|Regulus is Caster Magic|

The article states that Regulus is ring magic and holder-type magic, but isn't that wrong?
When Loke uses ring magic, only a small area around the ring lights up. But when he uses Regulus, his entire hand lights up, with the glow centered around his palm, rather than any ring.
Furthermore when fighting Loke in the phantom lord arc, Gajeel even commented about how the attacks didn't feel like holder magic (I know that scene was anime only, but there's nothing in the manga to contradict it).
regulus envelops his whole hand, not just his palm, but either way that doesn't mean or doesn't not mean anything about whether its ring magic. ring magic is magic used through a ring, doesn't matter what glows. Anime-only means nothing. and the fact that loke puts his ring up towards the sky when he calls on regulus support that he is using it as part of him magic. HOWEVER, there is also the fact that when Regulus was transferred to Capricorn, he was able to use it without the ring. so... hm 13:37, October 23, 2013 (UTC)
I agree i dont think regulus is a holder type magic, where is the proof that this is an actual holder magic? just because he used a ring to cast a wind magic at the start of the series doesnt mean this is also a holder type magic, maybe he was using the ring because his magic energy is already low as we all know due to him no longer being able to return to the celestial spirit world so i really think this article should be changed to a caster magic. If you are referring to it being holder magic due to this cover i believe it was referring to the loke who is known as the fairy tail member and not the now revealed loke the celestial spirit. 20:25, September 28, 2014 (UTC)
Neutral - Depends on interpretation. His always calling upon a seemingly external source of power, always clutching the hand his ring is on to 'summon' the power, etc. points to it being Holder, but still makes it speculation. The Capricorn incident proves nothing, one might be able to use the power in any way after getting it from the ring, including transferring to anybody else, as Leo seems to have no further use for the ring once Regulus has been summoned. But I'll still go with Caster. Most Holder Magic shown till now has a greater role for the magic item, like Leo's fellow spirit, Aquarius, and her urn. Regulus doesn't seem to have that. I guess the type for this magic falls in a grey area, so either not give any type for now or ... speculate (/me gets stomped on by the Policy Council) ... for ... nouuuuuggghhh. --Sane Lunatic (talk) 20:53, September 28, 2014 (UTC)

Support - YES I definitely believe its Caster. Upon coming to the wiki, I've seen Regulus listed as a Holder Magic and I always wondered why but I didn't follow through so I just went along with it. Loke only used Ring Magic because he wasn't in his Lion form.
