Since his name was given as Rala in one of these anime captions that seem to be generally correct, I thought this change should be at least considered. 188.171.24.60 11:46, June 27, 2015 (UTC)
It could be considered, but he is referred to as Lala all other places I know of so... basically, I think we're better off keeping his name as it is. Wonder Talk ★★16:29,8/20/2015
Based on this discussion following the anime format would be more consistent, but it all ends with what the majority decides. LightningGeist 16:40, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
Has anyone actually checked that he was referred to as Rala in the anime though? Cause' I am almost certain he was referred to as Lala in one of the anime episodes I saw a while ago... Wonder Talk ★★16:43,8/20/2015
I too think I remember him being spoken 'Lala' by all the VAs. I think that's more important than the anime subtitles. NoNickNeeded (talk) 16:45, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
The anon is talking about the 'name tags' that the anime started using in a similar manner that the manga does, in Sun Village arc. They also include English romanizations. In fact, we used these for 9DMG name changes. Miskos3 Message 16:58, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
Ah, I see. Would that mean his name should be changed? Wonder Talk ★★17:11,8/20/2015
We can definitely put up a voting, like we did with 9DMG. Miskos3 Message 17:13, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
By all means, go right ahead. :) Wonder Talk ★★17:16,8/20/2015
Well, this discussion is it lol Miskos3 Message 17:23, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
- Also, I just want to add that the name tags are not subtitles. So they come directly from the anime team Miskos3 Message 17:28, August 20, 2015 (UTC)

- Support - Coz its the same thing done with the 9DMG, both used in the anime and kodansha, and for the sake of uniformity i guess, and if we just base it on how it was pronounced then carla should be changed to sharuru. LightningGeist 18:05, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
- Support - ^ Basically this. Plus L and R are interchangeable when it comes to Japanese anyways. Miskos3 Message 18:11, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
- Support - I'd rather take what a lot of official media says over what an unofficial group says. Also, Lala is a blatant girl's name. There isn't anything unisex about it, lol.
WrathZero 18:40, August 20, 2015 (UTC) - Support - Lala sounds like "Nana". Nana is from Nintendo. --ಠ◡ಠ 19:15, August 20, 2015 (UTC)

Oppose[]
- Oppose - NoNickNeeded (talk) 17:26, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose - Consistency is key and from what I've seen he is referred to and written as Lala all other places except for those name tags. Wonder Talk ★★17:55,8/20/2015

- Neutral - I'm really fine either way. Whatever you guys decide is fine with me. ^^ DispellingMage 18:43, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
- Neutral - Totally agree with Wrath, in addition it sounds like a teletubby. However, the number of fucks I don't give isn't far off approaching a google. Derax 18:50, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
