Classification

Just a thought

I agree with you. I also think it's a requip. If the admins consider Makarov's robe summoning a requip spell, why it can't be a reuqip spell as well. Do you agree? User:Domynyk 11:29, Apr 28, 2012, (UTC)

Requip

OK people ! As the above discussion stated, Magic Sword can be described as simple Requip. The template of it's summoning doesn't matter as it's more like Ultear summoned the sword that created it. And if it really was created, then shouldn't this be a Sword Magic spell ?

Sword Magic is manipulating swords, not creating them. Holder Magic. It's not Sword Magic, just like it isn't some type of Metal-Make. Tbh, Mashima has been extremely vague regarding this (I actually consider it to be part of her Arc of Time), so I don't see the problem with keeping it as is. --Sane Lunatic (talk) 15:19, August 1, 2016 (UTC)

I definitely don't agree with it being Arc of Time, but I don't agree with Requip either. Requip has always looked basically the same, and it didn't look like she requipped this sword at all - it looked like she made it from energy.
