Freezing (凍 Tō) is a Spirit Art that revolves around the concept of freezing.
Description[]
The user can create and controls icy snowstorms, and are also equipped with elite freezing potential, ice forms, a variety of cold based attacks as well as summoning and conjunction beings from snow and ice. Similar to Ice Mages, users of this art are unbothered by the cold, in fact they can assume a battle form to enhance their abilities which consists of an attire made of ice on their bare skin.[1]
This Spirit Art can instantly freeze targets in ice and prevent the proper usage of Magic Power, Curse Power, and Spirit Arts, this robs the targeted individual's ability of harnessing any of those essences, which can include resistances and attributes, being cold enough to affect ice Mages who are normally resilient to it and fire Mages are unable to melt their way free.[2]
However, this appears to have no effect on Ice Devil Slayers or their Demonization, having greater resistance to the freezing cold this Spirit Art provides. The ice and snow techniques of this Spirit Art seam to be almost on par with Ice Devil Slayer Magic, being capable of freezing each others abilities.[3]
