Magic and Abilities[]

Clinging Dragon Slayer Magic (粘の滅竜魔法 Nen no Metsuryū Mahō): Nebaru is able to use this Magic that allows him to gain the abilities and characteristics of a Clinging Dragon. With this Magic Nebaru is able to create a sticky substance that he can use on multiple ways such giving him the ability to stick on the ceiling, use it to attack his targets from afar and wrap it around his enemies and incapacitate them by manipulating the adhesive with circulating hand gestures with both arms from a distance.[4] This magic also gives Nebura the ability to replenish his power by consuming any kind of sticky adhesives such as gum.[5] Nebura can also form weapons such as a massive spear propelled at a target.[6] Nebaru also gains an advantage over wind-based spells, making them ineffective against the sticky substances he releases.[7]

  • Clinging Dragon's Sticky Roar (粘竜のネバネバ咆哮 Nenryū no Nebaneba Hōkō): Nebaru's exclusive Dragon's Roar, in which he quickly releases a roar made up of a sticky substance onto his target.[8]
Nebaru's Dragon Force

Nebaru's Dragon Force

Dragon Force (竜の力(ドラゴンフォース) Doragon Fōsu): Like all Fifth Generation Dragon Slayers, Nebaru has the ability to use Dragon Force. However, the use of it is forbidden as it differs from the previous generations.[9] Upon entering this state, Nebaru's body and muscles become bigger, his hair changes color and his overall appearance becomes more feral. He also releases a strong Magic Power that makes the person near him feel like they are being coiled and melted[10] as well as gives his attacks melting properties.[11] Prolonged use of his Dragon Force causes him to rapidly undergo Dragonization, gaining more Dragon features such as horns and scales and eventually go out of control.[12]

  • Enhanced Speed: Through the use of Dragon Force, Nebaru was shown to have improved his speed as he was able to continuously attack Wendy and prevent her from evading him.[13]
  • Enhanced Strength: With the help of Dragon Force, Nebaru was also shown to have greater physical strength. The Clinging Dragon Eater was able to overpower Wendy and weaken her until she was no longer able maintain her Dragon Force state.[13]
Nebaru's Dragonization

Nebaru's dragonization due to his Dragon Force

Dragonization (竜化 Ryūka): As a Dragon Eater, Nebaru’s Dragonization is typically triggered by his Dragon Force, where the process rapidly transforms him into a Dragon, causing him to eventually loose his sanity and go out of control. Nebaru increases in muscle mass, growing horns from his head with his face protruding into a snout, pointy ears, manifesting scales on his skin with spikes protruding through his back and limbs as well as a tail.[12]

Enhanced Smell: Nebaru has a great sense of smell, as he is able to instantly tell that Wendy Marvell is a Dragon Slayer.[14]

Enhanced Durability: Nebaru is durable enough to take direct hits from Wendy and shrug it off, as shown when he received a couple of kicks from her[15][16] as well as being unharmed when he was struck by her Sky Dragon's Claw.[17]
