All users are free to add an article that they feel should be voted on to be featured on the Main Page. However, understand that to be featured an article must meet certain requirements. Votes should be based on the quality of the article (i.e. nicely organized, in-depth information, properly referenced, free of speculation, decent grammar).

Article Requirements

Character articles that are featured should be complete or near complete as far as synopsis goes. All articles should have a good amount of the article referenced (fully referenced articles are more preferable). Character articles should have a nice text to image ratio and the images must be appropriate. Though articles do not have to be perfect to be considered and if an article has recently had a serious improvement in quality, but it's still not an "excellent" article then it can still be considered.

Episode pages, chapter pages and music pages DO NOT qualify for a featured article.

Once an article has been featured once, it can't be featured again for another 6 months.

How It Works
Voting on Fairy Tail Wiki is easy. There are a few things to remember when you do so. Firstly, number your vote. Putting # will add the next number in a sequence. Place this first. Then add the template (Support/Neutral/Oppose) you want with the reason why next to it. Finally, sign your vote with ~~~~ which will automatically place your username and talk page when you hit enter.
Support
Placing {{Support}} means that you support the item in voting and wish to see the change made. A support vote counts as one vote.
Neutral
Placing {{Neutral}} means that you do not support the change but you do not oppose it either. Neutral does not count as a vote and is only used to express opinion without actually counting towards the final decision.
Oppose
Placing {{Oppose}} means that you do not support the change and do not want the change to be made. An oppose vote counts as one vote.

• No one person's vote counts more than someone else's. Administrators' and Policy and Standards Council members' included!
• Users are allowed to cast one "Support" vote only. If a user casts more than one "Support" vote, all of their votes will be moved to the "Deleted Votes" section by an Admin. The user will be notified about this by that Admin and will be invited to cast a new, proper vote.
  • Admins, do not remove a user's vote and not contact them.
• Users may also use one "Oppose" vote. This vote if used properly counts towards the candidate's total. If not then it is just to show other's problems with the article.
• You do not have to use the "Oppose" vote if you do not wish to. However, if you use the "Oppose" vote, you are strongly encouraged to also use the "Support" vote to suggest your alternative.
• Any vote cast without using the {{Support}} or {{Oppose}} templates will be deleted.
• All votes must be signed. A user will be given until the end of voting deadline to sign their vote, otherwise it will be deleted. (You can sign your vote by adding 4 tildes to the end of it ~~~~ )
• A user may change his/her vote or stated reasons at any time until the end of voting deadline, so long as they do not post multiple votes.
• The voting period ends on the day before the end of the month to allow time for the feature to be prepared and put up on the first day of the new month.
• Votes cast after the voting period has expired will not be counted. The timestamp on votes will be used to judge if a vote was made in time or not.
• Users may not change the content of another users comments without their permission. It is what they wrote, and it is up to them to resolve any mistakes.
• In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by active Administrators and Policy and Standards Council members. This is so the vote can be handled as quickly as possible.

Support - H-how many times have I put this here now?? Is this the third time?? T^T I dunno, but I still stand by what I say every time: This is a great article with a lot of well-referenced, clean information. It also links to many different types of pages: characters, fights, events, locations, the whole lot :) It'll also be a nice reminder of the Tower of Heaven arc, one of the best Fairy Tail arcs in my mind. As such, again, I vote for it ^___^
