If I am reading this correctly, there's going to be a second season of fairy tail anime! There has been a lot of doubt of the anime continuing to broadcast from different communities of Fairy Tail fans (English, Japanese, Chinese, etc.) because of them removing a lot of materials and it's rushed pace. But now there shouldn't be any more worries! (Unless this is proven false, however...)
I don't think the anime will hit straight into the Oración Seis arc immediately because there are too many materials left out, and they did that because they probably wanted to finish the first season of anime with the Fighting Festival arc. My guess is that they will make an anime original to add in the materials that were left out in the anime, and for Mashima to draw more Fairy Tail so the Anime doesn't catch up immediately.
What do you guys think will happen to the anime? Feel free to discuss~
UPDATE: Season 2 Starts on October, with new OP "Egao No Mahou" by Magic Party, and new ED "HOLY SHINE" by Daisy X Daisy. Here's a picture of a preview of Season 2.
