Wrath's translation/summary of the spoiler pages:

The chapter starts off with a flashback to a place called the Dragonov Kingdom, which existed 400 years ago. Two soldiers are discussing a human population being attacked on the western continent (presumably Alvarez), and wonder whether it could be dragons. A large dragon, by the name of Belserion, appears. He is the Sage Dragon and tells them that he has returned from reconnaissance and that there is no intelligence of any dragons in the west engaging in such activity. However, he does note that the west is a very dangerous place, one far more dangerous than he had imagined. He asks the soldiers where Irene is. They tell him that she (they refer to her as “Queen”) had gone to the courtyard. In the courtyard, dragons and children are playing together (it is clear that this takes place during the Civil War, and that this is the pro-cohabitation faction). Belserion calls out to a young Irene; Irene is surprised to see Belserion and asks him when he got back.

A good number of pages are skipped (presumably), and we see Rogue unconscious, Sting brooding, Laxus mourning his grandfather, and Erik also unconscious. At the underground room, Lucy has stripped, and she and Happy are warming Natsu underneath a blanket, where they both worry for him and desire for him to open his eyes. Inside Natsu’s heart, Natsu is with Wendy. She tells him that “Miss Irene” was the one who invented Dragon Slayer Magic, and that that is according to "Miss Anna." Natsu doesn't listen, though, and wonders when she got here. Wendy disappears and is replaced with Gajeel, who tells Natsu that he should stop acting surprised because they are in his heart. He also derides Natsu, telling him that he’s sure that the others before him explained this, but adds that they never told him why he’s going to die.

So... when is this movie meant to be taking place again? I thought it was meant to be a kinda after-the-end thing that wasn't going to be too connected to the manga outside the characters having obvious power ups from certain arcs? Kinda confused now...

Guess we'll have to wait and see or something .-.

I always assumed it was post-Avatar, pre-Alvarez, because of Natsu's bandages. From what I'm reading, the second image I linked is supposed to be a post-credit scene teasing the manga events.

The interview with Mashima mentions that the movie also includes a backstory on a character, which couldn't be included in the manga. From the spoilers that I came across, it seems like the character is

Acnologia. Paraphrasing /u/ranea_42 from reddit who has seen the movie:

The movie gives a backstory to Acnologia. 400 years ago, Acnologia sees Stella (the movie character) being attacked in Crocus by the dragons (Zirconis is there too). He can't take it and tries to protect her, leading to what we saw in the present story as Dragon Graveyard below the stadium. This is apparently when he decides that dragons aren't needed in this world anymore. Source

Wow, really, that's his backstory? ( .__.) If it's true and loyal to what the movie presents I'm pretty disappointed. Again though, guess we'll have to wait and see.

I figured it was post-Avatar pre-Alvarez too, that scene with Zeref and the 12s are teasing season 3. They managed to get everyone in there, too hype. I hope we get an announcement soon. Acnologia's backstory sounds alright, at least he has motivation and not in a ship kind of way. Yeah, I mean, if Acno's entire deal is that he hates dragons for attacking some girl, then I don't see why he needs to take out the Dragon Slayers. Technically it would be more logcial to try and recruit them seeing as they have Magic specifically designed to take out dragons. And especially in the present time when the DSs don't seem to know that they can turn into dragons or w/e that plot point is you think Acno wouldn't stir up trouble and just leave it. But w/e I suppose. Flimsy drive is flimsy, but I should really see the movie before judging in case this is a misinterpretation or something.

As for Erza's armour XD XD Omg, literally wtf. As much as the idea of her using Jellal's Magic is awesome, this hints that Erza could use any high tier magic she liked if she could find a random piece of uniform to put on. Dragon Slayer armour, God Slayer armour, Take-Over armour. Like, uhg, w/e again, I dun wanna think about it too much without seeing the movie. I might approve if Jellal had purposefully crafted it for her with his own magic imbued into it, but... *sighs* I'm to tired too think right now, I'ma go to bed XD

Lmao, I think I wouldn't mind Erza with specific magic armors but dragon/god slayer armor is streching it. Jellal's magic is fine though. On Acnologia yeah but we don't need another Naruto with two tragic backstories that are way too similair. To be real, Acnologia didn't really need one, just wanting to go on a murder streak to kill dragons would of been fine. But I don't mind his backstory, it does give him depth. I love villains with motives, being that it's simple that he wanted to kill all dragons for Sonya's family makes it fine imo, simple can be better. I'm legit hyped for this movie, really looks good.
