UPDATE 4/8/12 From The Magazine:

The girl who holds the key to the movie, Eclair!!

The mysterious girl that appeared on this week's cover, her name is Eclair!! Based on her appearance, it feels like she has some relevance to the subtitle "Priestess of the Phoenix". That image is also the new character that's solely for the movie drawn by Mashima. What is the reason that she paired up with this strange bird(?!) name Momon, and continuing on this journey?!

The plot of the movie:

Fairy Tail, a Wizard Guild that solves various requests, with "Magic and Fighting Spirit" as their daily life. One day, a request flew in with "I want the leader of the bandit group that's eating the nest in a certain harbor town, Geese, to be apprehended" inscribed. Natsu and them, who are looking forward to the big reward, set out to the place of request in high spirits.... However, because of a mistake Lucy made, they let Geese to escape right in front of their eyes. With the request failed, Lucy, who was depressed by herself.... met a mysterious girl named Eclair and a strange bird named Momon on her way home. Eclair somehow lost her memory, and the only thing she remembers is that she must deliver the "Phoenix Stone" in her possession to somewhere. Eclair, who hates magic, and the secrets hidden in the Phoenix Stone... with this meeting as the start, this time, a brand new enemy, and a sinister plot will confront Fairy Tail!

A 30 pages non-serialized story drawn by Hiro Mashima for this specific occasion. Movie Prologue "The Starting Morning"!!:

To enjoy the movie 100 times more, read this!! A touching hidden tale that predates the movie plot line by a bit, it's a story drawn on the tender miracle of the two, Eclair and Momon.

One additional Details:

  • The designs will be slightly different for the characters compared to the original work and anime.

Rest of them are mostly teasers that didn't provide info about the plot of the movie, or previously written.

UPDATE 4/11/12: Movie Page Updated:

The introduction page mainly briefly talked about the history of Fairy Tail Series, who is involved in the movie, and the main attractions of Fairy Tail Series. Otherwise, it didn't talk much about the movie.

The Story page is pretty much everything I wrote on the Plot on the last update.

The Character page has portraits of the main characters. However, except for 2, Eclair and Momon, rest of them are no more than brief history of themselves.

  • Eclair (The Priestess that dances beautifully)
    • A mysterious girl that's continuing on a journey while fortune-telling. She has a stern look like she forgot how to smile, and for some reason, avoids Wizards. Just what is her past?!
  • Momon (The only partner that Eclair's opens her heart to)
    • A mysterious bird that's bounded with Eclair. It often talks like it's even talking for the quiet girl.

The Staff page briefly talked about the the three staffs and the history of their works:

  • Hiro Mashima, the Creator of Fairy Tail
  • Masaya Fujimori, the Director
  • Masashi Sogo, the Screenwriter/Playwright

The new trailer didn't show too much, but one thing did caught my attention. Lucy apparently rephrased about a magic that will do towards reviving a person. She then continued that "That magic may be for good, but it's still evil".
