Loke

I'm not sure if this has been brought up or not, but why is Loke listed as a Mage? Isn't he technically a Celestial Spirit?—This unsigned comment was made by Pie4ever0 (talk • contribs) .

He is still considered a member, as can be seen in the Tenrou Island arc. He has his guild mark on his back, even though he is a Celestial Spirit. Ultraprime2Let's talk 20:51, March 28, 2013 (UTC)

Active Mages

Why are Wang ChanJi, Tono Rabbits, Chico=C=Hammitt and Joey Fullborn still listed as active?

After the timeskip we only see them in the big "Unity" picture, but even there they stand apart from the confirmed current members of Fairy Tail. Shouldn't they be put to unknown like Korv, Niggy, Mickey Chickentiger, Mikuni Shin and Enno? NoNickNeeded (talk) 10:27, August 3, 2013 (UTC)

Third Building

WARNING! Spoilers for those who have not read the manga!

Now that the guild has been restored, what shall we call it? Third building? We also need to update the pages, as all of the Fairy Tail mages have their current location as "Second Building".

(Personally, I think it should be Fourth. The one Gajeel destroyed being first, your first being second, the one outside the city being third, and the restored building being fourth...)

While you do actually make sense, I think the restored guild building was exactly the very same as the First Building in design and, of course, the location. Well as it already says, it's just a restored version of the first one, so making another page for it will be pretty much unneeded, imo.  11:23AM, July 16, 2013

Fairy Tail Logo development

I recently bought the first three volumes of the manga and found something that might be of interest in the extra pages of volume 2. In there is a page with fifteen different versions, or rather iterations, of the Fairy Tail logo that Hiro Mashima drew until he arrived at the current one.

I was wondering if I should scan it and upload it to the wikia, and if yes, if I need to do anything more than just removing the text (which is in german anyway, except for three scribblings in hiragana) to avoid copyright issues? NoNickNeeded (talk) 17:28, January 22, 2014 (UTC)

Members

What is the criteria used in the sorting of the members in the list?

Can we sort them alphabetically by groups? Guild Masters, S-Class, Mages (Team Natsu), Mages (Rescue Team (rest of)), Mages (Thunder God Tribe), Mages (Team Shadow Gear), Mages (Others), Mages (Team Makarov), Founder, Excommunicated.—This unsigned comment was made by 61.62.201.93 (talk • contribs) .

We initially sort them by their rank, but after S-Class Mages and S-Class candidates, there's really no particular order. And frankly, I don't really see that there needs to be an order. Jakuho Raikoben13:31,2/14/2014

Chapter 437

After what happened in Chapter 437 the guild has officially been called refounded, so we shouldn't feature anyone who has been a member before as a former member neither the guild as disbanded, like Cana said: "EVERYONE is back." and ready to refound Fairy Tail. --SnowFairyTail (talk) 11:44, May 25, 2015 (UTC)

Deciding to found a guild and actually founding it are two different things. Sure they are together and have decided to refound it, but as far as I'm concerned they haven't done it yet.

Imagine it this way: They made the marriage proposal, settled on a date, but have yet to go to a priest or government official to do the actual ceremony. NoNickNeeded (talk) 12:22, May 25, 2015 (UTC)

Agreed @Miskos3. Plus the next chapter is called the seventh guild master. If you want them to go to the preist or government I think you can wait pretty long as I doubt Mashima thinks we are that techincal.

