Swordsmen (剣士 Kenshi) are individuals who have trained in the art of the sword.

Overview

Due to the abundance of swords throughout the Kingdom of various types such as longswords, katanas, sabers and rapiers, almost nearly every Guild and organization has a swordsman in it, possessing various levels of skills and mastery and are regarded with high respect from their peers. As such, of all known weapons specialists, swordsmen are by far the most common and popular.

Abilities

While most known forms of swordplay aren't properly classified as specific fighting styles, some follow specific stances and forms when employing their swordsmanship.

Master level swordsmen have incredible precision and as well as strength, fending off multiple foes at once, being able to deflect bullets with graceful speed and slice through massive targets almost instantly or even several hundreds of projectiles. Various Mage swordsmen wield swords with magical properties, capable of casting spells and a abilities unique to it, even employing various elemental forms of Magic. Mages with crafting abilities are capable of manifesting several of their own swords based on the element they specialise.
