Hey guys. Just want to know what you guys think. Should we use the X791 pictures of the characters who aged after the time skip or would you guys like to keep them as it is. Or would you like both of them to appear (maybe we can work something out xD) 21:17, March 24, 2012 (UTC)

Erza's image

Jude

Shouldn't you change Jude heartfilla to dead?

You can check on the status guide for the colors. If the color is gray then it means that the character is Deceased or Dead. As for Jude in Love and Lucky Guild, the background clearly states that it is gray. KOKO

Layla Heartfilia

I'm a bit confused here. The format say that the status on each category determine the last status the character was. Then for Layla, isn't it suppose to be Left for Love&Lucky but Deceased in Heartfilia Kozern??? Messithemesser (talk) 23:21, November 14, 2012 (UTC)

Rob

In the Tower of Heaven, Rob still had his guild mark; meaning he was still a member. Shouldn't we change his status to "Deceased" since it was shown that he died saving Erza? FallenShadow

Hm yeah he was a member when he passed away, so I guess his status should be changed

Lector and Jiemma

About this "Unknown" edit... Lector just disappeared, so in my opinion his status would be unknown. That's not ignoring her words, we just literally aren't sure what happened to him. And he isn't actually that much "active" right now...

In terms of guild membership, Lector has not been confirmed to have left the guild in any capacity. He hasn't resigned or been excommunicated and while he isn't around anymore, he's still confirmed to be alive by Minerva. While we don't know what exactly happened to him and where he is, Minerva's statement that he's alive is enough to confirm him as such. As such, until he's confirmed otherwise, he is still a member and he is still alive.

Jiemma, though beaten by Sting, was shown alive after the initial blast. While Minerva did say that the guild had no need for losers, whether or not he's actually been removed from his post has not been stated. As such, without a statement, we consider him to still be a member and he's definitely still alive unless shown otherwise.

Prisoned characters

There is an subcategory to "Others" named "In Prison". However, it does not contain all characters known to be prisoned, like most of the Eisenwald or Oracion Seis guild or Jellal Fernandes for that matter. Should it be fixed? Sligneris (talk) 15:33, February 14, 2013 (UTC)

Hmm, I'd call it a 'serious' look rather than an 'angry' one. Nevertheless, I thought his expression was better and more suited for a potential profile image. Moreover, in the proposal, he is looking straight to the camera, in contrary to the odd angle in the current one. Considering these factors, I thought that the proposal, while not perfect, is better than the current one. Greetings, men, women, kids of all ages... things. Natsu and Lucy got new pictures in which they both contain their new outfits. Erza, on the other hand, still has that old one with that creepy smile. In addition, in the old pic she is not looking exactly towards the camera. I propose a change!

Should links to the future Character's pages be added here too, rather than having to click the present character and search for the "counterpart" line there?

Consider the FT movie characters in the Characters article?

Is it fine to consider Carbuncle and its top four members into the Characters page including Kriem, Geese, Kalard, Eclair and Momon? Because they already appeared in the FT movie.--AtlasFlame206 (talk) 08:33, August 6, 2013 (UTC)

They already have their own character pages, though currently they are only accessible from the movie's article.

Though considering that the characters from the OVAs and omakes (particularly the cross-over characters that are clearly outside the actual story line) are also listed here, I think the movie characters should also be linked here.

Text shadow

I've actually never liked it. But its sort of necessary cuz the letters in the colors for Former and Deceased would blend too much into the background. 04:42, January 27, 2014 (UTC)

Minor questions

Just some minor questions rolled into one:

Siegrain is 'Removed' on the Ten Wizard Saints page, implying excommunication, but 'Former' here. Is his betrayal and obvious, though not official, departure from the organization considered 'Former' or the fact that there was obviously no formal resignation, but rather a forceful striking off of his name from the organization considered 'Excommunication'? /me has no idea about the 'Former' status under the Magical Council too.
Jose was 'Excommunicated' rather than 'Former' in the 'Ten Wizard Saints' ... right?
Lamy should be alive, right?
If it doesn't contradict the manga, can anime be used as reference? Episode 40 shows Fukuro saving Vidaldus and Ikaruga, both alive.
Layla left Love & Lucky and died while affiliated to the Heartfilia Konzern, shouldn't she be 'Former' for Love & Lucky rather than 'Deceased'? She's already shown as 'Deceased' for Heartfilia Konzern. If otherwise, shouldn't Precht and Rob be 'Deceased' under Fairy Tail?
Same as above for Zoldeo in the Heartfilia Konzern.
Warrod Sequen is currently affiliated to the Ten Wizard Saints where his most recent status can be shown, is it really necessary to keep him under 'Others'?
Lullaby is not deceased, but imprisoned. So shouldn't the status be 'Alive' or 'Unknown'?
We've got quite a few Demons now, should there be a section created for them? Something like this? If the section is approved, can Lullaby and Deliora be removed from 'Others'?

Relationships

They are messy and incomplete: In some of them, we can clearly see evidence people trying to push for their romantic pairings. Since our character synopsis articles are so long anyways, people can figure out the relationships between the characters themselves. Either that, or we should invest time in updating the current relationship pages to reflect their portrayal as of the Tartarus Arc.

We write what we see. Do I personally think there should be relationship sections? No, not really. I think they're annoying (ironic, coming from me). But what we have written is based on what we see, so any implications that are given are ones that are given to us first from the author. We will not remove the relationship sections. If you are adamant on doing so, then open a forum about it.
