Universe Omega (ユニバース・Ω, Yunibāsu Omega) is a Holder Magic, a type of Black Magic and a variation of Earth Dragon Slayer Magic that uses a Lacrima to transform an entire continent's population into Dragons.[1][2]
Description[]
Similar to Dragonization Magic, this type of Black Magic (described as Ultimate Magic) uses roots spread by Dogramag, a giant Lacrima and Earth Dragon Slayer Magic to induce Dragonization in people. However, unlike Dragonization Magic, it is able to achieve this on a continental scale with only one Lacrima crystal, releasing a dark energy that seems to drain Magic, induce paralysis, and begin Dragonization in those effected.[3][4] The Dragonization is a somewhat gradual process, rather than occurring right away.[5]
Also unlike Dragonization Magic is that it seems to effect every Human on the effected continent and is not stated to "activate" the Five Dragon Gods.[6][7] The target of this Magic needs to be standing on or in physical contact with the ground in order to be affected by the this Magic and even if a person's contact with the ground begins a bit after its activation, the Magic could still affect them.[8]
