Fairy Tail-oriented Discord Server Affiliation

So I've been asked about a proposal for a FT-oriented server affiliation from Fraeduu. The server in question is different from the one owned by Spiderman from before, where it has gone through a few changes of ownership, including Spiderman, which is currently owned by Fraeduu. This would be good to have a new chatroom, after leaving the original fandom wiki chat and the first server one.Animaltamer⁷

I'm ok with this idea but how will it be implemented though? Lets say the discord is now connected to the wiki like the old discord we had, will we have someone from our wiki's side to be there and represent us or theyll exist as a server and do their own thing but any wiki related discussions should be made in our wiki's talkpages for the sake of documentation and so on? If they need to talk to our side would they just talk to you as the fairytail wiki's liason to the discord server and Fraeduu? I cant think of anymore questions to add at the moment but i might add more later on. LightningGeist 13:42, 1 August 2023 (UTC)

"This can definitely all be negotiated however necessary to help accommodate the affiliation. I want to make sure first and foremost that it 'makes sense' from a community side. The main benefit for affiliating of course is always going to be growth on both sides, and that won't change. But I'd like for the way that we do go about affiliating to go a bit beyond that for the betterment of all parties. On the side of the wiki I think our most intuitive option of course would be an embedded Discord widget/link. But on the side of the server (just since I can speak more towards goals and ideas on my side of things) there's definitely a bit more flexibility there!

I think it would be great to have someone from the wiki side present to represent it there. Of course that would be accommodated with a matching role and attention given to make sure that the position is known. All of this might sort of depend on the goals of the wiki moving into the future, and what might be wanted on that side of things for the affiliation. If the hope is to drive more traffic to talkpages for documentation purposes then it's something we could look into! But if the hope is instead to specifically offer more interactive ways for the community to really get involved on the wiki side of things and discuss, then that could also be discussed.

I personally think that we'll have to not go through with this affiliation opportunity for now since its something the fairy tail wiki and its limited active users can handle at the moment. I appreciate and thankful about the offer of affiliation but maybe in the future such thing will be brought up again and would become possible and manageable.Lightning Geist 16:16, 19 October 2023 (UTC)

I still think we can go through with this, we just need to formulate some regulations to between the two, since this may help the wiki get more active users to who can contribute. -From what's seen on the Main Page, there are two sections consisting of six portals each linking to different characters from the series. It appears that it's Protagonists on the top half while there are Antagonists on the lower half. Since that ''appears'' to be the case, why is it that [[Ikaruga]] is featured? Compared to the others (perhaps [[Ultear]] as well), she's a very minor character who's made significant appearances towards the latter half of one arc. I would propose that she be replaced with someone such as [[Brain]]/[[Zero]]. He is a major antagonist during the [[Oración Seis arc]] and I believe he would be better suited than Ikaruga to be on the Main Page in that particular area.<br>{{User:Glass Heart/Sig|07:35,12/29/2012}}

-Ok so we are getting a bunch of proposed pics but I think that the image has to have the Magic '''centered'''. You guys are proposing too many images that have it at the side (like Herme's Ice-Make prop and all 3 Natsu's prop) and they look ugly in my opinion. I also think that the image should be something that screams out Magic, like [[Amaterasu]], not just an effect that may happen naturally, like elemental Magic spells. -Anyways, @Reli, my thoughts exactly. I also think that at least something Magic has to be shown (like the Magic Seal), not a static image like Lucy summoning Aquarius. -Magic seals aren't necessary... they are anime-only either way. I don't see being static as a problem for the Aquarius pic, however, we can't see the key so for all we know Aquairus was there the entire time and Lucy is just shoving her hand in to the water (not really, it's just an example).
