Iced Shell is an static ice make but it should be categorized as "forbidden" because of its side effects.. i think

Name of Article[]

Can it really be called ice magic? because in Japanese the kanji for Gray and Leons magic is called Hyojin which means Ice form or formation, as opposed to Hyo-mahou(Ice Magic) so wouldnt make more sense to call it Ice Alchemy? Umibouzu 23:33, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Im not saying that it needs to be Alchemy , but it isnt ice magic(more like it isnt called ice magic), it clearly says its not, but the point is to change the Article to a more suitable name. maybe just ICE MAKE? -Umi (didnt feeel like signing in)

I plan on changing this article to Ice Make until there is any further credible evidence that it should be Ice Magic( as discussed many times before on this wiki, English manga isnt a credible source) -Umi

Agreed. It's a definite thing that defines two different styles of the magic. Two hands is slower but has more control, while one hand has faster spells with less control and more danger, etc... Will 12:57, June 25, 2011 (UTC)

It doesn't matter if you use both hands or not it doesn't determine if the spell is static or dynamic. Static Ice-Make are inanimate objects while Dynamic can move. Although I don't know whether the spell is dynamic or not. Remnant13 Talk 13:57,4/3/2012 13:57, April 3, 2012 (UTC)

Dynamic or Static?[]

Are we really sure that following are dynamic?:

Since that SDynamic Ice-make is supposed to be moving but these are not moving so shuld we put them as static instead? Animaltamer⁷

Diamond Cage is definitely dynamic as it grows by itself. The other two I'm not sure, but maybe Mashima drew them as dynamics and the animators just didn't animate it correctly RelikzTalk 21:02, April 20, 2012 (UTC)

Freeze[]
