Can we replace the two tables under the Participants section with this? The two tables share almost the same information and the proposed tables is shorter. (Also, if you want, we can replace the anime pictures with those of the manga, depicting their appearance and clothing in the current arc) 10:38, February 3, 2012 (UTC)
I think you should put some space between the pictures20:24, February 3, 2012 (UTC)
- Now it looks a bit weird. I'll show what I mean in my sandbox, hold on a sec 21:11, February 3, 2012 (UTC)
- Never mind, I tried it here but the second table also has the "wikitable" class for some reason 21:21, February 3, 2012 (UTC)
Replacing Battle Portion
Would you guys like to use this table instead of the current design of the battle portion of the tournament? 10:21, March 4, 2012 (UTC)
LOL, that was actually going to be the first job for the Dragons of Design13:18, March 4, 2012 (UTC)
I think that Jellal must be delated and instead, add Mystogan because he entered under that name and nobody (instead Fairy Tail and Jura) knows about him Dragon NJMB 08:43, March 20, 2012 (UTC)
But it would be false information. Jellal is participating, not Mystogan.15:56,3/20/2012
Should we add in the Participants table that Elfman and Bacchus are Reserve members? --geohound 12:15, March 30, 2012 (UTC) i don't think is elfman the riserve but wendy because aven in the team stat there is elfman but not wendy and in the stats there are only the team member without the reserve --Nitram86 15:21, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
Support - I agree. Wendy is the reserve member. She was not present when the official members were announced and she was included as a reserve member. She was also referred to as a reserve member by Porlyuscia (about re-joining in the tournament) Umnei 11:50, April 22, 2012 (UTC)
- I dont see your point. IMO its more important when the team was created. Elfman just took Wendys place in the last moment because Wendy wasn't there - that is what you call a RESERVE MEMBER. --geohound 16:23, May 3, 2012 (UTC)
I don't see the point of waiting till the end, but I didn't add it. Idk who did.
I just saw Chapter 287 raw and it looks like Raven Tail is going to get disqualified. Is there anyway that we can modify the Raven Tail bar on the score table to show it? You know, maybe make it with black bacground with white highlights or text? I'd do it myself, but I have no idea how. (Shadoguardian 08:42, June 15, 2012 (UTC))
So, no thanks to Erza's 100 monster stunt, it would seem that FTA walks away with heaps of points and the other teams get none...
I want to see what you guys think, but I don't think this should be added to the final tally/the results of the event recorded in any way until we have confirmation next chapter that this score will stand. The judges could choose to change something/award different points or whatever.
So, as we have no confirmation as to the current score, I vote keeping it blank for now. I put this discussion up because we already have people adding 100 to FTA and 0 to the others.
01:12, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
I say wait. And also damn you Erza.01:18,5/26/2012
The way i see it the points of this event are not to be added to the total score, but they are like with hidden, only used to deside who wins, who comes in second etc. I personly think Erza will get 10 point for winning, and unless the judges desides to have some kind of tie breaker, the rest will get either 0 points for last place (which is what i think) or perhaps alternativly everyone would get 8 points for second pace (this would seem really stupid tough) --Cosmikaze 18:17, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
Grand Magic Games X79...3?
I don't know if anyone noticed, but when the lacrima vision screens said that it was the year X793. Did Fairy Tail decide to only take part in the the games two years after the timeskip? I would have written it off as maybe a writers error, except that it appeared twice, and repeatedly. Do we rename this page? Thoughts on this?
(Shadoguardian 04:54, May 26, 2012 (UTC))
Yeah, I noticed that too. But there was no sign anywhere about another 2 years time-skip. As far as I'm aware that is. However there is X793 in the raw version as well. --22.214.171.124 08:45, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
Umm... X793 appeared again in chapter 285, page 5. What's going on? Do we still do nothing? (Shadoguardian 14:14, June 2, 2012 (UTC))
You don't suppose all the fillers are going to take two years, Fairy Tail world time, do you? (Shadoguardian 15:07, June 30, 2012 (UTC))
- I seriously doubt it, and I really hope not. ✦Rai✦15:09,6/30/2012
- Considering that they just released info of the remainders of Oracion Seis returning, it certainly is a possibility, isn't it?
