Sand Magic (砂の魔法 Suna no Mahō) is a Caster Magic and Holder Magic that involves the usage of sand.
Description[]
It is a form of Magic revolving around the use of sand, which is placed under the user's command for them to employ for various purposes. The user manipulates sand and shapes it into a variety of forms for different purposes, with the most prominent so far being for combat, with sand-made bullets being the most common attacks.[3] Due to the sheer amount used in its casting, the sand itself is very powerful.[3]
The sand can also be used to track the locations of others, interestingly this is supposedly by "communicating" with the sand, implying some deep connection to it.[4] The sand can also have its deadly and lethal effects, such as absorption the moisture from its victims,[6]
Expert users of this Magic appear to be nearly invulnerable to most physical attacks, turning any inanimate object into sand, including ice,[7] disintegrating and direct hits from swords.[8] Even turning their bodies into sand to attain a form of intangibility.[9]
The user is however vulnerable to water based abilities which can harden the sand and even slice the sand Mage's body, wind abilities can also be used to blow away any sand attacks. The sand user can also manipulate sandstorms, with enough Magic Power it can even cover a whole town, as well as counter its previous weakness by blinding the enemy and hiding in the sand blizzard.[10]
