Iron Dragon's Scales (鉄竜の鱗 Tetsuryū no Uroko) is an Iron Dragon Slayer Magic Spell.

Description

The user covers part of their body or the entirety of it including their hair and clothes with iron scales to dramatically increase both their offense and their defense. These scales are strong enough to shatter rock and bone alike, resilient against regular flames, and much harder than conventional iron (just like Natsu Dragneel's flames). It has also been claimed that these scales make the user's physical blows twice as powerful, and boost their defense, as shown when a sword shattered against them, despite being made of the same material. In addition, the scales are even capable of stopping a charged, downward slash from a gargantuan sword of a physically powerful individual without fail, with the assailant claiming that his blade could easily crush iron. The Mage’s body increases in weight when fully turned into iron, as well as withstand the force of destructive cyclones with ease. The potency of this spell can be enhanced if the user absorbs carbon and turns their iron body into steel.
