the chapter. 1. Laxus is in his old get up....his new one was much more epic. 2. Droy's ass....almost throw up my lunch. 3. Lucy's idea of the One Magic....I'd be severely disappointed if it were something as simple as Love.
Now, about the training, I want everyone to train and get stronger...much stronger, but I don't want them to be too strong because I feel it'd be too unreal for them to recover too much strength in just 3 months.
