Voice actor?

For a while now, seiyuu Yuichi Iguchi (井口祐一), known mainly as the voice of Max Alors, was listed as the voice actor for Reedus Jonah. However, the actor was never credited for the role in any of the anime episodes. I have noticed that in Japanese episodes where actors play more than one role, the actor is only credited with one role, and is usually the more prominent one they have in the series. Due to ill luck, Reedus has never been listed in any episode credits to this day. In episode 5, where Reedus appears but not Max, Yuichi Iguchi does not appear in the credits at all. From this I can infer that Iguchi does not play Reedus, and as such, I have removed his name from the page. If anyone can find a reliable source that Iguchi does indeed play Reedus, then by all means, put it back up.

On a similar note, someone on the Japanese wiki's list of characters, someone has listed one Eiji Sekiguchi (関口英司) as the voice of Reedus. Sekiguchi also plays the characters Droy, Vijeeter, Taurus, Rayule, Sol, Leiji, and Yeager; and he does indeed appear in the credits of episode 5. This does seem likely after comparing the characters' voices (especially Droy's post-timeskip voice), but again, because Reedus is never listed in the credits, this is not for certain. Still, for reference, Reedus has a prominent speaking role in episode 25. Here is the Japanese version uploaded by Funimation on YouTube; he speaks around the 02:45 and 21:05 mark. Hair Color

Since apparently characteristics changes require a discussion for it...

Reedus' hair color is consistently brown in the anime but is almost always pink in the manga colorings; the cover for Volume 6 is debatable to be brown but the colors aren't done like in most of the manga colorings throughout the series. So, change to pink due to manga consistency or stick to brown for anime consistency.

  2. Support Support - Change to Pink. I don't personally like him having pink hair but the manga has always taken precedence over the anime. King of Uncool 15:00,11/17/2013
  3. After considering the options, I'm going to have to Oppose Oppose -. Reedus has only appeared in 3 color pages from the Manga, and those are pages that never end up in color when sold in tankobon form. I also feel like the Volume covers take precedence over the splash pages Hiro makes. Having it say pink under his info but displaying nothing but Brown haired pictures would be confusing to the readers. Also, this is a discussion which slightly mirrors the discussion we had over Minerva's hair, when she had purple hair for a splash cover but had black hair in the Anime/ Volume cover. Also, out of curiosity, would saying Strawberry Blonde be a more-so neutral ground?

Far as coloring in animanga goes, I personally say this is closer to "Strawberry Blonde" than Reedus' hair color in the anime but that would just be my personal view on that. As to the issue about which colorings are more valid, I would say anything colored officially by Mashima is valid and we merely use the one which has the most backing, hence why Jellal's eye color is listed as "Brown" rather than "Blue" despite two volume covers using the latter for his eyes. Yeah, but as I said, this is fairly reminiscent of Minerva's hair color discussion
