Reiss (レイス Reisu) was a Fifth Generation Dragon Slayer and former member of Diabolos, a guild of dragon eaters.[1]

History
At some point in time, Reiss devoured a Spirit Dragon or a Dragon Slayer with the properties of a Spirit Dragon, which enabled him to take on their power. He was originally a Fairy Tail Mage, being in the same generation as Makarov. With this Magic Reiss gains a spiritlike ability to not be heard or seen by anyone other than a Dragon or a Dragon Slayer.[5] He can also attack his target with the souls of the dead[6] and become intangible like a spirit, giving him an immunity to any attacks.[7]
