Process

Does anyone else find our working process a litte.... unorganized and awkward or is it just me? Of course I'm the one who thought up our process, so I take full responsibility for it's weirdness, but this is the first project we've done like this on the site so I didn't really know how I wanted to handle it. >_> Anyhow, I guess what I'm asking is - are you guys fine with our current process or do you have suggestions as to how it can be better? Agreed. I think that doing both anime and manga is a waste of time and too confusing. We should just focus on the manga. By doing so, we won't have to worry about what the other person has and what should be added; I meant to say this when we started working. Glad you brought it up. :/ The filler arcs can be done last.

I thought we would all make the big list and the thing that gets listed by, let's say... 3 or more people would make it to the timeline, or at least, to the elimination round or something the like. I didn't know that we would vote for a person-who-did-it's big list, well, that's how I see it, basing from what Mega said. Fallens 1 st Draft

Initial Stage: Members are briefed upon the Arc that will be undertaken/researched. Depending on the size of the Arc, members will have a quick discussion and agree upon a time limit, in which they research the chapters contained within the Arc. Members (or the Team Leader) will decide whether to cover Anime and Manga, Anime, or just the Manga. Research Stage: Members research and list their references in either a: Scratch Pad, Portal Talk, or their own individual work-spaces contained within (a) subpage(s). Once everyone's research is concluded, or time expires; and a discussion will be opened on a suitable page upon which the members will discuss and decide upon the information to be added to the timeline; using the information from members lists or work-spaces. Finalization: If needed, references are double-checked to ensure accuracy and consistency. Reference ordering will be double checked and corrected as needed. The information and references are checked for spelling errors as well as appropriate tags are used and make corrections as needed. Once members are satisfied with the work put forward the team leader concludes and archives the discussion; then integrates the information into the timeline.

That looks pretty detailed for our process, but yeah, easier to understand and I believe it would make our work process more organized and faster... perhaps? I'd support this as our process guidelines, if ever.  11:46AM, June 15, 2013

I think your list is pretty much what we need Fallen. :) The only thing change is removing the first bullet point on the third stage. I trust everyone here to get accurate references, so double checking them would be time consuming and unnecessary. Jakuho Raikoben18:54,6/15/2013
