Lost Magic?

Since the Slayer Magics are usually considered Lost Magics, would you agree that we can list Devil Slayer Magic under the Lost category? ۞ DarkblueFlow ۞ Talk ۞ 20:58, October 1, 2013 (UTC)

Part Demon ?

I was thinking that Devil Slayer Magic is like Dragon Slayer Magic, as in changing some of the user’s physiognomy into that of a Demon. Like giving them sharp canines, slit pupils, and maybe different hair color. The reason a Dragon Slayer can eat external sources of elements is because they have Dragon lungs. Since Devil Slayers can do the same, doesn't that mean that they have Devil lungs?

Well, since the mechanics of Devil Slaying Magic haven't truly been explained outside the basics of Slayer Magic itself (i.e. eating elements), we don't really know and thus cannot add it to the article.

Devil Slayer Form

Why isn't a picture of the markings that are on grays body during the avatar and alvarez arc & the fact that it boosts his power in the description of what the magic does?184.61.104.186 16:16, October 11, 2015 (UTC)

Because we have no confirmation that the magic boosts his power, just that it can be used alongside Ice-Make (which is already there), and there is no room for a picture that size.

It should probably say something along the lines of "learning it too quickly leads to the markings spreading uncontrollably, but once controlled can be spread at will" rather than what it currently says. --Neffyarious (talk) 22:56, September 4, 2019 (UTC)

Isn't that a speculation? Are we referring to the newest chapter? I don't see how his usage of DSM is different than before?  Miskos3 ♐ Message  06:59, September 6, 2019 (UTC)

All i know is that the newly added info was from the thunder god tribe's reaction without actually stating that it was from gray's markings which led for him to be demonized and at best was just describing his strength since he defeated them alone, unfortunately all of these are from the fan translation so we can't really be sure if the fan translation is accurate or not. Feel free to update it or let me know what to change. LightningGeist 09:07, September 6, 2019 (UTC)

Thunder God Tribe have never seen Gray's DSM mode if I recall correctly, and they haven't really interacted with each other ever since Battle of Fairy Tail back in the early series. Obviously they are shocked to see his growth, especially when last time Bickslow defeated Gray and now Gray is 1v3ing them...  Miskos3 ♐ Message  11:51, September 6, 2019 (UTC)

I agree but the current info was just based from the fan translation so we really can't be 100% sure what the author really meant, i'll try to talk to another user who might give us a better understanding so i'll update you what they'll say. I guess i just got so used to seeing fan translation being unreliable lol, well if there was no confirmation on what the raws says then we can just follow what you said. LightningGeist 15:37, September 6, 2019 (UTC)

Well last chapter he was losing with just his normal speed and strength, so he demonized, then in this chapter he beat them easily with just speed and strength, so even without translations it seems clear that the markings enhance his powers. They also enhance appear to help his Ice-Make, as he doesn't seem to be able to use Silver without them. --Neffyarious (talk) 18:11, September 6, 2019 (UTC)
