Cover 446

On the cover of Chapter 446, Dimaria and her fellow Spriggans are colored for the first time. I have somehow been able to figure out what color the eyes of the others are, however, I can't figure out what her eye color is. For me it's either black or some kind of green, but I can't figure out which of them it is.

Cover is on the right:

We should wait for raws as scanslators may have altered the color when cleaning the page Miskos3 Message 14:22, July 27, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, ok. Here, when I enlarge it, I can clearly see the eyes as black and brown (both together). Onfire.gif Wonder Talk 17:08, July 27, 2015 (UTC)

Her eyes are clearly brown peeps. Enlarge the picture of the volume and you can clearly see that. Iam...    JakuhōRaikōben 19:58,7/27/2015

Epithet[]

It seems her epithet change in chapter 452

Dimaria

Previously it was (chapter 445) :

Dimaria

so could we change it ?

It's been many months, but after going back through old Crunchyroll chapters I found that Dimaria's name is actually spelled as "DiMaria" with a capital M. Not to mention that "DiMaria" is a real name (seen here). I propose a vote. Immblueversion (talk) 17:23, January 20, 2016 (UTC)

DiMaria is a foreign last name, and he has used the likes of Precht and Geoffrey (for now, until A-1 potentially curveballs us), so I think it'll do fine.

Dimaria's Magic[]

Ok so according to crunchyroll, Dimaria's quote: "Want to know why I can control time, I'll show you my true power". It appears that having Chronos (God of Time) as her God Soul is the reason how she was able to control time like she did. She may can use Chronos abilities but that's not really her magic. Her magic is really Take-Over, so we should change that and bring down the Age Seal right after her God Soul: Chronos spell whenever her page is updated, right?Starpower98 (talk) 10:13, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

I think she was just bragging cause she's kinda cocky, she used Age Seal before going into Chronos... it's kinda like how at first I thought Natsu's demolition fist would be under his Fire King Dragon Mode but he used it before going into that mode, wasn't the case NcduruRavens wallpaper (2) 13:20, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

She can be cocky for sure, but I'm not sure if she really is just bragging. It could be possible that she been using a portion of her power from her Chronos form without the need to use her God Soul and the same might apply to Natsu as well unless he uses more of those Fire Dragon King spells without his Fire King Dragon Mode but still, it may explain how she was able to control time based on the crunchyroll's translation of her quoteStarpower98 (talk) 13:39, March 2, 2016 (UTC)
yeah I hear what're you saying. But all that is speculation either way, we saw her use Age Seal in her regular state so that's all we can go off of NcduruRavens wallpaper (2) 13:46, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

I think Starpower's right. If I reccall correctly, Mirajane also used Macro before she took over Seilah. It might be that Dimaria can also use a part of Chronos power without using a complete Take Over.--Paribus (talk) 18:45, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

In their battle, Mirajane used Take Over on Seilah's power to use Macro, in other words, it didn't happen without the use of Take Over in some way Miskos3 Message 18:46, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

Yup, that's what happened. I think Age Seal should be part of her Take Over of Chronos, like it was done in Mirajane's case.--Paribus (talk) 19:04, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

But there was no Chronos nearby for Dimaria to take over ;o I wouldn't compare the two cases. Miskos3 Message 19:12, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

What do you mean by there was no Chronos nearby?Starpower98 (talk) 19:15, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

I was answering, or more like, correcting Paribus' statement. He or she compared Dimaria's time abilities to Mirajane being able to use Macro before performing a full take over. However, in Mirajane's case, she had to directly touch Seilah and perform an 'order' the very same moment, while Dimaria has full access to time stopping powers without having to 'touch' or take over Chronos, at any time. So that's why the analogy doesn't work and Mirajane cannot be used as a precedent to claim that Age Seal comes from Take Over. Miskos3 Message 19:20, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

Oh. Well actually if you think about it, she can be used as a precendent cause you know like you said there was no Chronos nearby which is because Dimaria already used Take-Over on him back in Mildian which there was Chronos nearby then. And according to her quote and the fact she can stop time without the need to using her Chronos (God of Time) form, she really had done the same what Mirajane did to Seilah.Starpower98 (talk) 19:33, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

