Is it Rahkeid or Larcade? I used google translate and it came out to "arcade" so im guessin it's larcade cause it is closer, while Rahkeid is more of just sounding simliar to the romaji. What do you guys think it should be? thx 16:27, May 22, 2016 (UTC)

I think it should be changed to "Larcade". Mainly because that's the name Crunchyroll goes with.
Google Translate isn't a factor as it's translations are unreliable.
LaxusDreyar (talk) 20:27, May 22, 2016 (UTC)

I think it should be Larcade too NcduruRavens wallpaper (2).jpg 20:43, May 22, 2016 (UTC)

It's Rahkeid, all the latest translations call him Rahkeid Dragneel, where the heck did "Larcade" even come from? (Fellgrand (talk) 00:28, November 17, 2016 (UTC))

"Rahkeid" is the Rōmaji version Larcade's name. The english version shows up as Larcade. --The Black Godzilla of Darkness|{{SUBST:SoulRise99 (talk)}} 01:49, November 17, 2016 (UTC)

The fact that Irene puts her "faith" in both Bradman & Larcade, also when Hynhe calling him "Lord" wouldn't cement his status as one of the Shields? I do know it's safer when it's put out explicit. Nameless Knight名も無きん者騎士 (SUMMON ME) 12:48, May 23, 2016 (UTC)

we already talked about that before Kunoichi101 (talk) 03:41, June 1, 2016 (UTC)
Latest chapter confirms he is. Mark Wowdwod (talk) 03:50, July 12, 2016 (UTC)

His Magic

Alright ya'll what you call his magic?Starpower98 (talk) 11:03, July 13, 2016 (UTC)

Rapture because of the word having many connotations in various religions and it usually involving souls ascending to a higher plane of existence. Super Kami Guru (Swiggity swass, I'm gonna violate 'dat ass!) 12:16, July 13, 2016 (UTC)

I think maybe Ankhseram White Magic because since he is Zeref's brother, and Zeref lived 4 centuries to the present, it would somehow make sense that Larcade's magic is Ankhseram White Magic. Please don't give me a bad comment cuz this is from my own point of view.--Dragneel 2353 (talk) 11:01, July 14, 2016 (UTC)

All of this is complete speculation. At this moment in time, his magic should be described in a vague manner in accordance with the most recent chapter. To give it a name so soon when we know very little about it in my view is irresponsible, to go so far as to actively describe it as having anything to do with Ankhseram just downright goes against the very notion of what a wiki is supposed to be; an encylopaedia. By its very definition, an encylopaedia is a book of facts. Speculation is almost the exact opposite of a fact. Any discussion of his magic should be postponed until such point as we can actually establish the facts about it. Derax PaganiSend me a message 11:37, July 14, 2016 (UTC)

What Dex just said. Can't name a Magic if it's not actually named in the chapter. And by the looks of it, it doesn't resemble anything we've come across before. What you guys give is pure speculation, nothing else, to be quite frank

^we should just wait, chapter will be out early so we might get more info. Dm can you add his relative status to Natsu's and Zeref's page though? good look NcduruRavens wallpaper (2).jpg 11:57, July 14, 2016 (UTC)

To be exact, it would most likely be called Soul Extraction Technique. This also goes for Acnologia as well, since he used it to kill 10,000 dragons united with his Dragon Slayer Magic.--The Black Godzilla of Darkness|{{SUBST:SoulRise99 (talk)}} 23:22, September 19, 2016 (UTC)

Still speculation.Scorpio (no bg).pngAnimaltamer7Scorpio08:50, September 20, 2016 (UTC)

Prince of Alvarez

Since Larcade revealed himself to be Zeref's son (by extent, Natsu's nephew), won't that make him the prince and heir to the throne of the Alvarez Empire?

Sure, he is one of the Spriggan 12 but he shares the name and blood of Zeref Dragneel, who's the Emperor of Alvarez, and is a part of the Imperial Family.

