Gates are magical portals that connects one world to another.
Description[]
Gates are portals created through the use of certain types of Magical spells, Mages can open Gates that breach into other worlds.[1] Certain gateways can only open to a specific worlds, while other Gates can lead to almost any alternate worlds. Each Gate appearances varies depending on the mechanism of how its opened and the world it leads to.[2][3]
Notable Gates[]
Celestial Spirit Gates[]
Gates that open to the Celestial Spirit World, these can be accessed with the Celestial Spirit Gate Keys, being used to call upon Celestial Spirits from said world.[1] Each Spirit has their own personal Gate to come through, sometimes a Spirit will pass through in a state of emergency or with their power,[4] Mage can even call upon the Spirits without their keys when overflowing with enough Magic.[5]
Gate of the Wraith’s Wail[]
A gate that’s accessed by the Genesis Zero spell, this Gate leads to the World of Nil, where countless wraith-like ghosts pass through and drag a target’s enemy into their world.[3]
Human Gate[]
A unique Gate utilized by users of Human Subordination Magic, that capture Humans and force them into servitude, the Humans in question are stored away and summoned by the user through a its own Gate.[6]
Anima[]
A Magical device in Edolas that opens a gateway into the sky of its world to another. It also has the function of absorbing and transferring Magic, as well as crystalizing into Lacrima, the effects can also be reversal.[2]
Eclipse Gate[]
A massive mechanical magical device that opens a gateway into another point in time, any massive alterations to the past would cause that point in time to become an alternate world.[7]
Relocation[]
A Moon Dragon spell that allows user to transport anywhere even into virtually almost any world, even to worlds where Magic is limited.[8]
Aqua Aera[]
A type of spell that forms a gateway to another alternate world by using a source of water. The liquid will form a ring portal for the user to pass through to another world.[9]
