Kurnugi Style Sword Drawing Art Abyss (クルヌギ流抜刀術深淵 Kurunugi-ryū Battō-jutsu Shin'en) is a unique style of swordsmanship created by Suzaku.
Description[]
A revised form of the original Kurnugi Style Sword Drawing Art developed by Suzaku. Like the original, it utilizes Sword Saint Dragon Slayer Magic in a Battō-jutsu fashion of delivering quick slashes from unsheathing the sword. This style appears to build up more power into a singular powerful attack delivered at an incredible speed. The trail of the attack seemingly appears in dark vortex, while the sword slashes themselves also take on a dark color.[1]
The stance to perform it is similar to that of the Kurnugi Style Sword Drawing Art, although different: One must first take the said position of the original, before taking that of the Abyss, which consists of changing the foot of support, while leaning forward, thus freeing the sword for a forward unsheathing rather than to the side, similar to Iai-jutsu.[2][3]
