Natsu Dragneel vs. Midnight is a fight fought between Mage of Fairy Tail, Natsu Dragneel and Guild Master of Reborn Oración Seis, Midnight.
Prologue
Natsu fights with Imitatia, but has a hard time beating her, because Midnight encourage her, that if she beat Natsu, she can be forever with Lucy. However, the Archbishop comes to his senses and says, that there's a way to slow down or even stop Lucy merging with the Infinity Clock. Warren uses his Telepathy to relay this to everybody in the Infinity Castle.[1]

When everybody's listen, the Archbishop tells, that the chains linking the Clock to the ground spread Real Nightmare and taking away the lands' magical power at the same time. So, if they destroy the Clock's chains, they can buy some time. After hearing this, everybody start to destroy the chains rapidly.[1]
During this, Erza defeats Cobra and the unconscious Lucy tells, that another Oración Seis member is defeated. Natsu's and Imitatia's fight is still going. Midnight then says, that Lucy will soon be part of the Clock and with this, she'll be erased from everybody's memories, which shocks Imitatia. Midnight says that Lucy won't leave her, she'll just become a tool. With this, Imitatia recognizes the truth and tries to save Lucy yelling that she didn't want this.[1]
Klodoa starts to worry, but Midnight tells him, that it's nonsense and changes Imitatia back to a doll, much to Natsu's Happy's, Coco's and Romeo's suprise. Midnight then steps on Imitatia and the startled and angered Natsu (with Romeo's help) attack Midnight saying, that he will beat him and they begin their fight.[1]
Battle
Lucy soon totally merged with the Infinity Clock
The battle starts with Natsu tries to hit Midnight with his Magic, unsuccessful, because Midnight defends himself with his own magic and retaliates with some strikes, hitting Natsu. Midnight then smiles and says, that his father's will soon be carried out, when Lucy (who already lost his consciousness) merge with the Clock. As Happy and Coco try to save her Natsu swears, that he ain't gonna let her vanish.[2]
When the two fighters stands opposite each other, Elfman and Romeo try to help Natsu, but Midnight sends Klodoa to handle them. Natsu don't lose his confidence, as he determines himself and his comrades and attacks Midnight again with his flaming hand.
Natsu trapped by Genesis Zero
However, Midnight easily dodges and reflect Natsu's attack with his Reflector magic. But reflected attacks didn't hurt Natsu. Midnight then says, that he made a huge sacrifice to gain as power as his father's, which confuses Natsu. Midnight casts Genesis Zero and says, that Natsu will be a resident of 'Land of Nil'. The spell traps Natsu in the world darkness and Midnight says, that the situation is perfect for two friends. While Natsu trapped in, Lucy is floating inside of the Infinity Clock.[2]
However, Natsu can use magic in the darkness, as he initiate his flames and yells to Midnight, that he can go to hell, because he made Lucy and Michelle cry.
Midnight under the Real Nightmare spell
Lucy also strengthen herself and somehow uses Real Nightmare on Midnight, who sees the R-System and himself as a kid. Midnight then realizes, that Lucy controlled the Clock and casted the Real Nightmare on him. He realizes, too, that with just one engraved seal left, he can't control the Infinity Castle and notes, that he was careless. Natsu takes advantage of this, breaks out from the spell and lands a direct hit on Midnight.[2]
The two clash
Klodoa flees for his life, while Natsu and Midnight talk about feelings and the power of them. Both of them lands hits and kicks on each other and Natsu sends a torrent of fire from his mouth, similarly to his Fire Dragon's Roar, but Midnight absorb it with his Reflector again. Natsu asks, what Midnight sacrificed and he answers, that he sacrificed the future.[2]
After that, they clash hard and it seems, that Natsu overpowers Midnight, whose face cracks. The latter says, that it's impossible and they argue about the power of feelings. Natsu finally breaks through Midnight's magic, but Midnight grabs Natsu for a moment and throw him away. Natsu gets up in no time and says to Midnight, that he's warped and his feelings twisted.[2]
Natsu lands the finishing blow
He then directly kicks Midnight's face with his knees, then hit him with his head and finishes it with a powerful kick, which makes Midnight fly into a stone wall, making his arms crack, too. Midnight then ask Natsu astonished, but Natsu don't answer, because he says, that he tackled Lucy's and Michelle's head on and that he has no right laughing at it. Natsu then runs to Midnight and lands the finishing blow with his fists. Midnight then says a powerless 'Father' and falls to the deep.[2]
Aftermath
"So this huge fish castle is...Lucy's body?!"
As Midnight falls, Romeo starts to joy, but his happiness cut short by Elfman, who wonders, where's Lucy. Happy and Coco cry, that they were late and Lucy's gone, which confuses Natsu. Suddenly, Lucy's voice starts coming from all of the Infinity Castle, saying, that she has a bad feeling about it. Everybody starts wondering, where's Lucy. Wendy and Carla realizes, that Lucy totally merged with the Castle. Natsu and Happy are suprised, now that the Castle is Lucy's own body. Lucy gets embarrassed, saying, it's too cruel to be Happy's food and for this, Happy says, that he won't eat her.[2]
Warren somehow reaches Lucy with his Telepathy and tells, that he recently got a call from the Guild.
He also tells, that Jean-Luc and the others found another way to save Lucy. Levy explains, that the only thing can stop the Infinity Clock are the Celestial Spirit Mages' bio-links, but if they want them, they first have to break the spell, that made them into a chrysalis-like state. But if something go wrong in the process, the Clock will scatter to pieces again. Natsu asks, if there's another way and Lucy answers, that she try something. She says, that she's a Fairy Tail Wizard, Jude's and Layla's daughter and Michelle's big sister, so she doesn't care about the process' risk.[2]
The Clock suddenly starts glowing, as Lucy hardly tries to do the process. Michelle then appears to her, saying that it's okay and she's with her. When the Clock and Lucy's up in the sky, the Clock flies apart as many blue light rays and Lucy flies in one of it. Every civilian in the nearby town and also Kinana watches the rays.[2]
