Tenrou Island

Tenrou Island (天狼 lit. Heaven Wolf) is the holy ground of Fairy Tail Guild as stated by Makarov. This year's S-Class Wizard Promotion Trial will be held at this island.

Trivia

Its name has the two kanjis which are also the first two characters in the name of Sirius, The Dog Star. Sirius is the brightest star in Canis Major, one of the eighty-eight modern constellations from which all of Lucy Heartfilia's stellar spirits thus far have been derived. This may play a role in Lucy's importance to this story arc.