Your thoughts and opinions please. --Bato of the Heavy Iron Rock Hammer (talk) 16:43, November 4, 2016 (UTC)

Zeref is immortal and therefore has no need for an heir. Until we are told that the Alvarez empire follows the typical hierarchical standard for monarchies, we will not list him as the prince. In most cases, this would be common sense, but when you have an immortal leader and then your son acting as, not as a prince, but a bodyguard, then you have to question the norm.
WrathYou...wanna talk..?Zero 16:49, November 4, 2016 (UTC)

Oh ok then. So Larcade is the prince and heir of Alvarez "on paper only" right? --Bato of the Heavy Iron Rock Hammer (talk) 17:16, November 4, 2016 (UTC)

On top of what Wrath already said, we also don't know how literal that "son" is. He could be anything from an actual biological child, to an adoptee, to an artificially created life-form that only calls Zeref "father" because he is his creator.
And we've never seen Zeref or anyone other than Larcade himself call him Zeref's son. NoNickNeeded (talk) 17:36, November 4, 2016 (UTC)

I agree. We'll just wait and see more about Larcade once the next FT manga chapter comes out. --Bato of the Heavy Iron Rock Hammer (talk) 12:22, November 5, 2016 (UTC)

Even if Zeref turns out to be an actual biological father of Larcade, the title of prince won't be given to Larcade until he is actually given so in the manga. Miskos3 Message 12:36, November 5, 2016 (UTC)

Guess so. Not even August properly addressed Larcade as His Majesty (unlike Zeref) yet so far if his upset face at him for missing out every meeting when the Spriggan 12 are fully assembled at the FT guildhall tells us. --Bato of the Heavy Iron Rock Hammer (talk) 14:31, November 5, 2016 (UTC)

light magic

I beleie it's an assumption to think the "blades of light" he used was his Pleasure. I think it should be pleasure and light magic. I would like to see what the others think-- 08:07, November 8, 2016 (UTC)

add info??

add new magic to Larcade's page and his weapon?-- 12:24, November 20, 2016 (UTC) s And new abilities, and Hand to Hand Combat level, (I say expert for now), but add in Immense Durability, because he was withstood Holy Ray, and only got a few scratches and was punched by a Holy Nova, and got back up instantly, and didn't looked even bothered by itCoolJazzman (talk) 13:45, November 21, 2016 (UTC)

can someone unlock his page? -- 14:24, November 21, 2016 (UTC)

LightningGeist brought it up a good point and Rogue said it as well that he uses White Magic so my questions:

  1. Should his 3 magics be considered as spells or magics? (if so, they will all be under White Magic)
  2. If magics, should they be considered as white magic variations like Regulus or ice slave?
  3. Keep them how they are? On their own as 3 magics and simply stating in Larcade's bio that he uses White Magic in conjunction with them (which I'm cool with)

I feel like it's something being left out so I wanted to hear others thoughts, wanted to get this figured out Ncduru 14:13, November 29, 2016 (UTC)

But wasn't Rogue's line about white magic meant purely in a descriptive way, as in your magic is... well, white? We know that it doesn't refer to an element or 'holiness' as Sting is able to eat anything that is white, we saw him eating a white arrow when he was introduced. Miskos3 Message 14:40, November 29, 2016 (UTC)

that part on rogue will be confirmed when crunchy and raws come out later which will help, I'm about to edit that one part out though in the description, only added it from Yukino's words. I'm just confused after this chapter if it is considered magics or spells after last week I thought it was all magics, which I'm leaning towards it being Ncduru 14:53, November 29, 2016 (UTC)

I see no issue with the current state of things when it comes to Larcade's 3 main abilities. Miskos3 Message 14:56, November 29, 2016 (UTC)

The word for white is the same when you are talking about White Magic (ala Final Fantasy) and white magic (as in your magic is colored white). It's context. Sting just eats things that are white, and that includes the light that Larcade's magic exudes. All 3 are just different kinds of magic that target individual desires. Everything is fine, imo.
WrathYou...wanna talk..?Zero 17:49, November 29, 2016 (UTC)

sounds good to me, I'm guessing the paper tags are just aesthetics for his magics then, they're dope Ncduru 21:44, November 29, 2016 (UTC)

Can we start adding in more to his Abilites like his Immense Durability and Hand to Hand combat skills please. CoolJazzman (talk) 18:42, December 5, 2016 (UTC)

Curse or Magic?

Should we change magic power to curse power? And the same for his spells?--Paribus (talk) 23:45, March 12, 2017 (UTC)

I don't think so, Larcade openly stated his power is Magic in Chapter 508-509. Red Riding Hood赤いず乗りきん頭巾 (Speaketh) 21:11, April 20, 2017 (UTC)
