Magic Shields are magical pieces of personal hand held armory, sometimes attached to the wrists or forearms. These items possess magical capabilities primarily for defensive measures, protecting the holders from harm as well as anything or anyone behind them. Different shields may offer specific abilities either by forming magical barriers[1][2][3] or deflecting attacks back at an opponent.[4]
