Misfortune (ミスフォーチュン Misufōchun) is an Exceed and a member of Fire and Flame guild.[1]
Appearance[]
Misfortune appears like most Exceeds, appearing as a tiny anthropomorphic feline, however her whole body also appears to be constantly covered or made of fire. Her eyes are also round with eyelashes.[1]
Personality[]
Misfortune is rather polite and carefree, casually referring to her guild mates with cute nicknames as well as happily greeting someone who just happens to be an enemy of their guild.[2]

100 Years Quest arc[]
Misfortune first appeared flying towards Wed's battle with Erza Scarlet, informing her ally to return home eminently as something is beginning sooner than expected. While Erza is shocked by Misfortune's appearance. Hearing the news, Wed instead feels more inclined to stay and resume their sword battle.[2]
Magic and Abilities[]
Aera (翼 Ēra): Like most know Exceeds, Misfortune is also able to manifest wings from her back to enable her to fly.[2]
Fire Magic (火の魔法 Hi no Mahō): Misfortune uses Fire Magic just like the rest of her guild and utilizes it in her own unique way.[1]
- Flame Form (炎の体 Honō no Karada): Misfortune use her Magic turn her body completely into fire, giving her a constant fiery appearance, even taking the shape of a bird when flying.[2]