Thunder God Tribe and Laxus

While I'm sure they'll appear next week, shouldn't they be listed as "Left Guild" instead of "Active" since they're not present at it's reformation. Perhaps the same for Gildarts since he wasn't present either. JayAaerow (talk) 05:34, June 4, 2015 (UTC)

Another thing that concerns me, especially surrounding these four: would everyone still have their Fairy Tail crests even after the guild's disbandment in Chapter 416? Because it occurs to me that if Fairy Tail mages still have their guild marks, they still have the Tenrou Tree's divine protection/power-boost while on Tenrou Island should they go there. And Laxus in particular, who was still not at 100 percent the last we saw him as I might point out, needs all the healing help he can get after Tempesta's dirty trick. Would the Tenrou Tree's magic absolve him of any lingering Magical Barrier Particle damage, were he to go to Tenrou Island bearing a Fairy Tail crest once more? Fairy Tail's current status and Active Mages

I've seen in the first table that the type of Fairy Tail appears as "Legal Guild (Disbanded)" but the Guild is no longer disbanded, because Jura Neekis said in Chapter 440, page 13 that all the papers were correct and "Fairy Tail is officially back in business".

Also, I think that the list of members should be updated. After Fairy Tail's reunion in Chapter 437, there are some members that are not showed, and so their status should be "Unknown" : Chico C Hammitt, Joey Fullborn, Tono Rabbits and Wan Chanzi.

I've noticed that in the table it is stated that the location of the guild is "Magnolia Town (Former)". But the building is under reconstruction and the base of the guild is still in Magnolia. And yeah, now has been revealed that Yury is dead.

Erza Scarlet's Rank

Just realized that Gildarts got both ranks Guild Master and S-Class Mage, Shouldn't Erza also get S-Class mage in her rank? As she is one of the S-Class Mages. (This applies to Fairy Tail's members list)

And this links shows that she is S-Class Mage (just in case)

I think that's because Gildarts quit being a master, basically, it's saying that he's a current S-Class Mage AND a former (5th) guild master. Meanwhile, Erza is still a guild master at the moment, nothing more. If Erza ceases to be a guild master and goes back to a regular guild member, then we can put it there. Mavis: Decesead --> Fairy Heart

Natsu, Happy, Wendy, Carla: Team Natsu --> Team Natsu / Flying dragon squad

Gajeel, Panther lily: None --> Flying dragon squad

Alzack, Bisca: None --> Osprey squad (asuka is missing)

We already have both the article and all set on this article for Team Natsu. Also, referring you to this discussion.
I agree for Osprey Squad, but, regarding Asuka, there was a discussion whether she is an FT member or not so I'll follow that and not add anything.

I gotta warn you for SPOILERS, though, so read at your own risk.

The guild was disbanded after the guild war betwixt Fairy Tail and Tartaros, the guild building was destroyed after all. A year after, after short series of events, Fairy Tail members reunite and establish the guild once more. Since Makarov was gone (in the enemy empire at another continent), however, they needed a substitute Guild Master, so Mest/Doranbolt declared Erza so and everyone agreed. When the members saved Makarov from the enemy, he took over once more.
So there you have it in short. I hope I helped you in answering questions and, if not, feel free to ask anything else you might have, either here if it's related to this specific article itself, or on my talk page.

Update

This article needs an update. The image of the location still points the Second Building, while they have already moved back to the First one. Current/Former location pic

The tabs for the pictures of the current and former location are still in their pre-GMG configuration, with showing the temporary Guild-Hall at the outskirts of town as the current one. This should be changed, to show that they moved back to their original location (and subsequently had it destroyed and rebuilt again ^^ ).
The main text already states it, but the picture captions and tab-texts don't.

Founder instead of none for team

I am just curious as to why we would not have mavis, warrod, prechet, and yuri, instead of saying none for team change it to founders and put them at the top of the list. That and Warrod was part of the team that went to fend off God Serena ... not sure if they had a team name but still part of a team.--Stellar Forger (talk) 01:17, May 22, 2016 (UTC)

Just wondering, shouldn't Gajeel's status on the members' table be 'Unknown' instead of 'Active'? Cos it's pretty inconsistent having 'Unknown' on Gajeel's page and 'Active' on this page. I'd edit it myself but I don't have permission...

Excommunicated

Don't know why this article is locked. The proper term is exiled. Excommunicated is a religious term that has to do with the Catholic church which wouldn't exist in Fairy Tail. Can somebody fix it? SeaTerror (talk) 21:23, September 4, 2017 (UTC)