No, what happened was Mirajane forced Seilah to issue an order by taking her over, thus forcing Seilah herself to issue the command that allowed Elfman to come, as evidenced by the fatigue Seilah felt. Here, it's implied that Chronos is the one in control of Dimaria's body in the God Soul, and we have Dimaria descending from an ancient people who worshiped the God of Time himself. Dimaria also implied that Chronos taught her how to stop time independent of God Soul. So no, they aren't alike at all.
WrathYou...wanna talk.Zero 19:37, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

I had to re-read the chapter, but Seilah made it pretty clear that only she can give herself orders, and Mirajane then says that she ordered Elfman to come. So, unless the translation is wrong or I misinterpreted, I don't think mine and Starpower's conjecture can be rejected just yet.--Paribus (talk) 19:45, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

The whole point of Take Over is that it manipulates and controls demons. It isn't limited to just absorption. Mirajane forced Seilah to issue an order because she took her over partially. She didn't absorb Seilah's power at that point. Remember the tentacle demons? Mirajane ordered them to blow up. She can take control of demons with her power as well, and manipulate them. That is what happened. Dimaria's Age Seal exists outside of her Take Over. She implied that Chronos taught her how to use it outside of the God Soul. That's just the bottom line and since there is no evidence to specify otherwise, it has to stay as it is.
WrathYou...wanna talk.Zero 19:51, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

Yeah, I realized what you meant later, but I wasn't fast enough to edit. I went to read yet again the chapter and Seilah implied that Mirajane used Take Over on Macro. Again, it might be bad translation, but I can see your point and it makes sense.--Paribus (talk) 19:55, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

My points of view are based on the japanese, and then combining what they say with what the official english releases say, because those are usually pretty clear-cut.
WrathYou...wanna talk.Zero 19:57, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

Well, since you have better sources I can't argue further. I guess I'll trust your point of view.--Paribus (talk) 20:01, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

I know her Take Over makes her manipulate and control demons and isn't limited to just absorption, but thing is she never controlled Seilah cause she said it didn't had an effect on her remember? As for Dimaria's Age Seal, there's no evidence implying that Chronos taught her to use that outside her God Soul, but there is evidence that shows a Take-Over mage can use their entities power as their own by using their Take-Over on their ability which is what Dimaria really have shown to have done when she has Chronos, used her Take-Over to not only take-over Chronos himself but his time-stopping power.Starpower98 (talk) 21:28, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

In Fairy tail (2018) Episode 22, when Dimaria in her God Soul was fighting Sherria did she use Air magic because it look like she did?(Shemar322 (talk) 01:08, March 22, 2019 (UTC))

Swordsmanship[]

Why isn't DiMaria have "swordsmanship" as an ability? Regardless how little she used it it should be there under her abilites. If Gray has it under his she should have it under hers. You use a sword in FT you have the ability. My two cents, agree? 73.191.17.103 12:40, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

Seems like she did showed proficiency with it in the last chapter, so yeah she do got some swordmanship skills.71.50.115.253 12:55, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

The difference is that we saw Gray swordfighting against and hitting moving targets that fought back.

With Dimaria on the other hand, we only ever saw her hitting unmoving targets. Granted, her missing Wendy could be attributed to Wendy's speed or the surprise of Wendy suddenly no longer being frozen, but since we have yet to see Dimara hit a moving target, saying she's proficient in swordfighting would be speculation, since we've never seen her do so.
NoNickNeeded (talk) 13:21, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

I see your point nick, but can't lie I gotta side with anon, she combated with Kagura and went par for par, even though they just clashed for a second but still they clashed.. Even Makarov said she's a "female knight" knights usually are good with swords and we seen her swing it around to cut people's clothes off lol NcduruRavens wallpaper (2) 13:42, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

She had a swordsmanship section, but I removed it 'cuz the only feat that was entered turned out to not be a feat. Now, she has no noteworthy feats. She doesn't get the section. --Sane Lunatic (talk) 13:46, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

Teleportation magic?[]

so in chapter 503, she seems to teleport. So is this true teleportation magic, or is she manipulating time so that she just SEEMS to teleport?

Beholderface (talk) 11:38, September 27, 2016 (UTC)

The latter. She even did that tooth-clicking thing. For someone who's stopped in time, it looks like teleportation, but Dimaria just stopped time, walked over there and then let time resume. NoNickNeeded (talk) 12:07, September 27, 2016 (UTC)
