Shouldn't it be mentioned in his Magic and Abilities section that he can use Air, Water and Earth Magic, too? He never displayed their use, but since he can cast Abyss Break, a spell that requires the combination of all four elements, he should be able to use all four elements separately. TheGrudge 15:09, May 24, 2012 (UTC)
I agree with him, but he was clearly ignored. So, I was wondering if you would mind giving us your precious opinion? Please? Thanks. :)01:47,3/30/2013
Support -- I personally support it,seeing how it was stated that Abyss Break can be used by channeling the Four Elements and use them. I wouldn't say Jellal has incredible mastery over them. But it should be at least mentioned that he can utilize them. If Makarov's page has Wind Magic, this should be in Jellal's. MarineroLelouch (talk) 13:58, February 3, 2014 (UTC)
Support - We should atleast mention that he can also use the other elemental magics. Besides he was a wizard saint so im sure hes cable of using the other elemental magic enough to be able to cast Abyss Break on his own, so i dont think he can only use the other magic on a basic level since the phantom lord needed 4 elemental specialist just to create the said spell, atleast mention it like its on the same level as his fire magic mastery. Just like in avatar, jellal should be a master of the four elements. XD 17:35, July 12, 2014 (UTC)
Support - Exactly, Mirajane already explained that Abyss Break is a magic that requires all four elements to cast, so it's obvious that Jellal have the power of the Four Elements. 18:23, July 12, 2014 (UTC)
First, I'm loling at the fact that this was picked up like 2 years after it was posted here (though, with the tone given by the second poster, I can see why >__>), but because you all seem so set on an answer, I will give my opinion. I Support - a change. What I mean by this is that we DO have an inconsistency. The Abyss Break page says this can be done by a person who has knowledge of the four elements and references Jellal, yet Jellal's page does not say he uses the four elements as Magic. One way or another something has to be changed and I say that adding Earth, Water and Wind Magic to Jellal's page is the way to go. Unless someone has an extreme reason for not wanting this to occur, I'll change it in a little while. Thanks. 04:19, July 15, 2014 (UTC)
I was just noticing... In the official English translation, Jellal's last name get's spelled with a Z. Maybe this is nitpicky of me, but I thought that maybe it could be changed. --Snowsiren 8:23, April 8, 2013 (UTC)
Hi there. Can you please specify what your source is? Is it a volume or an online translation? And if it is a volume, can you specify which one?

Sorry, I think that link's bad: --Snowsiren 11:27, April 20, 2013 (UTC)
The link is not bad. This discussion will be checked later. Thank you. :)

Hey guys... uhm... I've been wondering about why in Jellal's infobox he has brown eye color when there are some images of him that have a greenish but a bit brownish eye color which would be olive. Well, look at his eyes from this image and zoom it in. (I know it's a crappy edit (_ _) I just wanted to emphasize his eyes)
In addition, there are also these images (this and this) which would prove that his eyes aren't brown. At first, when you see some of the images, his eyes are brown in color, but if you look closely, they are a bit greenish, or something between brown and green. Since they don't really look brown, and they aren't full green either, I suggest we use olive as his eye color. 12:32AM, April 30, 2013
If I remembered it correctly, Ultra told me that a discussion were held, and the result would be keeping Brown as Jellal's eye color.
That is, if my memory is not toying with me. >.>
- I don't remember any discussion, and there wasn't any above too. I don't think my eyes are kidding me into thinking that his eyes are olive with those images. So I wanted clarity. 12:39AM, April 30, 2013
I did say brown would be kept as an eye color Choko, but that conversation we had was referring to Cana, not Jellal.
Anyways, I just took a look at some colored media, specifically this and this and Jellal's eyes here actually appear to be more along the lines of blue than anything else. So if we can get some more media in here, we can widen our range of resources.

Don't we follow manga though? They are clearly brown here, for example. Just checked it, zoomed in PS while using the Eyedropper tool > Color picker multiple times. I couldn't find any sign of green. 16:42, April 29, 2013 (UTC)
I trust a volume cover more than a chapter. I'll have to agree with Ultra.

