First things first. The cover looks AWESOME. I mistook it for a tomb at first >_> but yeah, it's Erza sitting on her throne, as the Fairy Queen we all(almost all :|) know and love.
Now, on to the review. Mirajane's group prepares to fight the freaky Wolf guys and girls. Watching them closely, I have to say that the woman on the right reminds me of Eclair from the upcoming movie. Also, the guy next to her has Warren eyes. And the guy next to that guy looks like a fat Elfman. The other two are more unique though.
Natsu laughs at them, and especially at the Warren guy, and I don't blame him. Arcadios warns Fairy Tail that they are strong, and Natsu, Mira, Wendy and Lily step up to fight them, telling Happy, Carla, Lucy and Yukino to stay back, despite Happy volunteering to fight too.
Sooo, we see Kamika into action (she has red papers, your arguments about her being a Konan rip-off are invalid >_>) and Natsu finds out that he cannot burn her red papers. I guess that she has "elemental" papers and they are not affected by attacks of the same element. Which is cool!
Anywho, Wendy destroys the papers, but then something that looks like a man-eater plant attempts to swallow her. Hopefully, it does not, because....
YOU GUESSED IT!!! Mirajane in her Sitri form saves the day. Also, Lily's opponent has been made obvious now. Konan Cosmos now uses some purple papers that bind her opponents (OMG EVEN MIRA??? WHYYY???). I guess she has not only elemental papers, but papers who bind the opponent,or do other sorts of damage. Meanwhile, the other woman summons a big ass flower(at least it looks like it) that attmepts to swallow everyone. Mira, Natsu and Lily destroy it though, because Wendy heals them with a spell that removes abnormal status (this fight keeps reminding me of RPGs!).
Time for Hisui. She is still brooding around because she sent the Mages then, and she thinks she is doing it wrong when she finds out that the Hungry Wolves went to execute the Mages. Just what is her purpose? ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) Next we see our Mages divided. Natsu fights the leader(of course) Wendy fights the flower woman(anyone else excited for this?) and Mira fights the paper woman. Lucy's group encounters the Warren guy. They learn that not even the bones of the victims remain. That + weird dance = one hell of a freaky guy.
Alright, so yeah, this week's poll had only one serious option, but don't blame me, blame the princess for confusing us ¯\(o_o)/¯
I would give it a 7/10 because it was a "get to know" chapter. Find out who each Mage will beat, and why they will beat this certain someone...But hey, we're all looking forward to the fights, right?
