Name?

Is it Rahkeid or Larcade? I used google translate and it came out to "arcade" so im guessin it's larcade cause it is closer, while Rahkeid is more of just sounding simliar to the romaji. What do you guys think it should be? thx 73.191.17.103 16:27, May 22, 2016 (UTC)

I think it should be changed to "Larcade". Mainly because that's the name Crunchyroll goes with.

Google Translate isn't a factor as it's translations are unreliable.

Shield

I think maybe Ankhseram White Magic because since he is Zeref's brother, and Zeref lived 4 centuries to the present, it would somehow make sense that Larcade's magic is Ankhseram White Magic. All of this is complete speculation. At this moment in time, his magic should be described in a vague manner in accordance with the most recent chapter. To give it a name so soon when we know very little about it in my view is irresponsible, to go so far as to actively describe it as having anything to do with Ankhseram just downright goes against the very notion of what a wiki is supposed to be; an encylopaedia. By its very definition, an encylopaedia is a book of facts. Speculation is almost the exact opposite of a fact. What Dex just said. Can't name a Magic if it's not actually named in the chapter. And by the looks of it, it doesn't resemble anything we've come across before. What you guys give is pure speculation, nothing else, to be quite frank

Prince of Alvarez

Since Larcade revealed himself to be Zeref's son (by extent, Natsu's nephew), won't that make him the prince and heir to the throne of the Alvarez Empire?

Sure, he is one of the Spriggan 12 but he shares the name and blood of Zeref Dragneel, who's the Emperor of Alvarez, and is a part of the Imperial Family.

Zeref is immortal and therefore has no need for an heir. Until we are told that the Alvarez empire follows the typical hierarchical standard for monarchies, we will not list him as the prince. In most cases, this would be common sense, but when you have an immortal leader and then your son acting as, not as a prince, but a bodyguard, then you have to question the norm.

On top of what Wrath already said, we also don't know how literal that "son" is. He could be anything from an actual biological child, to an adoptee, to an artificially created life-form that only calls Zeref "father" because he is his creator.
And we've never seen Zeref or anyone other than Larcade himself call him Zeref's son. NoNickNeeded (talk) 17:36, November 4, 2016 (UTC)

Even if Zeref turns out to be an actual biological father of Larcade, the title of prince won't be given to Larcade until he is actually given so in the manga. Miskos3 Message 12:36, November 5, 2016 (UTC)

Categorization

LightningGeist brought it up a good point and Rogue said it as well that he uses White Magic so my questions:

1. Should his 3 magics be considered as spells or magics? (if so, they will all be under White Magic)
2. If magics, should they be considered as white magic variations like Regulus or ice slave?
3. Keep them how they are? On their own as 3 magics and simply stating in Larcade's bio that he uses White Magic in conjunction with them (which I'm cool with)

But wasn't Rogue's line about white magic meant purely in a descriptive way, as in your magic is... well, white? We know that it doesn't refer to an element or 'holiness' as Sting is able to eat anything that is white, we saw him eating a white arrow when he was introduced. that part on rogue will be confirmed when crunchy and raws come out later which will help, I'm about to edit that one part out though in the description, only added it from Yukino's words. The word for white is the same when you are talking about White Magic (ala Final Fantasy) and white magic (as in your magic is colored white). It's context. Sting just eats things that are white, and that includes the light that Larcade's magic exudes. All 3 are just different kinds of magic that target individual desires. Everything is fine, imo.