(Shadoguardian 17:35, June 30, 2012 (UTC))
- It's a possibility, but I don't think Mashima would do something like that. That's a huge plot hole. We all know that 84 plus seven is 91 and to try to slip in 93 to fit the anime doesn't seem like something that'd happen. ✦Rai✦17:45,6/30/2012
the problem is how much time has passed between the return of the fairy and the grand magic games 3 month for the training for sure so it must the 392 if the year has pass the grand magic games is in july --Nitram86 09:25, July 13, 2012 (UTC)
In chapter 293 there is 791. 793 was just an error it seams.11:13, July 27, 2012 (UTC)
I noticed several times in the manga that after (approx.) chapter 285, the year sign changed from X791 to X793, clearly. At first I was confused, but later a Japanese friend told me that Japanese fans reminded Mashima that it should take at least two years to end the Zantopia event (anime filler), so Mashima changed it. In the manga, Yukino also refers to that event in chapter 282, suggesting that it also, albeit undetailed, happened in the manga. Marco the Marine Admiral (talk) 03:31, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but unless we get official confirmation of this it remains a rumor and nothing more. ✦Rai✦03:49,7/17/2012
My assumption is that it was going to be a minor alteration and they probably wanted to push the GMG back to 793 since the anime had the whole KotSS arc, and possible an extra filler, but in a last minute change, they went back to their original plan and Season 4 of the anime started with GMG. Just my assumption though, since "793" popped up way too many times to be chalked off as a mistake.
Day 4 Event in Points Table
The points table still has not been updated to include Day 4's event title, Naval Battle 126.96.36.199 19:05, July 20, 2012 (UTC)
- It'll be updated soon. ✦Rai✦19:06,7/20/2012
Should FTA's Naval battle points be given to TFT as TFT got all of FTA points(MOD)
Should we make a second points chart? The first chart for before Team Fairy Tail, and the second one for after?
Day 4 points confusion
Shouldn't Team FT have 18 points for Day 4 (8 from Naval and 10 for the Tag Battle)?--188.8.131.52 14:28, September 5, 2012 (UTC)
Day 4 still consisted of both Team Fairy Tail A and B, so both of their points are listed as 8 and 6 respectively in the chart
Day 5 Event Name
I've read the translation of the chapter 304, and I'm confused about the event name. The translations all start with Grand Magic, but the last bit is either Tournament, War Games, Battle Royale, Survival Game or just Games. Can anyone tell me which translation is correct? (Shadoguardian (talk) 11:20, October 22, 2012 (UTC))
Day 5 table
What about the following tables to help us keep track of the last day?
Since the current table is temporary and will be probably reelaborated after the event is finished, the current participants could be displayed for now, like in the first table.
Another possibility would be 2 tables, one for scores and one for the remaining participants (which would be excluded after the event is finished), similar to how the teams are displayed in this same very page. I made it below aswell, with the current events.
|Guild||Team||Team Leader||Remaining participants||No. of Opponents Defeated||Current Score||Current Total|
|Team Lamia Scale||?|| Jura Neekis|
|Team Sabertooth||?|| Sting Eucliffe|
|Team Fairy Tail||?|| Gray Fullbuster|
|Team Mermaid Heel||?|| Kagura Mikazuchi|
|Team Blue Pegasus||Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki||None||2||2||32|
|Team Quatro Puppy||Bacchus||None||0||0||15|
I don't think that is a good idea. In the end, the current table is going to be deleted as their will be no reason to have some of its aspects. The only thing you want to change is the list of the remaining participants with are not necessary as when the event is finished their will be none remaining and the table will just be deleted. 22:04, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
- That's exactly what I said, the table would be temporary until the event is finished, then it could be removed. But since this last day event will take long, the information should be somewhere. Martios (talk) 22:07, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
Fairy Tail's team leader
I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say I think it was Erza, it felt to me like that was implied through the battle between her and Minerva. —This unsigned comment was made by Rmac107 (talk • contribs) .

Who defeated who?
I was just wondering if we can add a section of who defeated who for Day 5 of the Grand Magic Games. All it shows was that how many people has the team defeated/lost and how many points they gained.12:50, October 9, 2013 (UTC)
There is a mistake
In the fourth day of the grand magic games, team Fairy tail scored 18 points not 10 (As stated in the chart). I don't know how to change this, so I am pointing it out to other users so they can change it.
- That's not a mistake. When Lucy and Juvia got their respective points from Naval Battle, they were still part of Fairy Tail A and B. For that reason those points don't show up in the day's end statistic, only in the statistic for Naval Battle and the overall score. NoNickNeeded (talk) 08:39, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
I'm also an editing noob and I don't know how to add this, but I don't see it mentioned that the people in charge of the games are called the "Grand Magic Games Executive Committee" according to the anime. Episode 156 3:46. This is my first wiki edit ever so tell me if I did something wrong.
- Don't worry you didn't do anything wrong. Actually you did exactly the right thing. When you don't know how to do it or are unsure if it should be done in the first place, make a suggestion on the Talk page of the article.
- As for the comittee... I think that would go on the GMG's general page and not the X791 specific one, since they won't change the name of the comittee each year, but I'm not sure where to add it there either. NoNickNeeded (talk) 08:44, April 2, 2015 (UTC)
