Red Lightning Dragon Mode (モード赩雷竜 Mōdo Kakurairyū) is a Lightning Dragon Slayer ability.
Description[]
Red Lightning Dragon Mode is a unique ability usable by a Lightning Dragon Slayer. When the mode is activated, the user gains access to a special kind of dark-red lightning that they can use to attack.[1] The lightning has been described as a "lightning that goes beyond lightning", and is noticeably more powerful and possesses unique properties, as it was able to kill Wall Eehto, a Machias who is extremely proud of his immunity to all forms of traditional lightning, be it Dragon Slayer lightning or otherwise, including the immensely powerful Lightning Magic from the Wizard Saint-tier Mage Laxus Dreyar.[2] Laxus stated that blood is what makes the power of the Red Lightning, and Erza mentions it to be stronger than expected.[3] This lightning has been shown to cut through atmospheric force walls that would normally block powerful attacks.[4]
