Chapter cover was sexy Juvia being sexy Juvia. I think I'd enjoy this more if I had actually managed to get some sleep. Right now its six in the morning. I've been in bed for a while, but I can't seem to dose off. Oh well. >_> Anyhow, on to the chapter!
Okay, so this chapter was.... bad. Bad bad bad bad bad bad bad. The Nine Demon Gates all go so much hype and their fights have all been... garbage. Emotional, nakama-speech filled garbage. I mean, it's like Mashima didn't even bother to put any thought into them. The only thing we saw from Juvia and Keith's bout was a bunch of meaningless filler panel "blows" being traded back in forth until eventually Juvia went inside of him and killed him? Honestly? And I sincerely hope Mashima wasn't aiming to make those last few pages with Silver and Gray meaningful because frankly, I don't give a rats ass about Gray or Silver. Gray is boring. Silver had potential but ended up boring. And to make matters even worse, Silver passed on his powers to Gray which just seems cheap to me. The only bright spot of the chapter was Silver saying that E.N.D. was a flame demon because that kinda helps me sort out some theories I have about E.N.D. :/
