Volume 11

I noticed that there is no box for volume 11 and that the chapters in the box for volume 10 actually belong in 11. I am still kind of new to wikia so I don't really know how to do that kind of stuff, but I would love to learn so that I can help out more on the wiki. Also, I think volume 17 came out a short while ago.--Cifer64 01:35, October 10, 2009 (UTC)

Good spot there. I don't actually know what's wrong with it since the code for volume 11 is actually there; it's just not appearing. I'll need to fiddle with it. Thanks for that.
Most of the boxes of info you'll see (or templates) are pretty simple tables. I just learned how to do it from here - not that hard to learn if you keep at it and are used to programming.
I noticed the release of volume 17 but I can't seem to find a raw for it or otherwise information on what chapters are in it so I'm just leaving that blank until I discover it. Dalyup! 02:05, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
Problem solved. One of the </ref> tags was missing on one of the citations. Always the little things... Dalyup! 02:16, October 10, 2009 (UTC)

I don't know what happened but when I added the new chapter to the page it removed all the boxes, and the boxes still weren't there when I reverted it. Sorry about that.--Cifer64 20:44, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

You deleted a marker for a new page row ("|-") which I presume you done by accident. A problem easily solved. Dalyup! 20:52, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, Sorry about. At least it wasn't a big problem, but I won't mess it up again.--Cifer64 20:59, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the link, hopefully it will help me in my future editing :).--Cifer64 02:23, October 10, 2009 (UTC)

On Wikipedia it lists chapters 135 through 143 for volume 17. I don't know if Wikipedia would be a good enough source though.--Cifer64 04:21, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

Font Color

Can You PLEASE change the font color of this article, text are cannot be readed. Coldhandzz 09:47, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

You can't read black font? Dalyup! 11:27, January 27, 2010 (UTC)
Nope, that's not it, it's in the volume list. The Background color is yellow then the font is white.
Font color (Sample)

====Perhaps it's something with that custom skin you're using on Firefox. On other browsers I've used, on different computers, the font has always been black. If it persists, I'll change the background colour rather than the font colour. Dalyup! 21:00, January 28, 2010 (UTC)====

Then I think that's the best solution Coldhandzz 09:40, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

Special Chapters

Just made a new section with all the omake chapters that Hiro Mashima had drawn. If you guys think that it's missing a few chapters, please add it in or tell me. BTW, Rainbow Sakura is the newest omake that will be out at latest mid-March. Some chinese sites already have them posted, and I must say, I am glad that he made it completely colored chapter. ChaosKnight 09:07, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Almost forgot, can someone add the "Omake: Special Request: Noticing that Particular Guy" to the end of Volume 10? I tried, but the templates keeps dissappearing on me... Thanks. ChaosKnight 17:27, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Mm, good section added. I've done what you asked; it appears I've not made the template user-friendly enough. Dalyup! 19:28, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, it was me who did it, I'm sorry, but I just cannot stand that combination of colors, it really hurts my eyes... --Ishthak 21:23, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

UUuuuh, guys in charge? I dont know if you have noticed it, but the Volume 20 is not there. It is normal or...?

Volume template

(This might be better placed in the template's discussion page but I'm unsure) Does anyone have any suggestions or common problems with the template that is used for the volumes on the page? I am the one who originally created it and since I intend to try make the size of the templates be strict to one size (some are longer because of the chapter names), I was wondering if there was any other improvements that could be done? Dalyup! 23:04, April 26, 2011 (UTC)

I think it's fine on this talkpage, and I don't think there's any problem with the template you made it seems to serve its purpose perfectly, though I am curious about something. Do you know if the volumes came with an volume summary, and if they did I think we could possibly place a space for the volume summary on the volume template. It would look like similar to this.  Iam...JakuhoRaikoben  23:13,4/26/2011

I'm not sure what you mean. Like a blurb at the back of the book? I don't intend to change much of the template - just to make the chapter names wrap to the next line if they're too long; it's a niggle of mine. Dalyup! 23:17, April 26, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, a blurb at the back of the book. The chapter names aren't too long they can be left, unless it's some other users find it annoying as well. I'd probably make the change myself, but some users might not want the volume summary or blurb on it so I'd have to see what other users thought first.  Iam...JakuhoRaikoben  00:51,4/27/2011

Hi. Are you guys talking about the height of the templates? I think its fine and nothing should be changed. But the volume summary is a kinda good idea. But I think we need to see it first before changing all the templates.    LK    00:56, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

Well since I am all about concensus and community agreement, if I were to change the volumes to include the summary, I would of course paste it onto a forum or a template page and let other users vote on if they wanted to keep it or not before I changed it.  Iam...JakuhoRaikoben  01:00,4/27/2011

Agreed.    LK    01:09, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

The height is fine, no need to change it. About the summary, actually I was thinking on adding it for a long time. Its a good idea. Natsu-Talk-See My Work 08:59, April 28, 2011 (UTC)

Volume Template Redesign

So ever since I joined the wiki I've hated with all my heart how small the volume cover image is. So I propose redesigning it a bit so that it looks like this! Also, I thought about changing the color scheme but then decided against it, but if the community wants new colors then I'm all up for it.

