Kurnugi Style Sword Drawing Art (クルヌギ流抜刀術 Kurunugi-ryū Battō-jutsu) is a unique style of swordsmanship.
Description[]
A form of swordsmanship that employs Dragon Slayer Magic, specifically an element that revolves on sword techniques. This style was originally used by the Dragon Kurnugi before Suzaku in inherited it upon consuming him.[1]
This style focuses on delivering incredibly quick slashes upon drawing the sword reminiscent of traditional Battō-jutsu, the blade then sheathed to perform equally or more powerful spell techniques. The attacks of this style are faster than most could perceive, as if the user hasn't moved at all. These attacks can also affect ethereal Magic spells, and to cut through intangible things like the fire.[2][3]
The stance to perform it appears to be to lean on the left leg, with the right leg extended to the side, with the sword behind the supporting leg for a side draw.[4]This stance appears to be the basis of that for the Kurnugi Style Sword Drawing Art Abyss.[5]
