And as many expected Juvia survives. Seems like my prediction on Wendy healing Juvia to hit jackpot, since it's not fully BS this time, i'm fine with it.
The chapter itself was not bad, it was good enough to keep me interested in it, still feels like a joke though. I remember discussing with CNBA3 on the issue of having Invel reveal Natsu is END from the start and that would be better and i believe this chapter just proves it. Invel is just going to reveal that Natsu is END anyway, why didn't he just do that from the start. This just makes the events that transpired in the past few chapters redundant, even if we count the "power-up" Gray underwent here, it's kinda pointless because the same could've happen too without having to go through a…Read more >
Even though it was a good chapter, good enough to keep me slightly interested in it, i still can't get the feel about this fight. I guess the fact that Juvia's chances of living being high is a factor. After the Gajeel incident, this chapter just feels empty, you can't actually pour in any emotions into believing Juvia is actually dead or will die. And it was a nice chapter too, if only the setup to this was a bit better. Maybe it'll change if Juvia is actually dead, though i'll probably be celebrating than crying in that situation.
That being said the blood transfusion moment was kinda dumb, like some poor attempt to get feeling out of this. If preventing blood lost is enough to keep you two alive, Gray could've just freeze the wounds to p…Read more >
It's not a bad chapter, just an empty chapter? IDK, can't find the exact words to describe this chapter.
If Mashima wanted to set Invel up as a fearsome opponent he did, to an extent. But he also set up his inevitable defeat in the last page too. After the Gajeel and Mira incident, are we even suppose, more like are we able to be impressed, be awed or even be hyped by this chapter at all? The hype was created and destroyed in the same chapter, that's quite impressive in a sense but not a good one for sure. And the "purest of the ice" magic seems to have little effect on Natsu now, i'm guessing it has something to do with the slightly random Brandish appearance. Did she just appear for the sole sake of kidnapping Natsu, Lucy and Happy?

Okay nice start with Irene, Zeref and her kill Erza thing, but after the incident with Silver, are we supposed to just believe it wholeheartedly, only time will tell at this point but i simply just don't care about this. By the way is Neinhart suppose to be another enhancement like the sword sister?
The remainder of the chapter was pretty much bland, Gildarts crashing the battlefield. We now know Mashima's answer on how to deal with a giant army without involving too many character. How is Elfman and Lisanna holding against Ajeel? He is still a guy who overpowered Erza in the beginning of the war, talk about how the mighty has fallen. >_>
And as expected the obligatory ice vs. ice battle begins, it would've been much better if the last page …Read more >
Lazy to wait for a review blog to come out, so i'll just list my thoughts out now.
- Gildarts vs Serena. One-shot incoming
- Very manly indeed Elfman. -_- Now stand down before you hurt someone with your uselessness.
- Jacob. Well he's still as gay and incompetent as usual. Glad to see that he's in character. Now just kick him in the balls Mira.
- Parent of the Year Award: The Connells
- Rogue and Minerva. At least we know who gets the obligatory off-screen fight now.
- Sorano O_O What did Richard/Hoteye do to you.
- And God Bye-Bye. Now can we officially just say good bye to this clown of a man and move forward like the title said.
So 1 down 11 to go. Onward to the next jobber Invel.Read more >
