This is the talk page for the article "Paper Blizzard".
The article says it's a Holder magic, but she was also using Paper Body. Plus, Ivan's Shikigami Magic is classified as Caster yet both magics seem very similar, as far as initiating spells go. What do you guys think?
Oppose - We only saw her body reuniting, not when she became paper (though it's very unlikely that she can transform into paper because of a paper). The other Magic spells we've seen seem to use that dark paper she carries. Until we know more about it, I think we should stick to holder. 20:52, November 28, 2012 (UTC)
As far as I understand, God and Paper in Japanese are said as kami. So as far as translations go, can we truly say that when certain attacks are named as "the God of..." it truly means God and not paper? Is it an intended pun or something? I'd like to make sure of this. --BGMaxie (talk) 04:11, January 10, 2013 (UTC)
This is what Kamika says when she explains Paper Blizzard: Red Dance:
- 赤い紙は炎の神 (Akai Kami ha Honō no Kami)
Which translates to:
- Red Paper is the God of Flames

This Magic should be renamed from the unofficial "Paper Magic" to "Paper Blizzard" since all of the named spells of this Magic have started with Paper Blizzard and I think that's supposed to be the official name. Vote!19:04, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
Oppose - Not every instance of this Magic being used has "blizzard" in the title. The "paper body" is unofficially named, yes, but the others likely have "blizzard" in their names because those are offensive spells whereas the former is not. Also, "Paper Magic" just plain sounds better.
Apparently, Kamika was based off of a fan contribution or something? Would the Magic name be written there? Otherwise, the current name will suffice. Paper Blizzard is just as unofficial...

Support - I like it. Take Ice Make for example. It has Ice Make in front of every spell (if not the majority). And no, I'm not saying that every Magic that has something similar to these two needs to be renamed; people tend to change words to their liking. Just making it clear before someone makes a smart comment. Anyway, Paper Blizzard sounds a lot cooler imo.

Support - I see where Lel is coming from, and to be honest I like Paper Blizzard as a Magic name more than Paper Magic. I know that both are unofficial, but Paper Magic sounds like the most cliche and mundane name ever XD 01:43, October 31, 2013 (UTC)
Neutral - So I thought about this pretty hard actually, while I was preparing my Dr. House costume. I'm a little attached to Paper Magic as a name, but I also like the officiality that Paper Blizzard brings to the table. So, I guess I'll just stay neutral this time around. ( ._.)

Neutral - Paper Magic is simple yet it sounds awkward for me for some reasons... And I think Paper Blizzard sounds more like a Spell name instead. I'm actually thinking of 'Paper Blizzard Magic'. >.> but whatever. Then... I'd go for neutral... -.- 4:44AM, November 1, 2013
