God Seeds

Chapter 54 clarifies that the people living on Aldoron's body are distinct from the God Seeds, which resided within the orbs; the massive mob from Chapter 52 is the form Wolfen takes. SubZeroSilver (talk) 12:50, April 22, 2020 (UTC)

Based on your last edit it would mean that the god seeds are only the five guardian deities correct? but what about the god seeds that were acting as citizens of draseal? I thought everything that grows on aldoron's back are god seeds coz you know they are the seeds of a dragon god thats why its called God Seeds, but among the god seeds there are the five guardian deities that was residing in aldoron's orbs. So in a way all guardian deities are god seeds but not all the god seeds are composed of the guardian deities since some god seeds are nameless like the ones pretending to be people and whose purpose is to heal the wood dragon. What do you think? LightningGeistRead about Laxus? 12:57, April 22, 2020 (UTC)

I just want to add these here incase others would want to share their thoughts.

In chapter 50 it was shown that the citizens are part of aldoron himself and were described as "seeds" with quotation marks possibly to note that there's more to reveal about it later on and not to spoil it early on. In chapter 52 we are introduced with the first named god seed which is wolfen who then introduced a mob of good seeds similar to him.

I also checked chapter 54 and i cant seem to find where it says that only the guardian deities are the only god seeds that exist. The way i see it, the guardian deities are the only God seeds with names while the rest are unnamed and not as important as the five that is why majority of the god seeds are just treated as nameless citizens and meant to grow on aldorons back and heal him while the five are meant to protect him with their own ways.

Metro also created a new batch of larger and bulkier god seeds and metro was said to command the army and where would metro get an army its not like they will employ or recruit other beings to fight for aldoron therefore the logical option is for aldoron and metro to create more god seeds as part of their so called army.

Lastly when the God seed version of aldoron is talking to natsu he introduced the five as guardian deities and that's it, aldoron himself never called them god seeds as if it was a title or a name of the group, and the way i see it whenever a named god seed introduce themselves they are saying that they are a god seed which denotes what kind of being they are and followed by their name, therefore we get "I am the God Seed Metro" where the word god seed is used to describe what they are or what race they are.

So in short it was consistently shown that everything that grows on the wood dragon god aldoron are tree and plant like beings and all of them are referred to as the wood dragon god's seeds or god seeds, and among the god seeds that grew from aldoron are the five guardian deities who each have their own names and specific roles making them elites compared to the god seeds acting as metro's minions and the god seeds acting as draseal's citizens.

That is why i believe that the current setup is fine and we can even wait for more chapters since it might clarify things up and differentiate the guardian deities, the draseal citizens and the minions summoned by metro as three different races. The citizens describe themselves as Aldoron's nutrients. Wolfen describes himself as his guardian, which is supported by Aldoron's description of them as "guardian deities". Also, Chapter 54 doesn't verbally describe Metro's army as God Seeds at any point. Thus, classifying the citizens as God Seeds seems more interpretative on the editors' part—like how Sonya's article originally presented her as over 400 years old just because she existed 400 years ago when her age was not only never said, but flat out disproven by the anime 's revelation that she traveled through Eclipse (a pre-existing method of allowing present characters to exist in ancient times without affecting their age)—than keeping them distinct until more conclusive evidence arises. SubZeroSilver (talk) 15:50, April 22, 2020 (UTC)

So youre saying the citizens should just be labeled as just sentient seeds or nutrients and seperate from the race of the god seeds, while the guardian deities are the only existing god seeds, as for the minions metro controls what would we label them if they are not nutrients and god seeds? Ok i've now updated the pages feel free to double check them and as for metro's minions i just called them wood golems as a placeholder for now. LightningGeistRead about Laxus? 17:00, April 22, 2020 (UTC)

"Wood Golems" works. But for the record, Metro's description in Japanese is メトロは力の大群を持ち (Metoro wa chikara no taigun o mochi), which would more accurately mean "Metro is in charge of powerful hordes," rather than an army. Also, the word used to describe the citizens as 種 (tane), or "seeds". SubZeroSilver (talk) 17:20, April 22, 2020 (UTC)