- *is crazy now... more than ever* 12:49AM, April 30, 2013
Good point. Although the volume is fairly old, Mashima tends to change stuff around... Aren't there any newer ones with Jellal in it? Or Mystogan. They should be the same =O
He did it for volume 12, too. I think a difference as big as volume 12 to 18 is trustable enough.
16:55, April 29, 2013 (UTC)
If, just if, we were to use blue, wouldn't we be making more confusions? I mean, how should we say that Jellal's real eye color is blue when we are more into using images with olive-colored eyes? 1:56AM, April 30, 2013
It's just like Kagura's hair.
18:00, April 29, 2013 (UTC)
I'm not even sure what to vote for... Honestly speaking, characters mostly get notable eye colors when their faces are zoomed in or are the center of focus. Since the volume covers appear to be indifferent with colors for Jellal's eyes, I think we would have to go to manga colors or artwork as a secondary source. His picture here seems to be a decent indication... so I'm leaning towards Brown for now.
18:22, April 29, 2013 (UTC)
Brown of course. The latest manga drawings have it as brown. Also, they are all brown in the anime. Just cuz they have a small tint of green doesn't make them green or olive. 20:04, April 29, 2013 (UTC)
I'd say brown for the reasons Reli just listed, and I'd also like to point out Volume Covers aren't "more credible" than chapter covers. I think whatever comes the latest and has the most backing is more credible. ✦Rai✦22:26,4/29/2013
It looks more of brown rather than olive
Brown seems quite dandy.

Firstly, HOW DARE YOU ALL HAVE A CONVERSATION ABOUT MY DARLING WHILST I AM ASLEEP!! Shame on you all!! Shame.on.you!! D:<
Now, I absolutely hate it when the media clashes, particularly Mashima and his stupid and constant colour changes. However, and I know you will all hate me for it, I have always thought Jellal's eyes were olive coloured * ^ * My baby wouldn't have something as boring as brown >__>
04:13, April 30, 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's a problem when different media tells different things. And something boring as brown.... boring... brown.... :'( 12:18PM, April 30, 2013
It looks brown, imo.05:01, April 30, 2013 (UTC)
actually now im seeing it more of olive than brown
Brown seems like his eye color.

We have three choices, please vote for one.
Support - No matter which image it is, to me its brown. Olive is a good one, but the automatic colour(yes I spell it this way outside of articles) that comes to mind is brown. Or maybe that's just cause my own eye colour is dark brown. -- 05:57, May 3, 2013 (UTC)
Support - Mashima uses blue for a majority of Jellal's appearances in color. The new brown from the Fantasia artbook is very likely just a one of those swaps that he did for a special color, such as with Gajeel in his first volume cover appearance.
Shouldn't Jellal have Immense Endurance rather than "enhanced" Endurance? He has repeatedly cast powerful spells one after another and after getting beaten up. He cast Self Destruction (big enough to destroy Nirvana and another one to kill himself),then gotten beaten up by Midnight then still had the endurance and magic to make Natsu go Dragon Force. And now in his latest fight, after taking all that hit,he casts Three Demonsional Seal Formation,Grand Chariot and Sema in succession with ease. Is there a higher endurance feat in the series? In the Tower Of Heaven,,Meteor,Altearis(a spell implied to be able to kill Erza and Natsu in there) all those blasts,Grand Chariot and after getting beaten the shit out of him he could still cast Abyss Break. The wound kicking in shouldn't have anything to do with his endurance. He also managed to face off against natsu after being heavily impaled by erza.
Earthland Jellal and Edolas Jellal
Why does this page treat Earthland's Jellal and Edolas Jellal as the same person? 184.108.40.206 15:59, May 14, 2014 (UTC)
- Mystogan has his own page.

Whether it is planned to add to the section "Appearances in Other Media" Jellal's appearance in the Christmas Omake? User:Ксиле́ма 10:12, December 16, 2015 (UTC)
- It'll happen at some point. Main story manga is our immediate priority.

Since his page is locked, maybe someone should add this to his quote section:
(To Erza Scarlet) "No...I won't flee any longer. I've come here to...defeat Zeref once and for all."
Done (220.127.116.11 19:26, April 24, 2016 (UTC))
Crime Sorcière symbol
Um since this page is locked i would line to point out that someone has erased Jellal's Crime Sorcière symbol. (18.104.22.168 01:14, May 27, 2016 (UTC))
You know, I think Jellal's X791 appearance would look great as a procile picture if it's cropped. (22.214.171.124 18:03, July 17, 2016 (UTC))