Numbering the English Titles

This discussion is closed. The result of this discussion is:
Eng titles will be numbered
Please do not edit this discussion.

Hey everyone, so I noticed in some Volumes, the Eng titles tend to be longer than the Jap titles, hence the alignment won't be as accurate, so I was wondering if everyone is okay with me taking the liberty to numbering the english titles. My concern is that it may look too cluttery to some so feel free to vote~ Example: here

Support Support - That would certainly make things easier. How about adding in some empty lines, so that the japanese and english name of the same chapter start at the same height in addition to the numbering? NoNickNeeded (talk) 17:15, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

Where Can I Download the Volumes?

I've read 240 chapters so far. I want to download the rest. I mean the 29th volume and the rest IN ENGLISH. Any links?? AntiAlexielXD (talk) 17:57, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

You can find the volumes in your local book store--GodKingdraPray 17:59,8/5/2013

I want to download them online. I mean, how can I pay for all of them?! C'mon, we all read it online! I just want a link to download the volumes... AntiAlexielXD (talk) 21:32, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

If you're looking for freebies, then you're out of luck. It's kinder of you to support the official release when you can.

if you dont wanna pay and just get the volumes for free cause youre cheap then may i suggest getting the volumes from your local library--Quoth The Raven "Nevermore" ' 23:12, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

4-Koma Fairy Tail x Nanatsu no Taizai tribute collaboration

I first added the 4-koma to the list of Special Chapters, thinking of later creating an article for it, but it was deleted from the list by an admin.

I then created an article for it, and added it back to the Special Chapters list. It was deleted since I should have first communicated with the original admin who deleted it from the list. This I understand. I made a mistake and learned from it.

Today, I came originally to start a discussion as to how should it be reflected here in the wiki, but I find that now, the article itself was deleted, no explanation given.

I can understand if somebody disagrees with it appearing in the special chapter list, but to delete the article itself, I don't understand. Shouldn't this wiki include everything anime and manga that is Fairy Tail related?--Coquidragon (talk) 14:54, February 18, 2014 (UTC)

Hey, it appears your article has been merged with this one (and I'm sure it was explained in the edit summary) Miskos3 Message 17:49, February 18, 2014 (UTC)

It was added to the trivia. Read the edit summary.
MegaPanchamTalk 18:58, February 18, 2014 (UTC)

An edit summary in an unrelated article? Sorry, I didn't think about it.
The 4-koma is a first collaboration between the mangakas, a test of such, before the Christmas Special. It was published two months apart and has nothing to do with the Christmas special itself. (Well, this is my opinion, which clearly is not shared here.)
Why shouldn't it have its own article? It was deleted because it wasn't an omake? "Omake" means "extra or bonus." Of course it is an omake. It might not be a short story, but it is an omake. We could discuss whether or not it merits its own article. We could discuss whether or not it merits being in the "Special Chapters" list. Yet, none of that happened. I tried engaging the first editor in a discussion. Yet, no reply was given. The article was deleted with only a comment in an "unrelated" article. I just don't understand why wasn't there, first any discussion, then any notification given. I might be new to this wikia, but not new to wiki itself. I am just used to doing things differently. Sorry for taking out my frustration in here, however related to the discussion of this article.
Anyways, if the decision is final, there is nothing I can do about it. I have learned for the future. Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience caused.--Coquidragon (talk) 05:33, February 19, 2014 (UTC)
Just an FYI. I just checked for curiosity, and the "Nanatsu no Taizai" wikia has it as a separate special chapter.--Coquidragon (talk) 05:33, February 19, 2014 (UTC)
Hey there! Well, the thing is that we make omake pages for bonus chapters, but a double comic strip by the two mangakas can hardly be called a chapter. But like you said, it was just a test-thing before the actual Christmas special omake, and as such, we added it as trivia of said Christmas special's page. ^_^ I hope that clears everything up and sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for clarifying this wikia's criteria for an article.--Coquidragon (talk) 06:16, February 19, 2014 (UTC)

Linking "Emergency Request: Explain the Mysteries of Fairy Tail" here?

I was wondering if it was a good idea if the little extra FAQs at the end of some volumes (like this for example) should be somehow linked to the volumes on this page. That would make it a lot easier to find them. NoNickNeeded (talk) 21:20, April 15, 2014 (UTC)

Official chapter titles

Since Crunchyroll closed off the Fairy Tail manga from non-premium members a few weeks ago, I started my free trial just to make sure the Wiki is staying on top of getting the official English titles. Can we be sure they're being updated properly? SubZeroSilver (talk) 05:07, August 3, 2016 (UTC)

Yes, because I have been paying $7 a month for the past year just to ensure that the wiki has the correct Fairy Tail titles from Crunchyroll until the volumes are released.

Special Edition Volume

Sorry to disturb, but should volume 5,16,33,50,51,57 have a special edition volume?I mean, according to the Volumes and Chapters,it said that they have an alternate special edition. Plus,I'm just telling the truth.

The section where you were so happily edit warring is a gallery of all available special volume covers; if the image with a proper filename isn't uploaded, then obviously, there is nothing to add. Miskos3 Message 10:47, November 13, 2016 (UTC)
